Logs
As we have a problem logging caches here on the island, mainly because we are operating without the local SIM card in our phones, I leave the logging till I get back into my accommodation where I have access to the wi-fi. So Im going with a generic log on a few of the caches we find. We are logging as VIIPERS. Thanks for the cache.
A group of caching friends are visiting from the mainland and enjoying the scenery while caching. The log was signed as team (viipers) who include cybergran V, SciFiRulz, Riddell, Ronice88, icybeetas and myself. Today we have enjoyed a tour on Emily Bay on a glass bottom boat. I was totally surprised by the variety of coral and fish that we saw in the bay. The weather was perfect and the tour guide was so knowledgeable. What a great way to spend the afternoon
A group of geocaching friends consisting of Val (cybergran V), Ian (half of the team Riddell) Ian (icybeetas) Pam (weirdobiker) Evelyn (SciFiRulz), Ronice (Ronice88) and Sylvia (half of team Riddell) are touring Norfolk Island with the aim of finding every cache here. This was a quick find of a cache in good condition and the log signed as Viipers to save space. Thank you Grumbligrot for placing it and endeavour3 for maintaining it as this cache enhanced our visit to this beautiful island.
Perfect dayPerfect locationPerfect vibesToday for us its like Norfolk has been a myth or has at least has been in the imagination mirrored by faded school lessons for so longnow the dream to visit Norfolk Island is real! The holiday suddenly looks busy busy with a schedule of tours, events and 70+ caches to find. From the first step on the island everything has been fabulous. TFTC
We stopped to look for this one on our way out of Emily Bay, having had lunch at a picnic table on the far side, and I must say this is one of the most gorgeous spots Ive ever had the privilege to have lunch at. Truly spectacular, and the blues!! Just wow. Thanks for bringing us here; we might come back tomorrow for a swim! TFTC, Grumbligrot. =^.^=
Thanks for the help Uncle E dont listen to Mum and Dad we think youre awesome! Thanks for adventure.

Introducing geocaching to a friend. She has loved finding this cache with me.
Found on a visit to Norfolk Island with the Qantas Pathfinders tour. A short visit but makes you want to come back for more. While the reception was at Government House, I wandered off to make the find. Thanks Grumbligot
Left Geospouse at Sirius museum to ancestors, and ventured out to find few caches. Spotted an out of place rock and soon had cache in hand. Tftc
A drinks stop on our bus tour. Just had to sneak away from the group to find this one. TFTC endeavour3
Waiting for my son to read all the historical plaques decided to do this cache. Very interesting area. Left pathtag featuring our dog Eve who wishes she could have come on this exploration. TFTC
Today is our last full day on the island and although we have been to this part of the island with all it's history several times we have not found any of the caches here. This morning while there seemed little stirring around our accommodation our group, The Woof Patrol (Calypso62, Gatherer Hade, FunFurMe, Chookie, Goldberry17 and me) set off early hoping to finish off the south-eastern part of the island. This is a very scenic part of the island and the rocks here once again look like a different type of deposit and are very interesting. I wish I'd come here in the warmer months as I would have loved to go swimming and snorkeling in Emily Bay. With 6000+ finds under my belt I've seen plenty like this hide before so it was a quick start to the caching morning.TFTC # 6070
#6095This morning I decided to go for a swim down to Emily Bay. Before I did, I grabbed a quick cache find of this one. So nice to get another Norfolk Island cache. I'm starting to think I might be able to clear the island. The swim was magnificent. I had the whole beach to myself and the water temperature was perfect. It allowed me time to reflect in solitude on the recent passing of my nephew David aka Rama497, who was coming to NI with me. So sad he's not here. He would have loved this place!Rest in Peace my mate. ??
We spent a fun and productive week geocaching on Norfolk Island, as well as seeing the spectacular views. We also did several tours and other activities on offer, which highlighted different aspects of the island life and history. Thanks for this cache.
After a quick paddle in Emily Bay, I swung by to collect this cache before the dark clouds rolled in.
Found the cache here and signed the log. Emily Bay is a really beautiful place. Thanks for putting a cache out here go to Grumbligrot.
Found with Ris768 while travelling on Norfolk Island TFTCLog 3310Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Grumbligrot
#14435 14:20With only a handful of caches left in the coming 3 days, I decided to go for a swim at Emily Bay. The water was gorgeous and I caught a few sunrays on the beach before also finding 'Emily Bay' and 'There'sNo Bull Here' .TFTC Grumbligrot!
#7498- A lovely spot for a cache, nestled where cachers would know but others wouldnt. Thanks
Such a beautiful location. Great views every way you turn. ?? TFTC Grumbligrot
Missed this on our last visit a few days ago. Found with MummyPenny on a morning swim trip. Fascinating to see the Polynesian site. Thanks Grumbligrot.

