Out and about on a sunny day with TBU1BIKESU to get more smiles and clean up some DNF.Found the cache and signed the log. Tftc .RoddyC
We had to pick up shirts in Slacks Creek, so we left early to escape the big traffic and to do some caching. We stopped here, found the cache and signed the log.Tftc RoddyC
After a successful avenging of a dnf nearby, stopped off to look for this one. Took a little while, but eventually located in the most logical spot. TFTC
I parked around the corner (opposite the burnt out house: yikes) and came back. After a fair bit of scrounging around among the somewhat spiky foliage, I was very happy to suddenly spot what I was looking for. All good here so TFTC.
After a DNF at this cache earlier in the year, I received a hint on the location of the cache recently. Today I needed a quick find to fill a spot on my calendar and sometimes its worth a long drive to a cache that you know you will find quickly. So I drove down to Rochedale just for this cache. When I arrived I knew where to look and what to look for and it still took a minute to find it. It was well hidden in the place that I didnt want to look in last time. Thanks for the well hidden cache RoddyC!
My first cache of the day, and after parking across the road, I searched the obvious structure with no luck. As there was a string of troubled logs, I PAF-ed the CO who provided a key (and new) hint to focus on. That allowed me to make the find, as there is no sign these days. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. During my PAF, the CO updated the hint in real-time, so hopefully this should be easier for subsequent visitors. Thanks [RoddyC](https://coord.info/PRC80AY) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. ---------- This morning, I planned to travel south to Rochedale and Springwood to grab a few geocaches, before heading to the [Clean-up in the Park](https://coord.info/GCATR88) CITO event and nearby [Refresh with the Pixies](https://coord.info/GCATR8T) Event at Kingston. I had a few enjoyable walks in Springwood's reserves and bushlands, and it was then good to collect rubbish scattered in Mt Taylor Reserve. Upon completion of the two events, it was then time to return north for work!
Not a good start to the day. I had read the logs and thought I knew what I was looking for but couldnt see it anywhere. Maybe its been overgrown by the spiky plants.
Not sure if its in the garden or near the footpath but coords were taking me into the garden, maybe overgrown now
The parking coordinates seem to be a cycle lane so we chose to park in Priestdale Road instead and walk back to GZ. Our GPS had us in a grassy area so we decided to check out one option a short distance away. We didnt find the cache there but did spot it right nearby. Thanks RoddyC
Parked in Priestdale Road and walked up to GZ where the cache was quickly located. As others have noted it certainly is not on a sign these days. TFTC
Mrs poolpool is teaching at the nearby school for Term 4, so about time we found this cache, initially thought it was missing along with the sign as indicated by the hint, but it's still there in a familiar container type we've seen lots in QLD, TFTC RoddyC
No...its NOT on the sign...& no sign 2 b on...but an object familiar to cachers was more or less @ GZ...T4TC:-)
Pretty quickly located. Tried not to look suspicious but phew this is an exposed spot. Tftc
Took a bit of scrabbling around and widening search. Turned out to be in the first place I looked

Out caching on Duces Tuesday - 22/2/22 with Team Barritts.
Most caches found in good condition with no issues. Over 30 finds today with only 3 DNF’s.
Great thanks to all CO’s for placing and maintaining their hides.
Ben, Jess and awesome Donna3!

While driving down to Ballina for the weekend I had to drop the eldest off at her cousin’s place. With the traffic so bad on the highway I decided to grab a few caches and waste a little time around this area hoping the traffic would die down.
After my success at the nearby adventure lab I was driving past this one and parked right next to gz. Really, we need a hint for this one, lol.
I signed the log replaced the cache as found and quickly jumped back in the car before anyone even knew I was there. Thanks for placing this one here, an easy easy find.

After trying to do a series on Underwood Road today, I went out of my way to locate this one. Till now I was having a bad day, only finding 1 of 5. This one makes 2 found of 6 so far. Thank you.
Quick stop on the way home from the CITO. Looks like a popular shop nearby.

