We are spending a couple of days in the lower wheatbelt and staying overnight here in Narrogin. Out for a morning run to grab a few more caches and this was the first one for the morning.A nice quick find. The container is looking worse for wear and I needed to empty some water out todayTFTC thenitrousninja
Today Taurus Six and I have decided our geocaching plan for the day is to head to the Narrogin area and collect the outstanding caches that we never got around to getting during the WAGB event in June . We did collect lots that weekend but there were still lots more to get be time we left. Today is the first opportunity we have had to get back to Narrogin, since then. It was a lovely drive over this morning from Bunbury. Spring has definitely sprung and the canola fields are looking particularly sensational at the moment. There were also lots of beautiful wild flowers in full bloom in many of the places we visited which was a bonus for the day. The other bonus was having a lovely hearty breakfast at the Williams Wool Shed, this is up there with our favourite eating spots. All in all a great days geocaching and exploring .
This is our twenty first cache find of the day along with the near by Adventure Lab . We enjoyed the stroll through the bush to get to gz. The ants were rather friendly so needed to be a bit careful. Once at gz quickly found cache. The container has certainly seen better days and is in urgent need of maintenance . Thanks for the cache thenitrousninja .

SirFancy and I planned to meet up nearby to head into this cache and ran into fratra too so all walked in together and found the cache soon after arriving.
The container here is broken with large sections of the lid missing with the contents starting to get quite damp.
Will need some attention soon.

Sunday at WAGB started with a MICKS Crew breakfast before heading to the first event of the day at Yilliminning Rock before heading back into Narrogin to checkout the airfield and show the kids some of the places of my childhood.
After a short lunch break I walked through town collecting mainly lab caches and a few others that crossed my path.
Enjoyed chatting to a few people about caching before a great meal with friends.
Once all the kids were down decided to race out to Williams to pick up a couple of new caches before heading home to rest up before heading home tomorrow.
After the late night run I’d accumulated 10 finds, 40 adventure labs, 2 events attended and 0 DNF’s.

In Narrogin for WA Goes Big 2023. Wow 10years!
Woo Hoo! WAGB is off and running. A couple of quick caches before heading to the launch event. Snuck out in the middle to attempt 2 nearby multi's then dash back for our shot at the Puzzle Room (what amazement & fun) Back to camp for some lunch before a few town caches then off to CITO and the treasure hunt, yep we did not find any treasure
Then a quick catchup at the Night Sesh before heading indoors to keep warm and prepare for another epic day tomorrow!

Find 26 of 40 on a perfect day - loads of excellent caches and lots of mountain bike riding between them, on great tracks - covered 45km today finding every unfound physical cache and AdLab in Narrogin town, apart from the two fishing caches.
Rode around the edge of Griffo's circuit then back up through the middle - carefully - against the published direction. No collisions ensued. The rock gardens were quite tricky gong uphill but loads of fun going back down. In between, a quick find, but the container is on its last legs and the log is damp as a result.

Camped at the Railway Dam in Narrogin on my way to Hyden and beyond and thought I'd pick up a couple of the local smiley's. I like to do my GC'ing on foot to get the exercise, but this one really got the cardio working. Found this one at 10:32 this morning. TNLNSL TFTC thenitroninja
We popped over from our geovan to grab this cache before returning to make dinner.
What a strange little area, those houses and refridgerate shipping containers look like they are drug houses from some tv show

Visiting town and surrounds for a few days of geo caching and generally just enjoying the area. We enjoyed the walk to gz and the cache was a nice easy find when we arrived. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Staying in Narrogin for a few days with Gma allinaday. We had a lot of fun exploring the area and all the other little towns along the way. We found some nice historical sites where I learnt a bit about how life was a hundred odd years ago. We explored old buildings and enjoyed some long walks around lakes where I learnt a lot about salinity and what is being done to help reduce the salt on the land so more trees don't die. Thank you to all the cache owners for putting caches out for us to find.
Spent the night in town as I needed a break from home even managed a night at the trots last night haven't been to the trots in 30+ years.
Now grabbing some caches in this area before quickly heading to Wagin then back home.
Had a little walk to this one once we found a decent easier terrain that I could manage. Made Mr dimor come too as head height for some people is way above me but this one I could see and grab, woohoo
A nice easy find at GZ, cache in good condition
