This one got the better of me… knew I shouldn’t attempt Duck hunting without Hawkeye or Lonewolf
I’ll be back
I’ll be back
The better half and I had Mistraluna visiting for a day so we went out hunting duck caches with her. This was one of the caches that we hadn't done before so it was an interesting find after a bit of a search. Log signed and cache returned as we found it.
Thanks duck 43 for placing this cache for us to find.

We came with Geokids and we really struggled a bit to find it - then realized who the cache creator was so knew that we really had to put our thinking caps on. Glad to come away with a smile for our map. Cache is in good condition and log is ready for all the names. TFTC
LIke previous logger, turned every rock and looked in every cranny to no avail
Teamed up with ullyssia to find a few caches in the area today but we couldn't find this one. We searched around a bit but we had an audience (people nearby sitting on their camping chair in the rain...) and the rain was unrelenting so we cut the search short. Thank you for the challenge duck 43.
No luck for us here today. Hard to search when people are sitting in the rain nearby counting things. Couldn't figure out what though.
Pulled the rocks, pulled the reeds and pulled my hair out trying to find this but no luck
Now how did you get the idea to use *that* for a container? Any muggles passing by only saw us looking at birds through my binoculars, cormorants and darters - no chickens. TFTC, found with Tank_Squad.
All good here after previous fail..cache and log in great condition..what a great view tftc
Sneaky sneaky, was looking near the wrong reeds at first then on the way back decided to give it another look
Another duck43 dnf. Even with a pretty big hint! Always challenging. My favourite caches
20 mins here (again) with nudges from two previous finders but Nada. Thanks anyway:(
Found it despite the tide being in. Made for a lovely cool paddle on a warm day. The cache has had water infiltrate over time which has resulted in the log being unsignable. Needs maintenance. Photo sent to CO as proof of find. Thanks for a fab hunt.
Another great cache here, luckily I found it rather quickly compared to other Duck caches. The container however, has come unattached from its 'holder' and is tricky to retrieve. And the log is quite wet. TFTC
An enjoyable morning getting out on the bikes again whilst finding some geocaches south of the river.
After a few frustrating DNF's before this cache, we were just about to give up when geo-son spotted the almighty geocache. With a little bit of pulling, the logbook could then be signed.
A great hide as always, duck 43.
Thanks,
-Nickag73

I was seconds away from calling it quits after noticing the suggestion in the previous log that the cache may require archiving.
Then I thought, the suggestion of archiving is pretty bold considering the typical difficulty of duck's hides.
After reflecting upon the hint and recommencing the search, Eureka!
Another exceptional piece of camoflage .

Out 'n' about with a batch of geofriends like _DaughtersofEve_, EleniVW, ABsolute Geocacher, 5_12_9, H899, Turquoise Horse and Eli Norman on my geoparty. We searched for this one with no success then later came back and DNFed again.
3rd visit and had to PAF on this one. Holy moly it was tricky. Needs maintenance as log was wet so will send the CO a pic with proof of find. TFTC amazing!
Thought I'd try my luck again whilst riding around the river. Amazingly found this clever hide quickly. Great camo. Run out of favs to give but certainly worth one. TFTC
Thought I was on a duck roll so had a go at this one. Alas my luck had run out. Will be back. Tftc
Despite the reviewers hasty move to disable this hide it has been found so I decided to enable it.
###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either
- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken
If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

In the area finding a few caches, this was our next after a short walk from the jetty... This one had us searching for a long long time & the long list of DNF's were also concerning but we did not give in
Eventually Jase discovered the outstanding camo, pure evil but somehow quite obvious after making the find... Well done duck, loved it [^]

Not having a lot of duck luck today..that is 1 out of 4 for me..such a great spot though..i will be back..tfth
Similar to another one of ducks caches, the camo on this is ridiculous. You never cease to amaze me. TFTC
Credit goes to mmxkr for this find but Vanderleer and I were along for the ride. Log too moist to sign
We came out of isolation to go for a bike ride...and so lucky to have a cache in this beautiful spot. We just ast and contemplated and eventually spotted it. A fav for sure. Tftc
After a previous DNF, something in log and a bit Duck luck today I spotted it quickly. Not like last time. Another masterpiece. Fav added. TFTC.
How long do you spend out in the open? Think we knew what to look for, tho didn't find.
Looked for a while but nope. Was thinking not everyone looks at the hint and I didn't see your not supposed to move rocks
Almost gave up but after a lengthy search the cache was firmly in our hand. We were determined to find this one. Of course out in the open but not obvious of course.... a favourite for you MrDuck! Thank you.
Out with Kapelula, Meme28 and the geokids on a duck run before heading to the leap year event.
Yeah! After 30minutes many eyes we finally found it ! Great camo. FP for us.