Found with oldmorty.Took a little longer to find than we thought it would.Maybe the wind and rain got in the way. Thanks to the CO for the cache.
#7538 NI Day 2After finishing our half day island tour and grabbing a quick bite to eat, we were off to our next organised activity: the glass bottom boats. While waiting for the second busload to arrive, b@w and I ducked off to grab a couple of nearby caches.TFTC Grumbligrot
While waiting for the Glass Bottom Boat Crash and I ducked off for a couple of quick caches. A convenient height with some camo on a good feature. We completed the signing duties and re hide. TFTC
Beautiful is an understatement for this island!! Had a full flight from Brisbane this island is a definite visit in winters !
A good quick find today after having had to abandon the search yesterday. After having a snorkel at the nearby beach, we decided to search for our first cache on Norfolk, but pictures this!My daughter and I, clutching towels around us, searching while being watched by a group partying in the nearby shelter. It all became a bit too much for us, so we did a quick exit and came back today.TFTC
Beautiful beach and I look forward to coming back soon for a swim. Nice rock formation. Quick find.
Day 2 of my Norfolk Island adventure. I can understand why people want to live here . Its a little bit of paradise. Lucky Im not scared of cows. Ive seen plenty wandering around Some logs signed as N2OThis is my 12059find.Thankyou Grumbligrot for placing and maintaining this cache
Despite being on Norfolk Island with a large family group, Im caching alone today. Found this quickly after visiting the various lab stops in this area. Gorgeous water!
Finding all kinds of beautiful spots on this fabulous island, where we arrived today for a week of relaxing and Geocaching.
I came to Norfolk on a huge 108000 tonne beast called a cruise ship which quickly overwhelmed the island population. Upon arriving in the main town, and a quick coffee it was time to cache. We went for a walk to Kington to see the sights down by the ocean, and found caches along the way. Then after a friendly local drove us back to town, there were more caches near the tender port, cascade. Loved Norfolk, bon voyage. Well tucked into the rock face. Tftc
An easy find but took two attempts to safely extract without drawing attention. Thank you

T-Tech and I are visiting Norfolk Island for our 40th anniversary. We arrived from Brisbane and are staying for 2 weeks at Endeavour Lodge, and plan to get some R&R, see all of the sites, learn the history, and gather every cache here so we can claim the Se Dun Challenge After my event in town this morning we headed to Kingston to attend the CITO, collect all the caches and adventure labs, and take in all the history. It took us most of the day to get it all done! After a lunch break at the Golf Club we took a walk around to find 2 caches. That is one big rock! T-Tech made the find. TFTC, Grumbligrot.
# 8939 Norfolk Day 3, team "Dem CBR" myself, iPlod65, Joolay, barb2e and contesta had another fantastic day of caching and exploration. We started down at Kingston with our host for the morning: Endevour3. It was cool and very blustery today, but not enough to discourage us. Then it was off to east coast to grab some more difficult caches. Lots of climbing today, but always stunning destinations. Finally off up to Captain Cook Pt for a couple of amazing spots.A quick grab here. Some logs signed collectively "Dem CBR".Thanks Grumbligrot (maintained by endeavour3) for the Traditional Cache
On holiday in Norfolk Island with StrangeTrousers. Beautiful Island. TFTC signed as DEM CBR
Walking around the island today on our first stop of our cruise. Bumped into some other cachers who had found this cache on pure intuition! thanks for the hide!
During July my wife and I took a break from Melbourne and spent a wonderful week on the Island - the first time for me (but hopefully not the last) and the second for her. Such a delightful place! I took my GPSr, with the traditionals downloaded (I don't really make the time to do puzzles or multis) and figured I would find a few as we went around the place. I never had any intention of finding all 41 of them, but somewhere around day 5 I realised it was actually feasible.
In the end it was a close call - one quite tough-to-get-to cache (Bird Island) I had to visit twice after not reading the description before my first visit and discovering it is really a multi and then stuffing up the calculations so I had an almost blind search for the cache; another (St Barnabas) was out of its hidey hole so took three visits before I found it among some fallen leaves nearby). But I got there and managed to claim them all.
In the interests of saving the limited data on my phone, I only look placeholder drafts during the week and am completing them back home, a month later. So with all due apologies, they are going to be pretty generic for the most part. But I will add comments about those that I particularly remember. No matter how detailed the final logs, I want to say a big thanks to those who have placed the caches and those who continue to maintain them. I had great fun finding them and they really helped make sure I saw as much of the Island as possible. So - a big and sincere TFTC

Such a gorgeous bay. Unfortunately it was just too cool for swimming, though this makes for a perfect excuse to come back! A nice easy cache, as they tend to be, but satisfying all the same.

Another lovely find (on a day when the cruise ship was in, so has to be quick between buses driving by). Tftc
An opportunistic grab while parked nearby for the Adventure Labs. On arrival, the nearby shelter was occupied and I was not keen on approaching GZ. Thankfully, after wandering down the grass to the salt house and gleaning the lab, the shelter had been vacated by the time I returned. Nice...
Over to GZ, the container was quickly in hand and my name added to the log. I tucked it back as found, and carried on.
Thanks for the cache placement Grumbligrot and thanks to endeavour3 for maintaining.

Our first full day on Norfolk Island and we were on the Convict History tour. When we stopped for afternoon tea we slipped away and found this cache. All in good order. TFTC
We parked here and found it quite quickly since it was visible. Hid it a little better, then rambled around the salt-house. Thanks for the cache.
Waz walked almost straight it, I was thinking it was up the slope, nope not where I thought. Tftc
While collecting some answers for adlabs, we realized were close to Emily Bay. Gz on the Garmin was close and we made a quick find and replace. Tftc.
Spotted by Just_Jess! and ktbrwn1. A quick find and plenty of room for swaps but we only had pens and our towels with us after an afternoon in the sun. TFTC
Easy find for the kids.
What a difference a day makes. This place was deserted yesterday, now it's the busiest place on the island.
Thanks for the cache.

Quiet fitting really that Miss Emily should find the cache at Emily Bay. We braved the rain today whilst out on our search for the biggest waves.