Out and about in the area with the geo hound. I knew some stealth was required on this one so I parked down the road and set off. After a bit of a walk in the local area I headed back past GZ with a plan of attack in mind. I located the cache rather quickly and added my name to the fresh and crisp log and managed to return to with out turning too many heads thanks to the geo hound, she is the best back up tftc RoddyC

Spending the morning south of the river picking up some solved puzzles and other interesting hides. Last one before heading home.
We found 42 caches today and I think all but one were RoddyCs, such a big effort for one very busy CO , well done, we appreciate all your effort. A quick find here today.

After almost completing the nearby Puzzle series I thought I’d find a local cache or three... after stopping at the local convenience store, which has some awesome snacks... I’m currently munching my way through “crab roe flavour sunflower seeds”... yum... anyway this was a nice quick park n grab that was found earlier today... tftc...
Finally managed to head out for some geocaching with nikid1 for the first time in ages. We've been working on some nearby jigsaw caches so decided to make this our target area for the day.
We were driving past this one on the way to a nearby multi so had to stop of course. Parked nice & close & we both spotted this one at the same time.

Wanted to find a cache since it’s International Geocaching Day so picked this one up on the way home from the shops. Thanks RoddyC for the cache.
Have tried to find this one several times on the way to work with no luck. Stopped here today with “B” who of course found it quickly. Glad to get the smiley face. TFTC
Out and about early this morning to pick up a few caches on the south side

I have found another Logan Corner before however this one was a little more set back from the road making me a little less obvious. Signs have legs right ?! . All good with the cache, signed and replaced. Onto the next! Tftc
Back to business!
Being good law abiding citizens (& not wanting to share any random bugs) we have been in isolation, unlike some .
Today, armed with plenty of sanitizer, we set out for a breath of fresh air & a few nearby caches.
Quick find ... of course! LOL ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Out for my daily dose on the e-geocycle. This one showed as 14 crowlometres from home and was about 17 real km. A very pleasant ride to this one.
Probably a bit quieter here than normal. Nice and easy parking on the bike and another lucky find starting the hunt in the right spot.

Another very busy day in the Brisbane area. I headed out early to get as many caches as possible in St.Lucia then across the river to Dutton Park to clean that area up and then I got collected by Local geocaching connoisseur RoddyC on one of his maintenance runs in the Springwood area.
After stopping for coffee and a bagel at a local garden centre, we stopped to grab this one quickly. Tftc and UTV

We found this cache today for the Fun In All Directions souvenir ,it was hard to reach as it had been placed in the Aluminum tube and had to be tetrieved with some TOT,so we replaced it on the metalframe out of site for the magnet to do its job TFTC
I needed to find a cache today for a personal goal so I picked this one as I was going past the area.
The traffic here is non-stop but no one took any notice of me.
Of course the cache was not in the first place I looked but I did find it in the last place i looked.

What better way to start the year than finding a cache while the others were shopping at the nearby market. Leisurely stroll to G Z and a quick find to boot. Hope my year of caching continues like this. Rock on!
Found on 1 January 2020 at 4.00pm. TFTC, RoddyC.

I found myself on the way to work early this morning. I wasn’t going into work early because I was keen and dedicated, it was because all the staff had finished up for the year and I could cuddle the coffee machine all by myself. Peace and quiet baby!
The day started off with a cracker. There was no one in the Starbucks drive-through and I could drive all the way up to the window. Who says this holiday thing is over-rated?
It was a breeze driving down the Gateway as well. There were no peak hour fugnuggets driving too close to your tail or swapping lanes incessantly for no benefit. This holiday period is really starting to look awesome,
I was way ahead of time and so pulled in for a cache. I felt great that I had made a find and was still at the office early. Then it dawned on me that there was no staff to make my coffee and I would have to do it myself. This Christmas holiday period is starting to suck. tftc

On my way to an appointment, I took a small detour to find this. Quick, easy grab and I was in my way. Thanks for the cache
Thankfully, it was not too busy when I arrived here today. Headed into GZ via the clear path and was lucky enough to lay my hands on the cache in no time. TFTC!
After visiting Rochedale Markets, I thought why not pop over to see if I could lay my hands on this cache. There wasn't much traffic going past so was lucky in that respect. I Made my way into the garden and it wasn't long before cache was spied
In a very short space of time the log was signed and cache returned to where found.

