Found today. Had fallen down. Thankyou to the person who warned about the spider!!
Was at the park with friends kids and seen a easy one to grab. Unfortunately cache is missing. We found the place it’s supposed to be but wasn’t there anymore unfortunately. Hopefully we can get it next time
I was doing part of and adventure lab about Ben Chifley and I noticed this cache was not too far away. At GZ the clever cache was found after a bit of a hunt. This lovely pqrk is a great spot to hide a cache. Bathurst has some excellent parkland.
Came to explore Bathurst for a couple of days and went to the playground. While kids enjoyed the rides we looked at caches and voila - our first find in Bathurst! TFTC
House sitting in Bathurst, of course, includes Geocaching!
Third time here only one set of Muggles. OK that's good enough.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 5:22 PM on January 5, 2023. TFTC, pmoorey2

Loved this one!! Some people are so clever nowadays when it comes to geocaching. Beautiful day here in Bathurst. Nice easy find TFTC
Absolutely brilliant cache. I was baffled for a while here until I starting playing around in the playground. Log is also full. TFTC
Very excited to have found this one today and can appreciate the number of favourite points awarded! Great camouflage. TFTC!
A very nice hide. Very accurate coords helped us find this sneaky hide. TFTC pmoorey2
After weeks of puzzling finally in the area to collect on my work. Start at Cowra with a Parkrun at 8 and then work my way to Bathurst. Also picking up the traditionals of course. Day started wet, but that doesn't stop me. Carcoar on the way back to Bathurst and then detouring to pick up an AL

Found after a feel around. Had to shake out the resident huntsman ! Deserves a favourite point from us.
NOTE to current finders: Despite the construction going on around the area, the cache is still there and gettable
Very sneaky, looks like it wasnt put back quite as I assume it was intended. Interesting to learn how the hiding spot would've been originally placed.

Looks like the cache location is in repair so another DNF bring the total to around 10 sad
No luck today… not prepared to go inside the construction fence but tried everything I could reach. TFTC
We weren't game to cross the worksite fence. Is it within reach from outside the worksite fence?
Back today and made an easy find. Spoke to cache friend Freebob and he assured me it was to be found. He proved correct! Not sure how I missed it last time TFTC
No luck today .......... there is some work going on at this point which did not help
Geokids played on playgrounds while
We were a bit concerned as GZ is under construction. Geomums looked without kids for a change. Thanks for the clever hide.
Great to find such an interesting cache. Well done pmoorey2 to make us all think. TFTC

#7194 Last day of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are heading home, leaving Bathurst and heading down south via the AL on Mt Panaorama. Warm clear conditions again today, unlike north of the border
A well constructed and hidden cache. We were a bit worried this playground might be busy in school holidays, but no problem at gz today.
Thanks pmoorey2

Tftc jpmoorey, took a bit of looking but read a few logs and started a new mindset. Very clever. Fave point
Got this one on such a busy day!!
Over in Bathurst region trying to pick up 25 unique cache D/T ratings in a day. It has been such an epic adventure trying to secure them all - we have certainly travelled far and wide!! Glad for all the prep and planning before hand and the few back up caches we included in the list, or we never would have made it.

Outstanding hide!! The thought that has been put into the construction of the container and the attention to detail to ensure it camouflages perfectly with the environment is excellent. Coords are spot on which definitely helped.
Well done pmoorey2, hope to see more of your caches around.

Caching with Key_Tat and Viper_101 during our Xmas break in Bathurst... well this one had us scratching our heads for a bit, but once seen it was pretty obvious... great construction and worth a fav point... TFTC.
Found with Key_Tat and Tatt2squared on our Christmas holidays visiting family for Xmas... Pretty tricky, fun hide... thanks for placing.
Caching with Tatt2squared and Viper_101, while visiting for Christmas... this one had us searching everywhere as the clue was misleading to begin with, but spot on when we found it... TFTC.
We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Bathurst for a 9 day holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback Camper Trailer at the Bathurst NRMA Big4 Caravan Park, and plan to collect some caches & Adventure Labs in the Bathurst and surrounding areas.
Today we went for a drive up to Abercrombie, completing the cache trail along the Macquarie River walking path, then back down to Bathurst town centre via West Bathurst, collecting caches along the way. We ended the day with a few caches at Macquarie Vale. This was the 2nd of 30 finds for the day (day 6), and 92nd find of the holiday.
Arrived at GZ and checked all the obvious things, then checked some less obvious things, and it was CIH. We have a very similar cache to this, so it was easy to spot for us. Signed the log and then replaced as found TNLN. Worth a Favourite point for the work that has gone into creating this cache. The playground structures were also quite interesting. TFTC pmoorey2.

Very clever camo! Took us about 15 minutes of staring at only metal things.
Definitely worthy of a fave point.

Day 3
With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild. Our intention was to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area.
We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure. Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.
Finished with the TRLT trail for the day as it was now dark and pretty cold so we decided to hit some town ones instead.
Nice camo for this one well done!
Thanks for the hide pmoorey2 and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.

With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
We decided to grab a few town caches before heading back to our accommodation. FFLL#1 made simple work of the find at this one !
Thanks for the hide pmoorey2 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 1. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.
We had to wait until quite late for the crowds to decline, but with the area to ourselves we were able to locate this cache today.
Thanks for the cache pmoorey2

20,794. Found during a welcome June Long Weekend caching run with minniek and albida33.
After 2 months of being in Lockdown it was great that travel restrictions in NSW have been relaxed allowing non-essential travel (ie Caching) to restart. We decided that a run up around Bathurst to try to avenge a few previous DNFs was in order. A very successful trip with 13 previous DNFs crossed off. This cache was 'new' for us, and we made a nice quick find at GZ.

With COVID-19 restrictions eased so that we can travel within our state, fitzy_1965, albida33 and I headed into the Bathurst region for a long-awaited caching weekend away to turn as many DNF's into smilies as possible and collect any unfound caches inbetween.
We had sussed this one out earlier in the day but there were too many kids. So we waited until dusk to find just one family left. They were very pre-occupied so it gave us the opportunity to search freely. Albida eventually spied the sneaky hide.

Took longer than I suspected but got it in the end. Simple and nice set up. Tftc
Over from Perth on work, so while in Bathurst I've spent a bit of time each day grabbing a couple of caches.