We spent ages scouring the area for this one! Such a great hide. Out for the day with Meme28 and I C Nothing. TFTH’
Unfortunately duck 43 I couldn’t find your cache Majestic Swan today. Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time I’m here.
Sat and pondered for a while, pretended to take a few photos of the city when muggles came by. Almost gave up and then had a look from a slightly different angle.....found!!!! A very sneaky hide Mr Duck and a favourite from me. Beautiful location too.
Haha loved this one, very clever.
After finding it my son said he had checked it already but obviously not well enough. There was something just not quite right.
Thanks Mr Duck, a fav.

With iluvtrekking and richlink for the day,
we enjoyed search, found and signed the log as EV + ILT + RL.
Thanks duck 43 organising the cache and hunt. [^][^]

We were in Perth for a couple of days and had a yearning for a 'duck day out'. Teamed up with iluvtrekking and Everlasting for an entertaining search through duck territory. Another quality camo. Thanks duck 43
Making the most of the cooler weather, we hit the road with Everlasting and richlink in search of some previously unfound duck43 caches.
We were not disappointed. We found some excellent hides at some equally excellent locations.
Thanks for your mastery duck 43.

Another very clever duck43 hide that had is searching for a while. An FP ... of course.
TFTC duck 43 this is find # 8266 for us.

This one took a bit of searching before Mr OOH YEH made the find. Clever hide and a fav point TFTC duck 43
This area is not good for me. No find on the old one and no find on the new one but one hell of a cold wind. Will be back.
Excellent hide which has to have a favourite point ! T4TC mr duck, our second one today!!
Find 11 of 12 with just one DNF on a pleasant bike ride around the suburbs of Atta/Apple/Ard/Alf. Not as many as we usually do on a 3 hour bike ride as ducks are rarely quick finds for us! Just feel the quality though...
Just one more before lunch. Hoping it wouldn't take forever as the cafe was calling me. Thanks to great co-ords we hunkered down in the right spot and soon had the cache in hand. Great camo as ever and worth a fave.
TFTC duck 43!

Great day out with Spatial Riq, mostly hunting out Duck hunting , but picking up a few others on route. Found this one after a few minutes. Nicely done

Spent the day out with The Machman, mostly in Duck43 territory.
Great day with 22 finds and only 2 DNF's. Left home around 6am, and back around 3pm, so a full days geocaching ... with a few other QR type games in between
Took a few minutes, but eventually spotted the hide. TFTC

Saw it had been replaced and could not resist a try. Found by Mrs PP after a five minute search. Worth a Duck point, of course. TFTC Duck43
Returned for a Third visit after seeing that Duck43 had replaced this baby. Pleased to say that Spot had it in hand after a bit of a search. Hopefully this one lasts better than the first incarnation as it's another great piece of Duck craftsmanship. Worthy of a FP; that's for certain.
Ashamed to say that we returned this morning and tapped and prodded everything but the cache, or perhaps we prodded that as well without realizing. Only positive was that we filled up a bag of rubbish washed up ashore; so all wasn't lost. You "got us again" Sir Duck; well done.
Regret to advise it is missing. Either washed away with high tide or stolen. Will replace but will take quite some time .
Gz is under water but still I searched. Checked what I thought was every part of every rock near GZ but I couldn’t find your cache today. Too cold to continue any longer. I’ll need to plan for better tides.
Had to quickly pop over this morning but alas, Mr Duck, you certainly got us well and truly beaten on this one. Thanks and God-willing we'll return when we have a bit more time to spare. Well done Sir.
*FTF* at _will fill time in later_ with 777Tiger, Barnzy12 and Cravo10.
I heard the ping and called 777Tiger, who lives nearby, and blitz out to GZ. After an hour of fruitless searching we were about to pack it in. However, with a few texts to B12, who was caching with C10 in the city, we hung on and waited for extra man power. An additional half an hour? or so of searching with a team of four and I was once again ready to call it quits... when C10 shouted out, "got it!" Coordinates were absolutely spot on! Not even so much as a metre off! An excellent hide duck! Have a favourite point again for your efforts!
