An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC drobbonz!
A cool and fun day of caching around the Central Tablelands. This cache was a tricky find with lots of camo. Thanks!
This one proved to be a challenging hide as it was well-covered. We believe it is well worth a higher D rating. We were very lucky to find it!Our first full day in Orange, and a chance to do some serious caching. We had quite a number of pre-solved caches on our agenda as well as others in the area. Our journey took us through a range of different sections of the town; residential, business, retail and some great parks and wetlands areas. We encountered some good hides which we awarded favorites as well as some challenges and straightforward finds. The weather was perfect but as usual got cold all of a sudden later in the day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache drobbonz.**SKI Pair****
Catching up with some late logs.We are traveling with Geoturtle 37, Papi4506 & The Drovers to do an assault on Orange and are picking up a few caches along the way.Today we headed to Orange for a days caching and this series was on our must do list to see what we can find of the ones that have not been archived. They were not as quick as we thought they might be but we can say we managed to get our stamp into the log of all the ones we searched for.We did enjoy this series and the different hides. Many thanks for placing these caches for our enjoyment. To save room in the log books we stamped as The Mob,Please excuse the cut and paste log but it is now hard to remember each one individually.
Day 3 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today we did a lot of country driving, and included Orange in our travels. The scenery was lovely with the trees turning a multitude of different colours for winter. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped to find along the way.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, drobbonz, for us and others to find.
Nice hide. Fits in well. Gets another fav. Here with kiwisteve2 and no1gardengirl. Tftc
Quick find here. Thanks for the cache. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Adelaide to Broken HillDay two. Broken Hill to WellingtonDay three. Wellington to CowraDay four. Cowra to BathurstDay five. Bathurst to CanberraDay six. Canberra to CanberraDay seven. Canberra to QueenbeeyanDay eight. Canberra to AdelaideThe generic bit.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Reperio 09:23After bringing in the New Year last night, I grabbed the youngest and we headed out to find a cache to kickstart the geocaching New Year for 2024. We circled the area a few times before eventually turning over the cache. Nicely hidden.Gratias drobbonzAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Second full day in Orange on travels from TAS to back ‘o Bourke and other places. Much nicer day today, so caching continues in more pleasant conditions. Not confident here but spotted something not quite right here to put us right on this clever little device. thanks for another drobbonz
I was muggled out at 10, but no one around see me pretend to be a gardener at 5:30 on a Saturday. Tftc
A very nice home made container. Coords were very good. Otherwise, we may not have found it. TFTC drobbonz

Having been up here to see midnight oil play at a winery, I guess this is an appropriate series to do. Tftc
Lake Cargelligo - Orange
Staying at Orange for 2 nights camped at the showgrounds.
Our 2nd day we decided on a trip to Borenore Karst what a delightful cave which normally you would have to pay to visit. Found a few other caches on our way out of town.
We returned into town to find some other caches we had DNF before or new here since our last visit.
Thankyou drobbonz for placing this cache.

Rest of the house was either sleeping or watching television so I decided to duck out to collect a few caches. The Gnoo Blas caches were a perfect run - nicely designed caches just in need of a little TLC.
First found for the year. Circled the garden. Spotted the bong and eventually picked up the cache container. Water in the container but in this case the log is fine to sign.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
I had trouble working out what bush the hint referred to, but evenually found it.
Thanks drobbonz

Tftc drobbonz, can confirm bong still here but no deciduous bush to be seen . Cache clever hide, have a fave point
Found with kelr0cks and armybrats04. Read a couple of the last logs and boom, easy find
TFTC have found it after a bit of searching everything seems to be in good condition home-and the bong is still there
This one took far too long to find. We were a little confused by the hint but, actually, it was quite obvious.
Nice work, thanks drobbonz.
Nice work, thanks drobbonz.
Eventually found after a frustrating search. It was looking at us the whole time. Thanks drobbonz.
Log is in good order!!! I have changed the difficulty rating to 2, as some people are finding it harder than a 1.5! All ready to find.
Orange 2020 Day 3. I headed out for a long weekend away with Fitzy1965 & MinnieK to cache between Orange and Dubbo. We explored forests and towns and camped at Macquarie Wood. The weather was great and we managed to visit many more caches than I ever expected. The day started with packing up, then we found the remaining caches around the woods here. Lastly we finished the day by getting to as many of the Orange caches as we could in the remaining time.
We were able to do the variously replaced racetrack caches without as much drama as I had in the rain the first time.
Thanks.

fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out for a long weekend away. Basing ourselves at Macquarie Woods, we ended up visiting Orange, Parkes, Dubbo and lots of towns inbetween.
Day 3 saw us pack up camp early, finish the caches in the Woods then into Orange before heading home.
Took us a bit to find but find we did.

20,306. Found with minniek and albida33 during a Canberra Day Long Weekend caching meander around the Orange/Parkes/Dubbo regions.
A plan was hatched for the three of us to head up this way for some quality caching over the 3 days. Day 3 and we packed up camp before heading off to Orange for some outstanding caches there. This one is a replacement for an older cache so I'm happy to find it again !
Thanks drobbonz !!

We moved to Macquarie Woods today from Bathurst as it is such a lovely place to camp. We enjoyed our geocaching between here and Orange. So green now after the recent rain and we loved the scenery. This series was a little beauty. Thanks to drobbonz for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Our last find for the day. A lot more difficult this one and was about to give up when we struck success. Congratulations drobbonz for the variety of geocaches you have come up with. Have now managed to complete all the finds around the Bloomfield circuit.
#377. This one took a little bit searching with meals 5 but just as we were about to leave I had another thought and made the well camouflaged find. We’re enjoying picking up these new caches after doing the original series after it first came out. TFTC!
A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

A quick find, thanks to the hint, but maybe I would have found it without the hint anyway. TFTC drobbonz.
TFTC drobbonz. Finding some of the Gnoo Blas caches today that are missing from my list of finds.
