A cool and fun day of caching around the Central Tablelands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location. Thanks!
An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC drobbonz!
Frogs croaking, cars zooming by, a little damp from the rain this morning meant a sneaky shoelace tie to grab & go this little 1. TFTC!
Our first full day in Orange, and a chance to do some serious caching. We had quite a number of pre-solved caches on our agenda as well as others in the area. Our journey took us through a range of different sections of the town; residential, business, retail and some great parks and wetlands areas. We encountered some good hides which we awarded favorites as well as some challenges and straightforward finds. The weather was perfect but as usual got cold all of a sudden later in the day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache drobbonz.**SKI Pair****
Catching up with some late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Orange and are picking up a few caches along the way.Today we headed to Orange for a days caching and this series was on our must do list to see what we can find of the ones that have not been archived. They were not as quick as we thought they might be but we can say we managed to get our stamp into the log of all the ones we searched for.We did enjoy this series and the different hides. Many thanks for placing these caches for our enjoyment. To save room in the log books we stamped as The Mob,Please excuse the cut and paste log but it is now hard to remember each one individually.
Day 3 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, and included Orange in our travels. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, drobbonz, for us and others to find.
We found your cache today 9 March 2024 2:25pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC drobbonz
Reperio 12:20Stayed local for todays cache, and once at GZ, the nicely hidden cache was quickly spotted. Nice to find a few different types of caches around the region. Gratias drobbonzAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
It's a lovely day apart from the cold wind. We parked near #1 and walked to this one. Liked the container. TFTC
We were here a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out parking since it is so wet by the roadside, so this time we decided to walk. We enjoyed the walk and the cache - thanks.
Second full day in Orange on travels from TAS to back ‘o Bourke and other places. Much nicer day today, so caching continues in more pleasant conditions. Odd little out of place piece of kit in the vicinity might raise suspicions to the practiced cacher. Thanks for a clever container,
Left a few for another trip but thought the home stretch would make for an easy and successful finish to my lap of the circuit…and I was right. I’ll give a fave point for the series here…and apologise for driving the wrong way. No accidents luckily.
A very enjoyable series. Pity we weren't able to cycle this track this time. TFTC drobbonz
Collecting a few caches along the way today.
Arrived and did a few emails before heading out for a few more
Thank you for this one

Parked close and very short walk to gz, unusual container for the location
Quick trip from Canberra to Orange, I have already done the previous Gnoo blas before so here we go again, probaby better doing this in reverse for Cars and even better by Bike .
thanks drobbonz

Having been up here to see midnight oil play at a winery, I guess this is an appropriate series to do. Tftc

Staying at Orange for 2 nights camped at the showgrounds.
Our 2nd day we decided on a trip to Borenore Karst what a delightful cave which normally you would have to pay to visit. Found a few other caches on our way out of town.
We returned into town to find some other caches we had DNF before or new here since our last visit.
Thankyou drobbonz for placing this cache.

Rest of the house was either sleeping or watching television so I decided to duck out to collect a few caches. The Gnoo Blas caches were a perfect run - nicely designed caches just in need of a little TLC.
Drove round the block and walked back to this one. Had an idea but was not exactly what I was expecting. Long grass made it a bit more difficult to find. As others said log is totally soaked and not able to sign.

Geokid found it straight away. Lovely scooter path. Back on scooter to the next one.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
It was a bit damp and there were lots of crawlies.
Thanks drobbonz

Easy find, TFTC. Completed this on last day of holiday. We will he driving back to Sydney tonight and I'm already dreading heading back to work.
I wondered if we needed a tool to open this one but soon discovered it wasn't necessary.
Another nice construction, thanks drobbonz.

Ended up confusing a spiders egg sack with a piece of fluff and brushed it off. In reflection I should've been a lot more scared
Had time for a quick circuit of the top half of the park before heading home.
All caches attempted were found and in good condition although we didn't attempt a couple which had a few DNFs logged recently. TFTC and the pleasant walk on a beautiful day drobbonz.

We parked near the soccer fields and walked the loop to collect the Gnoo Blas caches and a few other ones along the way. We found 14 caches altogether and only had one DNF. There was a great variety of containers and hides and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk. The whole circuit took two and half hours although we did sit by the lake for a while and had some morning tea.

Orange 2020 Day 3. I headed out for a long weekend away with Fitzy1965 & MinnieK to cache between Orange and Dubbo. We explored forests and towns and camped at Macquarie Wood. The weather was great and we managed to visit many more caches than I ever expected. The day started with packing up, then we found the remaining caches around the woods here. Lastly we finished the day by getting to as many of the Orange caches as we could in the remaining time.
We were able to do the variously replaced racetrack caches without as much drama as I had in the rain the first time.
Thanks.

fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out for a long weekend away. Basing ourselves at Macquarie Woods, we ended up visiting Orange, Parkes, Dubbo and lots of towns inbetween.
Day 3 saw us pack up camp early, finish the caches in the Woods then into Orange before heading home.
Quick find here today.

20,307. Found with minniek and albida33 during a Canberra Day Long Weekend caching meander around the Orange/Parkes/Dubbo regions.
A plan was hatched for the three of us to head up this way for some quality caching over the 3 days. Day 3 and we packed up camp before heading off to Orange for some outstanding caches there. This one is a replacement for an older cache so I'm happy to find it again !
Thanks drobbonz !!

We moved to Macquarie Woods today from Bathurst as it is such a lovely place to camp. We enjoyed our geocaching between here and Orange. So green now after the recent rain and we loved the scenery. This series was a little beauty. Thanks to drobbonz for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Found easily, great hide!! (No room for swaps) log was full and wet, didn't sign. Unfortunately I didn't have any more log paper with me.
#375. A nice quick find with meals 5. We’re enjoying picking up these new caches after doing the original series after it first came out. TFTC!
TFTC. Doing this cache on the way through town was difficult, as there was nowhere to park. We parked on the footpath and was in and out in a couple of minutes. Great hide, thanks drobbonz.
A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

Our 5 year old son was booked in for an operation at Bloomfield Health Campus (amazing staff and such great hospitality) and we were to spend a few days in Orange. We drove down from Dubbo and spent the day waiting and then finally he was in and out of the operating theatre and off to the kids ward. With a few days recovery before we could get home and not bringing the golf clubs (play more of this than geocaching these days) for the course next door i used a bit of time here and there to get a few caches while in town. Also visited a few trackables ive currently got with me.
Yes! I thought, no that's not it and then I remembered the hint and did what it said! TFTC drobbonz
Clever hide in plain sight. Thanks for placing some new caches in Orange to find. Tftc
In town and in need of a quick cache for day 5 of Streak Week.
Nice hide that was quickly spotted, signed and returned.
