We called into Narrandera as we head north to central Queensland for a few weeks. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Travelling_Sister for another in this enjoyable series.
Arrived here today and thought we should get a cache. Everywhere you go there is a link to Mary McKillop
Thanks for placing this little cache. I was camped on the nearby Brewery Flat for a few days on the way to motorhome rallies in Mount Gambier and Penola. The GPS was little flaky, and I had to resort to the hint, but the prize was soon discovered.
Pasing through with geo van in tow we stopped at van friendly caches and this was we found.A quick find at GZ, cache and contents in good condition. Many thanks for your cache placement here.
I was charging our EV at 8:30 in the evening and noticed that there was a cache not too far away. I went for a walk in the dark and cold but discovered that I didn't have mobile service. That's vodaphone for you. The map was still active, so I managed to walk to the cache and find it without a description or hints, etc. Now, back to the EV charging. We're travelling from Adelaide to Coolangatta. Thanks for the cache. Mary Mackillop really worked all over the country.
Found with the kids on our last day of our central NsW tour. Alas its time to go home. Thanks for the cache
After spending an awesome weekend at Lameroo for the JLWE , we are taking the long way home, collecting counties and any other caches of interest. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Thanks for the cache. The hint gives it away. A good history lesson too. We'll done.
A short drive today from Hay to Narrandera, arriving around lunchtime so we had a chance to look round town and do some caching. To us it seems to be a quite old town with plenty of impressive buildings and a fine piece of art on the water tower.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Travelling Sister.**SKI Pair****
Muggle sister found this one had to get a taller person to retrieve signed and replaced tftc
#6512.Lady Thrips had to be in Narrandera for a meeting, so I had to keep the kids busy for a while. It was pretty easy to fill the time with some great caches. This was the second cache for the day. It turned out to be a quick and easy find on the day. TFTC!
Found with Mogni, Quick find. Needed a find in this LGA, new NSW LGA for me. And finding this series in NSW starts.Found with Mogni. Myself and mogni are headed off to canberra on the " I missed the Capital GeoBash Mega " holiday, since last minute family problems came in to play and we had to adjust our plans by a few weeks. On the way over we targeted multi's, wherigo's and puzzles to make sure we had 25 in each or at least close to that total ( or more ) as possible, getting as many new New South Wales LGA's as possible, the 17th most favourite point NSW cache and every cache size in New South Wales. In the ACT it was getting 2 of the 5 oldest letterboxes, oldest wherigo in Australia, 2nd oldest earthcache ( with a side trip to get the oldest earthcache of course ), and ACT oldest cache too. I also hosted a CITO and planned on getting every different cache type i could and eevry different cache size as well. I also needed 9 more virtuals this trip to get my virtual count over 100. Finally canberra was far enough away from from house to complete the well aged well travelled cacher 0 to 1000 kms with a cache every 10 km's ( i only need 7 more caches to complete )Leaving the ACT it was going via Victoria to get there last active web cam cache and slowly getting a total of 20 finds in each LGA i passed through if i had enough time plus also hosting a CITO in Victoria as well. A busy 11 days. Trust me by the end of the holiday you would have thought the 6 meter ladder weighed more than 13 kg's to amount of times it was used or carried up hills or over creeks. If your cache was found with a broken container/lid it was replaced or if the log was full it was replaced or a extra log if the container was big enough ( except for nano's, do your own maintenance on nano's.
We found your cache today 9 April 2024 11:42am , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC Travelling Sister and GLISS!

I love the Mary MacKillop series of caches, as they are usually easy, which is perfect when travelling through the country towns towing a caravan. I spotted this cache, but being on the short side, it took a while to retrieve.
With Featherwaite we're on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Narrandera and Day 2 we arrived in Canberra.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC
Found with Team Waldron on our way to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Thanks for the cache Travelling Sister!
As our convey of three vehicles headed across from SA through VIC & NSW, we are focusing on collecting some LGAs before heading to the ACT Mega. To save space on all log sheets, we signed as 5 for QLD.All caches we found were in good condition, and with the odd wet logbook being replaced with write in the rain paper.Thank you to all cache owners for placing these hides for the benefit of the geocaching community ??

