Checked over both possible trees. Pulled out all the foliage to make sure it was not being missed. Found the frogs on the first tree but no cache in hand.
Possibly check it’s still there? Same as last person, searched 3 trees with no luck.
This one was straight forward.
Once more we are on the road today continuing our journey north. Today we are leaving Bowen and making our way towards Town#ville, stopping as we are able to grab any accessible caches that pop up on our way.
Thanks go to all the local, and the few not so local, CO’S for placing the caches for us to find. Without you we would have no pursuit to take part in. We appreciate your efforts, and thank you for your time.

Found it with pippahicup. I haven't been to this park in probably 30 years. Looking good.
On the third leg of a GC trip with Drennostar, on our way to a wedding. Today we are heading to Townsville.
Today my GPS decided to lead me astray, and for the first 10 minutes we were looking in a completely different spot until Drennostar thought to try the coordinates in his device. Typical!
Once we got to the right GZ, the cache was easily found.

Quick stop between Mackay and Townsville. No luck even when I sent the kids up the tree for a look.
5/4/21 Found it. Travelling back to Mackay and grabbing some caches on the way. TFTC SL Had to search for a bit but then found. Log wet, added new right in rain paper
Grey Nomads travelling around Australia - more recently, just Queensland, and of late, Airlie Beach to Ayr & Home Hill. Arrived Home Hill, planted the geo-van and set off for a drive around HH and Ayr with my Garmin showing me the way. Some we found, some we didn't.
Atrocious mosquitoes nearly carried me away. Cache owner intervention required - 4 did not finds in a row. Maybe it has been carried away by the mossies.

Passing through on our way to Townsville. Stopped here to eat lunch and have a skate! Tftc
Inevitably on a long trip when many geocaches are being found, some get missed. Unfortunately, at the time, this was one of them. So, although out of chronological order, I am logging them today for simplicity. So my apologies for the generic log and the out of date sequence.
Our trip commenced on Friday November 28th and concluded on Tuesday December 22nd. During that time, we visited caches in Maryborough, Childers, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Sarina, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville and Cairns, with other places in between like Proserpine, Home Hill, Ayr, Ingham to name just a few, with many wonderful single stop caches along the way.
Our party consisted of myself, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and on occasion, youngoldfella.
Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC, Newcacher#2.

T4T$ Picked up TB. We were looking for this one in the dark last week without success, so left it till daylight on our way home.
Found by Mary and David at 11:00. We appreciated the shade and the green grass. Wonderful memorials, and the story of the LTCOL touched us. David's Dad served at Tobruk and in New Guinea, and Mary's Dad was a POW at Changi. Our thanks to Newcacher#2.
In line with the hint - I like Geocaches. Alas this looks like it is the last of the finds in Home Hill, Ayr and surrounds for me. Thanks for all the new hides. Has been helpful for my ongoing streak mission. Have a FP for your good work and the climb i had to have, whilst not completely necessary, it gave me a better overview and honed in within seconds. Cheers.
After a little climb we found our cache. Beautiful spot for a weekend adventure.
A wander from the main street brought me to this neat park.
Plenty to see around the place,
and even a chance to find a cache
