Went to do a cache check, but it seems to have gone - at least it wasn't where Juzmac found it. The original hiding tree had been removed a while back, so we won't persevere.
on our 3rd try,we found it,with wife Tena and new little girl Trinity,10 days old,was an easy find this time, thanx a lot...Steve Tena and Trinity

Ninth of fourteen cache finds to the west of Melbourne, in company with acts2youthgroup. We pulled up adjacent to GZ, and started looking. Initially, we found nothing, and I was suspicious about the large mound of sawdust nearby--it looked like a tree had been removed and the stump grubbed out. While I was wondering whether the cache had been in the tree, Acts2 came up with the cache at 1150. We could hear some car being put through its paces in the distance, but we saw nothing of it. Thanks to maccamob for the cache.

Twelve of twenty three cache finds for the day, in company with Dak Emu.
We were looking for something a little harder, Dak even turned over a rock that revealed several nasty looking insects. We looked at the previous logs who all said easy. Well a little walk to the right and the cache was found, just sitting in plain view, no rocks or stumps. We heard a car being driven flat out around the track. Thanks Maccamob.

A nice easy find on our way to Sovereign Hill. The RugRat had a friend with him who thoroughly enjoyed his first caching find.
Took hippo and emery board and left 2 new cars!

On the way home we could not resist any caches that presented themselves along the way. We had only coordinates and no paper work, and it was dark.
Thank goodness for regular caches [^].
After searching for 3 minutes it was Mr.Coffee who rose up to the occasion
TNLN, Thanks Maccamob this was a tad bit easier than the last cache we did.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the Macca'd out Clan.

Visiting the area during the Avalon Airshow, and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get in a little interstate caching . There was a new car zooming around the track and I felt decidedly conspiratorial lurking about with a camera. I was more than just a little relieved to have logged the cache and not have any of the cars that zoomed by, come to a sudden, screeching halt and bundle me up as an industrial spy [B)] . Took a small cake of soap and left a Hippo. Thanks Maccamob
Just a note as we've already logged this one.
We drove past this one with the geo-grandkids on a treasure hunt outing. The grandies had a little trouble finding this one 'cause they're not tall enough.
Sorry, can't remember the swaps.

Fourth find this arvo. Definately getting the hang of this now. Went out with geojack (You know--my mate with the dodgy GPS now working fine thanks to 2+4,) and 2 relatives --ie son and daughter in law. This one was easy. Took a Lizard and left purple nail file.
Found at 12:30pm. The first of eleven finds on our tour of Lara and Geelong. An easy drive by cache as per the description but we will still need to ponder the cache name as it wasn't too obvious from the location.
Thanks Maccamob from D,H,K,H & A B-A. Took a toy soldier. Left a gold soldier.

Located this one, courtesy of EuDes and the GeoCamira.
Took: Sticky lizard (inadvertently - didn't realise that EuDes had placed in in the cache approximately 4 seconds beforehand!)
Left: Smiley-face balloon.
Interesting spot, maccamob - thanks.

Found this one quite quickly at 10:50 with SSMC4 on the way to AWG walk 35. What a great hide but alas, no new cars to be seen today. Just as well, it probably would have made the GeoCamira feel sick anyway I guess .
Took a frog, left a sticky gecko. Thanks maccamob.

With the proximity to the Ford testing ground you could almost smell the fuel, at least the Orange Beast (GT) did.
I thought I would lose her as she felt so close to home.
Good hide but relatively easy find for this "drive by"
Took Chinese Coin
Left the Burnt Orange Beads (colour matching the JaffaGT to at least commemorate how close we were to all that Grunt)
Many Thanks to Maccamob

The heavens again open up on us as we approached out 4th cache for the day.
G & J decided to stay in the car while P was forced out into the rain to search for the cache.
Pity father doesn't have the same brains as the children!
Some searching finally revealed the cache and a quick dash back to the car allowed us to explore the contents and make a log in the book.
We swapped a Hair Clip and a Thermometer for a Donkey and a Frog.