Reperio 14:03We headed towards Nathalia today, and managed to stop by a few caches along the way. We were fortunate today that we found a good park right next to GZ as there were plenty of cars around. Quickly located the cache, signed and put it back. We had just completed the AdLab in the Cemetery and this Mary MacKillop showed up as we made our way back to our accomodation for the night. We were a little disconcerted about the location, and then realised the significance! SL at 6.04pm Thats enough caching for today - time for some more sustenance. #10,429 TFTC a travelling Sister and GLISS!
I always keep an eye out for Mary MacK caches when I'm on the road and was pleased to see one here in Narrandera where I'm overnighting tonight after a 700km slog from the Central Coast today. Pleasingly, it was a quick find in the first place I looked. Thanks for another in this series.
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there.I had a DNF here in June last year when the cache was missing. It was a quick find here today at its new location - a much more sensible spot in relation to the school. Thanks Travelling Sister for the cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
Konie and I are heading south on an adventure. We stopped by this cache and made a quick find. With our names added to the log and everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC
Heading south today with Selva Girls and grabbed a few caches along the way and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and all returned as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for me and others to enjoy. TFTC Travelling Sister
On a road trip and caching holiday with CaptainKirky,. On this part of our trip we are starting to head back to Brisbane, grabbing some caches along the way including this one, thanks for placing this cache it was a good one
Geohubby (GeoTigerAce) and I are headed off on a 4 week holiday from Brisbane heading to Canberra, Parkes, Katoomba, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Dubbo, and Coonabarabran as our main stops, with lots of side stops along the way planned. A much needed road trip to take in the sites and spend some time away in nature.Over the course of our 4 weeks I wanted to focus on Australia's 'oldest' caches, and caches of interest (e.g., iconic locations, interesting locations, lots of favourite points, and places I have never been) as well as hitting my next milestone (#600). It has been a wonderful trip and we have seen so much, and spent a lot of time caching and exploring little places of interest. Thanks to all of the cache owners for maintaining these caches and bringing us to beautiful places on our travels, and challenging us to keep on looking at the world just a little bit differently. Lots of memories have been made.Day 24: TripCache #119: After arriving into Narrandera very late last night we are back on the road again today collecting caches and heading towards our next destination. Another Mary MacKillop cache - couldn't leave it there without logging it. Thanks for the caches.
DAY 1
After much planning, saving and extra mods to the 4WD we are finally on our way to Longreach to take part in the QOGM festivities. We have just over a week to get there, so a route was planned to encompass uncharted LGA’s as we zig zag our way through NSW, as well as a slight detour to Coffs Harbour to visit family. Will we make it in time? Who knows, but we are going to give it a good shot.
Always one for grabbing any Mary MacKillop caches on our travels, this was a must as we toured Narrandera. Lucky for us it wasn’t quite school pickup time so we were able to get a park and make a quick find before the onslaught of parents picking up their children arrived.
Thanks Travelling Sister for the placement.

Travelling from Southern Highlands to the Mundi Mundi bash.
Usually we bypass spots like Narrandera, but we have some extra time this trip, so we’re checking some out.
This was a nice park and grab, although my vertically challenged self needed a bit of help from a lovely muggle who lives nearby.

Day three of setting off north with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Narrandera, and just had a lazy day caching here.
I thought we had most of the Mary MacKillop caches completed, but they keep popping up all over the place! She certainly got around.
Thanks, Robmc.

#21168. Day 3 of our escape into NSW. We started the day with a long walk to Talbot Water Fall from the boat ramp and back again and then drove around town gathering up a few caches and having a look at a few sights.
This is certainly not the first of this series we have found and probably won't be the last. Took a little while before Rob rerieved it from its hiding place.
Thanks Travelling Sister

On my way home now after spending couple nights camping near Condo. Weather is the opposite to my drive up here, its cold wet and windy. Decided to go a different way home, via Narrandera and grab a few caches along the way.
Quick find here, felt very exposed along this busy road. Thanks for the history. TFTC!

Anymules and I made our way east through New South Wales collecting caches.
