Today is the second day of our extra long weekend for Taurus Six and I . We are staying in the Serpentine / Jarrahdale area . It is windy yet still quite warm and it is a sunny day the rain has gone away at least for now . Our aim for today is to explore around the Serpentine Dam area then do a circuit back up through to Jarrahdale , the bush around here is beautiful . The views from the escarpment are particularly impressive. There is also birds life everywhere which always adds to the days enjoyment . The bush looks and smells fresh and alive due to the recent rains and all and all another fabulous day of exploring and geocaching in what is a new area for us . This is our twenty seventh cache find of the day along this fabulous stretch of back road. We pulled off the road here near gz. The road just happened to be very busy at this point with muggles coming from both directions. Once in the bush the cache was quickly located . Thanks for the cache find .
My final find for the day and a good start to the series. Scratched my head a bit here before finding the sneaky bugger. TFTC!
Pulled off the road and walked over to GZ, spotted the cover quickly and MrB grabbed the cache out. Finding myself with a free Saturday afternoon, I asked the geo-kids who was interested in an adventure into the hills to search for geocaches. MrB agreed, so we gathered our supplies, decided on a destination, and set off. We chose Jarrahdale to attempt some of the Civilisation series and headed out the door.MrB slept most of the way, and as we passed through Mundijong, I grew a bit nervous because the sky had darkened considerably since we left home. However, my worries were unfounded; when we arrived in town, there was only a slight drizzle that cleared up for the duration of our hunt. After attempting a couple of caches in town, we headed toward the dam to collect the Tribes branch of the series. As the light faded and we started feeling hungry, we turned back home, having found 15 caches and 1 DNF. Thanks go to muskcat83 for placing and maintaining the Traditional cache Civilisation - Tribe Series - The Sumerians for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 15:30 on 25/5/2024.This is find number 8945 for me.
First find of the day, nice and quick.
Headed out today to clean up some more of these numerous amazing Civs series. Hubby played the PC version of Civs for years and can picture exactly what each cache would be.... and wasn't disappointed!
Love the effort that has gone into each and every one of these..... always a fan of a themed series!
1st find of 39 with only 2 DNFs of the Tech series, looking forward to coming back for more!
Thank you muskcat83 and janssej for placing Civilisation - Tribe Series - The Sumerians for us and others to enjoy!

Out with fellow Geos WA KA Team. A beautiful Autumn day for Geocaching. Thanks for the Cache.
Out for an afternoon caching with Tiger Rose WA Oz. A cool day but great caching weather to be out in the bush. A mixed bag of success but found enough to interpret the final.
Thanks to the team for putting this together and maintaining the series.
A quick find for our first of the day

It’s been awhile since we grabbed any of this series but we were in this are grabbing a few caches and couldn’t resist grabbing a few of your civilisation series. First off I love this game, which makes the series so much better and I love the way you do something for each cache that relates to the name. Our gps had us walking in circles but soon had your cache in hand. We made our mark on your log and returned your cache back to where it lives. TFTC muskcat83 & janssej
Out with axell33 and the geopups, we watch out for them. A great day with wild stormy rain and warm sunshine as we go along. The bush so fresh and clean I just love it here! We have a few of this series so while caching nearby we wanted to get a few more. Aside from caching, our other favourite thing to do is play board games with our muggle loved ones! We will finish it one day. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
Found this one in the rain. There were hardly anyone on the road here today.
My biggest day of geocaching to date. 52 finds in total and a couple of DNF’s. I also cracked my 1000th find, so I am happy about this. I focused on jinta29’s Stephen King series, Mundlimup trail and some of the Civilisation series. The weather went from a lovely autumn morning to torrential rain. I didn’t think I was going to get my 50 finds.TFTC(s)

Hi there muskcat83, janssej. While out on the road today we found this cache at 12:19PM after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. I've had this on my list for quite some time, but was in the area today. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to muskcat83, janssej for this cache - our find 8699 and the 3rd of 3 finds for the day.

Teamed up with richlink and Everlasting to do the S series and the Civilisation New Dawn series and a few other caches in the area. It was a freezing, blustery day complete with rain and hail. But nothing dampened our enthusiasm, we had a great day. Thanks to all the CO's for contributing to our fun today.
Accompanied with iluvtrekking and Richlink for the day,
We had a good fun - search and found and signed the log as EV + ILT + RL. [^]
The weather - 4 season sunny, shower, rain and hail while we search the caches - nothing stop us.
Loved the object at each - some make me a good smile.. [^]
Wild flowers so pretty - all different colour type
Thanks muskcat83 for the cache and hunt.

Yay no rain at present and first find of the day with iluvtrekking and Everlasting.
Half day trip with familysteiner to get out and about in the nice spring weather. Tftc
Out with Deefa71 to turn some blue faces yellow and grab a few of the newer Civilisationcaches. TFTC
After a recent trip out this way to pick up the new caches, we decided to return and collect the last few remaining caches that we had yet to pick up...this cache was one (for some reason) that we had missed on our many adventures in this forest. Happy to finally have it as a smiley now! Cheers and TFTC.

Decided to head out with the hubby and grab the latest civilisation caches. Happy to say all caches were quickly found with good co-ords TFTC muskcat83
After completing the wonder series and having refreshed the geokids with an ice cream and the adults with a much needed coffee we decided we still had time to squeeze some more caches in so we headed for the Dam to try our luck with the wherigo. On our way we noticed this new cache and made a pit stop to quickly sign the log and then we off to our next stop. Thanks for this cache.
Out and about with I C Nothing avenging some DNFs from the Wonder series and saw this new one for the strobe series that we have already completed. TFTH!
Headed down to Jarrahdale to pickup a few caches in particular the new civilisation caches that we published a couple of days ago.
Had some good fun and enjoyed negotiating the ruts in the road.
Finished the little run with grabbing tree people 1 and blue rock, which provided a neat view of the surrounding area.
Thanks to the COs for the days fun.

We came out to find a cache nearby that we missed last time. This one was a new one on the way through so we thought we should grab it.
We felt confident when we noticed something out of place. It felt a bit like a biblical scene moving it and revealing the item underneath.
Thanks for the quick stop and rummage.

We were at the other side of Perth..... the very Northern side collecting a few caches when the emails starting coming through, the decision was made and we aborted our plans and began the journey down the freeway..... we figured we had nothing to lose. Well over an hour later we approached our first GZ and began the hunt, it was not too long before we had a cache in hand with a blank log book, what were the chances we would claim the {*FTF*} after such a journey. Thanks for the cache muskcat83, we enjoyed venturing back down in this territory TFTC
