After attending the "Morning tea with a view" Event in Ingleston Gorge, we spent the remainder of the day in the Bacchus Marsh, Melton area catching up with family and adding a few more smiley tokens to our collection.
Wow - well and truly muggled, spread all over the ground. Thats what we found after 3goes at finding a good (quick) way to access the GZ. We were able to gather everything together, sign part of the log and return to a spot matching the hint. CO advised by Message.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for placing caches in interesting locations.

This was not easy, and I'm convinced probably the hardest way to take using trailhead! There is a path and parking nearby. Ah well. Still enjoyable, thanks!
Thanks, Benjamin Screamer for this one.
Completed on Halloween. The "trick" was getting there so muggles didn't see, and ended with a nice little "treat".

Took us,,, too long to find. But we did it! My first one too! Swapped some treasure and even added a little Doodle in the log book!
(I found a piece of a jaw bone w/ teeth on the way back! Vulture culture people be on the lookout!!)

Nice find. Dog provided entertainment when he tried to jump across the creek and instead fell in.
We got a little bit lost to start with for this one. The navigation took us inside the Over 50s village so we couldn’t work out how to get over the fences. We eventually worked it out and then took the wet option and jumped over the creeks. The cache was worth the effort! Thank you.
It seems COVID safe enough to enable the cache. Be careful. I don't want to disable this one again.
This cache has been temporarily disabled to reduce the chances of spreading the COVID-19 virus. It will be back in business when health authorities say it is safe to go bush walking etc. Stay safe. Wash your hands. Maintain social distancing.
Hi there Benjamin Screamer.
We found your cache **"East-West Confluence"** today. (This makes our find count 24163).
We headed up to Melton today. We were glad to venture out and enjoy the sunshine even though the wind was ffreezing.. We had a successful day & found 4 caches & DNF'd 0 .
Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thank you for placing this cache here & adding to our adventure. Thanks also for placing a large cache container here. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache (with swaps) here.
Regards
Ian & Penny

This geocache is currently disabled because I support the government's non-essential activities restrictions that have been introduced because of the COVID-19 virus crisis. I encourage you all to suspend your geocaching activities ASAP. We must all work together to stop the virus spreading. The cache will be enabled in the future.
Ducks and tadpoles. Lots of tadpoles. I guess that means plenty of frogs too. Frogs are a sign of a healthy waterway. What a delightful little area this is.
Taking note of the cache page I had a pleasant wander in to GZ.
The cache was soon found in excellent condition. Not having any swaps on me I left every thing as it was and simply signed the log.
Thank you for a relaxing end to my day Benjamin Screamer.

A beautiful day for a walk around the area and find a cache.
Interesting area that is alive with frogs, indications of a healthy waterway.
There’s evidence that the cache has at some stage been under water.
Easily located, log signed and cache returned as found.

Of course with your caches I always read the description and this helped with gaining access to GZ. From the title I arrived nearby and all was as I expected.
The water levels were down here so wet all went 'swimmingly'
Thanks for another cache close to home Benjamin Screamer

Found by Mary and David at 14:25. Hmm. Not the kind of confluence we had in mind when we first saw the cache name. Despite the suppkied trailhead waypoint, we took longer than we should have to find our way in and locate the cache. A good spot though. Our thanks to Benjamin Screamer.
Not sure if I found the best way in to this one, but I found a way. Cache is well secured.
Out and about with my caching buddy's the suscoe's today up around Bacchus Marsh, Werribee Gorge and Melton to change a few caches to smilies and this was on the list to hopefully find and find we did.
Parked at the suggested parking and enjoyed a stroll to the cache but used the walking bridge as there was too much water in the creek and finally found the large container.
Well hidden as I have come to expect from this hider and left a traveler for the next finder to move on.
Thanks for the hide.

Suscoe headed to the Bacchus Marsh area today for a caching trip with our great mate Bushfire.
It was a pleasant day with some cloud, some sunshine, some spots of rain and a good range of caches and locations to visit including the one month to St Arnaud event.
Thanks to Benjamin Screamer for this hide, a pleasant walk negotiating a few obstacles along the way.
Plenty of frogs calling this afternoon.
Cache dry and all in order.
Pretty quiet out here.

Found it! Followed the instructions and it was an easy stroll through the Bush.
Found a travel bug which we are moving on.
Found this one with G7 who is 5 and was amazed at the size of the cache.
Didn't have any treasure to swap today.

Good hiding spot for this well camoed cache. We did enjoy the stroll to find GZ from the Trailhead. Great colour fr the cache container and a good one for the camo. Another cache that was well planned and implemented by CO. Left TB from Darwin via Mildura. Please move it on.
TFTC Benjamin Screamer - thanks for placing this cache where we had not been before - we always like to find new walking areas!

Well it not exactly the White Nile meeting the Blue Nile but in dry old Melton the fact that two creeks meet is worthy of a cache for sure.
Took the suggested route and the hide was easily discovered on a cool overcast morning that promised later rain. Perhaps then these almost benign creeks will roar into action. Alas I won't be here to see that.
Thanks Ben

50/50 decision to attempt first here as it's the start of the month but also close to home for a streak day
This one now makes 12 months of FTF.
Followed the suggested path in and a nice size hide was found quickly
Thanks Benjamin Screamer