Back up in Brizzie for another weekend and of course some caching. On the way home we stopped by and snuck into the garden. Spotted, retrieved and signed all good. Replaced, not so good! Cache popped in too far and was out of reach. Found a stick, prodded around, not long enough. Finally found a longer stick, too thick!! Third search for just the right stick and manged to retrieve and replace the cache, phew!!! TFTC RoddyC
After a long day on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail burgo78 wanted to add a few more finds to the cound for the day.

Out caching this morning with IolantheK and Richmond Lad and we made a fairly quick find at this location. Thanks RoddyC.
I was invited to have dinner with friends this evening. Traffic on the motorway was extremely heavy, so I detoured off. I was surprised how light the traffic was. This gave me a little time to spare, so I headed to this cache. At GZ, a quick find was made. With my name in the log and the cache returned to its spot, I headed off to my friend's home for dinner. Snuck in here after dark when it was quieter and still felt self conscious every time a car went past, but did find it quickly.
Would recommend not doing this one around school times as there are kids everywhere from the 5 schools in this immediate area and it is a massive traffic jam!
The upside is the Rochedale Markets across the road where cheap fruit and veggies can be procured. If your timing is really good, there is even a little coffee van on site to sustain you in your geo adventures.

Geocaching really does take you to the places you’re least expecting and makes you look at landmarks from different angles.
I never thought I’d see this sign from the other side, hiding in the small grove behind, waiting for silence and calm so I could snatch a hidden treasure from its structure.
A very memorable grab! TFTC! and thanks for the challenge!

Pulled up nearby and read description then decided to give it a miss for awhile as there was far too much traffic and daylight so off to get another cache before I returned. Parked again and trotted off to GZ and made a quick find.

Part of the group that were invited to share in the **FTF** hunt for this cache and second of three today. Certainly have to use stealth here but easy to locate, quickly sign and replace.
Car parking inside the fruit market was a bonus, such lovely fresh produce and very affordable.

Since we were in the area when this one popped up, we knew we had to come get it. Thought we were FTF since we came as soon as we got the notification, but others had already signed the log good to be back in Australia after being in Texas for a month and getting right back into it! Cheers! Teazr and Spellzen
so it's been a while since I've done any Geocaching, sitting at home rocking in the corner on my lonesome while waiting for Teazr to get back from her family visit in the states. With our first weekend back together we decided to be out and about today, while at Underwood park we got the notification of a new cache and thought "what better way to get back into it than with a fresh cache". Was a nice quick find with stealth being a big factor on a busy intersection. Log signed and replaced back as found. Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr
Attended the 'Birthday and Geo Days' event hosted by RoddyC and when it came to the **FTF** draw, i manged to get one of the winning tickets along with Gunnie69, SEMIK and Oddiewan.
We decided to tackle the caches together and share the FTF spoils!

One of three *FTF* s handed out as lucky door prizes at the nearby Birthdays and Geo Days event, the log was signed initially by the three winners, Semik & OddieWan, Ghostgums and I. This one I think presented the most difficulty in parking, but the cache was not elusive for long once we got to GZ. [^]
Names etched, cache returned, we snuck around the corner to secure a sneaky cache that appears not to be published.

Oddiewan and I scored a shared ride in GhostGums’ geomobile along with Gunnie69 and E_Smiley. It was fun caching with a new group of people even if it looked a bit like a clown car each time we all came piling out! haha. I enjoyed the camraderie and hope we can share some fun finds again someday.
