Caching around Cromwell today. Ventured around and finding caches. Log book signed. TFTC
Out and about enjoying the hidden gems of our country. On a lovely sunny but cool Central Otago day making the most of the Kings Birthday Monday. Have not been to area for 20 years. So much has changed TFTC and the revisiting of family fun holidays.
As we were driving past here we took a quick pit stop to stretch our legs with Kubabelle. This is such a nice walk with many cyclists taking advantage of the good weather today. Upon arriving at the GZ, I spotted two likely spots. Kubabelle and I searched a spot each and had the cache in hand. Our names are now in the log. Thanks for the scenic cache, much enjoyed
on a trip to Central getting caches with different COs. This is the closest cache of the CO as I have logged all the closer ones. Thanks
We rode the Lake Dunstan Trail today on a couple of ebikes with a helpful tail wind, starting at Clyde and finishing in Cromwell - a brilliant trail with spectacular views and amazing engineering.Found the cache quickly and signed the log.
Were spending the day cycling the Dunstan Trail right through to Alexandra. The Roxburgh Gorge tomorrow. Caching along the way. A quick find here and a good view of where were heading.TFTC
Perfect little one with a view! Love to see the restoration efforts happening here!

Excursion with downsouthinv for a couple of days. Just loving exploring and finding plastic boxes. Great day fot it
Loved doing the trail this time of year and seeing the autumn colours. Luckily the forecast was wrong and we only had rain first thing so the rest of the day was great cycling weather. Good excuse to stop here to take in the view. A nice quick find, and back on the bikes. Tftc
With muggle cyclists passing us, I made the decision to skip the previous caches, we really wanted to get on the trail proper.
So I stopped to enjoy the view and take some pictures.
With rebel98 enjoying the Dunstan cycle trail today.

We sat in our deckchairs at the nearby car park and ate our picnic lunch, after which I came and discovered this quick cache find.

A hot & windy day for a return trip to Cromwell. A lovely spot here to sit & watch the jet skis on that blue, blue water down below. And a quick find to make us even happier. Thanks for placing.
TFTC. Great day caching with the Boyd family. Managed to fit some biking around the caches

Sweet view and we had it all to ourselves! Lovely smell of rosemary in the air and the sun is shining...noice!
I'm staying in Clyde for a couple of days. Headed into Cromwell early this morning. to have a look around and find a cache or two. No worries here. TFTC

Went for a bike ride from the Cromwell Heritage Precinct to the Bannockburn bridge today. Superb views of the autumn colours at the river’s edge. Picked up a few caches along the way. This was a quick find. #4899. TFTC.
It must have been Rotary gardening day today with a last number with their fluoro jackets on cleaning up tge vegetation in the area. They were all focused on their work though. Thanks for the cache wombats_4

Thanks been for a bit a bike ride with some family. Another piece of this new track biked. A great asset for Cromwell.
Back in the area after cycling past yesterday while on the trail, thanks wombat_4 for the cache all in good order.
Found with Tregearp whilst out and about exploring Stewart Town and a few vineyards. We'd missed this one when cycling past yesterday, but swung by via car for a quick find, completed formalities and replaced as found. Thanks wombats 4 for the cache.
Found with StreetWalker on a day trip to Cromwell from Wanaka where we are currently staying.
A warm walk to this cache. Seems a popular track for cyclists, I think we didn't see any other walkers along here. Very strong smell of thyme while we searched. After doing the paperwork, SW went back for the car, which was parked by the bridge to park it in the (nice and shady) carpark at the end of Pearson Rd. TFTC.

Today Injeanious and I cycled from Cromwell to Alexandra along the new bike trail. We had a great time and found lots of caches along the way. A nice find here, tftc!
I couldn't resist walking to enjoy the view(and the cache). Thanks for the placement wombats 4.
I had to enjoy the view for longer than necessary and take some photos while I waiting for a large group of bikers to pass. Actually I quite enjoyed watching a jet boat come out of that arm or branch into the main waterway. Gorgeous views today. TFTC # 17,638
