It's a really interesting gorge. The honeycomb was impressive and there were also some other very unusual features that had our attention for some time. Answers sent to CO. Tftec

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 93 - Carnarvon Day 1. Day trip to Gascoyne Junction and beyond. My last county beckons and I hit the road early for a day trip. I found the cache I was looking for in Gascoyne Junction and headed a bit further north to The Kennedy Ranges National Park for a small hike up onto the plateau for two more. With time sill available I headed south to a random roadside cache before getting back on the blacktop for the run back to Carnarvon. In the late afternoon I stopped at the Rock hole on the Gascoyne river and then went back to the van to cook dinner. Tomorrow is a day around town and a chance to meet some more east coast cachers. With the impressive range looming overhead, the sun was out and seemed quite hot for only being in the low twenties. I got my gear together and headed up the gorge to have a look at this area. The Erosion is very dramatic and obvious, but the method need a bit knowledge. I have sent my answers. Thanks for the cache m4yb48675.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & GeoWoodstock XVIII Logo A#508**Albida**

A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park, Wyndham and the Gibb River Road.TFTC.What amazing rock formations. Love all the little rocks that have been collected on the shelves. Great walk.

It was an unexpected, but great choice to continue on from Gascoyne Junction out to Temple Gorge. Seems, a decision on a whim is an awesome choice. It was the earthcache first, then across to walk up the escarpment. The escarpment was a push with fading light, but we made it up and to the first cache. Could gave continued on but sense prevailed, out either the phone torches and back in the dark. Safe and sound 1.5hoyr return trip. Trail markers as very reflective and name for am easy enough return. What a stunning location, the rock formations were just fascinating. The shirt walk into the EC went quickly and easily, do much to see and enjoy. FP.

The Kennedy ranges where well worth a visit. We were going to stay just one night but ended up staying for two. We even walked this gorge twice. First in the afternoon and then again in the morning. The honeycomb is pretty amazing and the variety of shapes. Thanks for putting this earth cache together

Came along here with ilook4geo in the afternoon before the dark grey clouds started to roll in. Honeycomb Gorge was just as great as the last time we visited years ago. Worked out the answers which have been sent to the CO. We enjoyed our visit here and had the gorge to ourselves. Thank you to my4b for bringing us back for another visit to this beautiful spot.

What a sensational walk from the Temple Camping ground along here to Honeycomb Gorge. Fascinating variety of geological forms along with brilliant vegetation. We did it very late in the afternoon and just beyond sunset and it was brilliant.

Out ‘n about getting a few caches.
I walked the rather rough escarpment trail so decided to drive as close as possible to this site. Wow, what else can one say? This geology is just amazing. Have a FP for bringing me here and giving me the lessons.
Thanks for the awesome EC & m4ybteam.