Found this one with Vombatus, on our way home from the Geelong Cacheopoply. There was a car broken down about 60m from GZ but it was not the ladies from the other log, must be a bad spot for older cars. #2 found this one before we had even got out of the car. She even brought it back to the car so we didn't have to move, easiest cache ever.
Took Terridactal (big old bird)
Left Key ring thermometer

Found it with ease. There wasn't any new car activity, but we did help out a couple of ladies who had broken down. They almost caught us retrieving the cache.

Found it at 14:55. We were staying with friends in Lara and after a trip into Geelong we headed back down this way for a few caches. This was the first of four for the day.
A nice easy find although getting here had a few dramas. Whilst driving along a wind storm picked up a Corrigated Iron Water tank, (that was empty) and sitting in a paddock. Blew it straight accross the road narrowly missing all the traffic up ahead and finally coming to rest in someones yard. (Much to the horror of the horses in the adjoining paddock who bolted). Some times it pays to get stuck at a red light.
Any way, we quickly did the swaps and we were on our way.
Took: Keyring
Left: Green car (it seemed appropriate)

Found this one at 3:00pm, after spending a little time at the You Yangs (and finding the 'Library Stash' GC4CD3).
Yet another quick find by Mrs Drewscoot (Allison) - It's getting to become a habbit that she spots the spot before I can even confirm the position - Oh well, I guess that's why I bring her with me!
No sounds of cars other than the traffic on the road, which was heavier than I would have expected for such a relatively remote location, but plenty of noise from the Cicadas (excuse the spelling) - OR - maybe that's Ford's new engine they were testing
Took little plastic shell and left small magnifier.
Cheers all,
Drewscoot & Mrs.

Realised I forgot to log this after comparing notes with Spindoc Bob. Better late than never.
This wasn't on the list of our planned caches during the 'Dragon's Pearl and Spindoc Bob Melton-Werribee cache raid'. As we were returning home it was obvious this was VERY close by. We hadn't studied or seen the cache on the website, but decided to took the gamble. Dragon's Pearl spotted the hiding place - she's thinking like a cacher now. TNLN. A successful 6/7 cache raid in three hours.
Ruff3216 and I found this one at 700pm could hear a new car screaming around we took a fish magnet and left a tazo spinner

Found at 1050, a nice easy one. Swapped a goodluck charm magnet for a plastic bear. Thanks for the easy find maccamob.
Found at 10:50, with Muzza and Kiwideb. This is an excellent one where we only needed to cross the road and lay our hands on the cache, although Kiwideb beat me to it. Thanks maccamob. Swapped a Japanese fortune cat fridge magnet for a kangaroo pin.
Been a long time between now and finding my first and only cache so thought I would get out on such a nice morning. Found within a couple of minutes of driving up. Nothing exchanged.
We were looking for a place to hide our new cache and stubbled upon this one. +four weren't with us as we were on our anniversary date.

This was Adagoesforth's first find (not neccesarily the first attempt at geocaching). We enjoyed the drive and the subsequent search for the cache.

The second last for the day. Not too hard to find. The nearby testing track is quite large and I'm sure a mate of mine will agree as he is the one who built that fence that keeps us out. No exchange. I think I'll have to but a selection of small goodies to fit in the smaller caches. Thanks maccamob

This was my 11th and final cache for the day. As I was running a little bit late, I wanted something nice, quick and easy to find. And thats exactly what this cache was. I spotted it from a mile away travelling at a million miles an hour in my car. (If you didn't realise it, that was a very slight exaggeration).
It was rather obvious, even from a distance, but I was all cached out and very happy for it to just about fall into my lap. I logged my visit, (no swap made), jumped back into my cachemobile, and headed off into the sunset, ready to cache another day. Even as I write this, I discover that Maccamob have laid another two caches today.
My especial thanks to the Maccamob and JoMac family for a fantastic days caching, 5 by JoMac and 6 by Maccamob.
