Logs
Found it! Did the calculations, went to GZ, found nothing, expanded the search still nothing. Previous logs told me everything I needed to know. Back to starting coordinates, I made the find close by. TFTC!
Found on my caching trip to the Barossa. Enjoyed the district with beautiful weather during the day and thunderstorms late afternoon. I had similar problems with the numbers but it eventually dawned on me. Thanks Trigger_Fish.
I struggled with the coordinates and whilst I gave it a damn good go I couldnt take the prize. I referred to previous logs, and it is evident that there are issues with the multi And armed with this additional information, the prize was quickly in hand Interestingly, I actually looked casually at the final stash location, when heading to the coordsBut just didnt see it initially.Really should probably be made a traditional .TFTC
Today out and about on 208 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
We stayed at Nurioopta last night to top up on lots of supplies at the Geostuff store this morning and then we are heading our way back south to Portland caching along the way. Our main targets are Adventure Labs, Virtual's and Earth caches as these don't present muggle problems and any others that are nearby. We are chasing multi's for a personal challenge so we thought that we would stop and give this one a try.It didn't take long to work out the co-ordinates from the information given here. We headed off to gz when unfortunately we came up empty handed. We went back and check our co-ords and couldn't change anything so we read a few logs and one contained a helpful bit of information and not long after that we were adding our name to the log before returning everything as found. Many thanks TiggerFish for the cache.
The weather forecast for today wasn't that great but I thought I'd go for a drive and see what happened. As it turned out it was foggy on the way up but dry all morning. But it was cold.No problem with this one. A nice quick find.TFTC
After wandering off down the road for the new coordinates, then reading previous logs and the hint, I quickly had the cache in hand. Not as it seems!!
Day 3 of 3. After completing the nearby bike series, we drove to Nuriootpa. We completed the Barossa trail, and found a few others in the area. This was one of the few caches we found.A nice quick multi, and a favourite point given. We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.'The Mob' this time included:- FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop, GoodLook, TheDame, and ourselves.Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, Trigger_Fish, for us and others to find.
Now that the bike series was completed we continued onto the Barossa series. LB bid us a fond farewell at Swan Reach so now the convoy consisted of feathertop, GoodLook,Rapidlywild, TheDame and The Drovers. After completing the Barossa Grape series we parted ways with the rest of the group as they ventured to another series that we had already completed. After dinner it was time for a little night caching. This was done with Rapidlywild and The Drovers. Thanks for the hide Trigger Fish and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild
Plans have been in place for a little while now about a convoy from the Canberra Mega to head over to SA and finish off what currently stands of the On Your Bike series. Today being day 4 of the trip away, todays convoy consisted of GoodLook, TheDame, feathertop, The Drovers, FurfacesLL and myself.Today's primary target was the Barossa Grapes series of caches. After a big day out and about, met up with The Drovers for dinner and then we decided to head back out for a bit of nighttime caching. With the cover of darkness, we located this one pretty quickly, got our names into the log and off we went to find another. Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance Trigger_Fish and thanks FurfacesLL for another fun trip away
Not where I thought if would be based on numbers but it is in an obvious place now that I think about it. A previous log helped. TFTC Trigger_fish.
Greenock Day 2
Camping for a couple of nights at the reserve.
Today our trip took us to Kapunda to Nurioopta & return to Greenock.
A variety of caches found in some amazing locations. A few ALs completed also
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

Passing through Nuri (again) and decided to spend some time back at the labyrinth, again!
Such a great place to play.
Walked down the track to where the multi's icon was and read the sign. Found some answers that put GZ about 60m away, but in the middle of the road. Still, we went there. We had confidently answered all the questions.
Looked at both sides of the road. Headed back to the sign to check everything. Read some logs. Found a cache!
Surely Moneydork/Trigger_Fish didn't get the numbers this wrong.... Surely it's cache creep.....

We were staying in Greenock and doing some caching around the area, along with ilook4geo, with the emphasis being on multi caches. Some were quicker and easier than others but we had a good day and stamped all the logs we found. Thanks for placing this cache go to Moneydork.
Out for some caching fun with goingplaces2 and it was a successful day with some really good finds. Both names were added to the log before all was replaced as found. TFTC.
Travelling from Punyelroo to Nuri with iluvtrekking on a very chilly day. Thanks Moneydork
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Thanks for this straightforward multi cache Moneydork.
Thanks for this straightforward multi cache Moneydork.
We are finally able to travel interstate without heaps of loops to jump through. We thought we would take it easy and have a look around South Australia and grab a few more LGA's while we were here.
I tried for this one this morning but only found a couple of lizards at GZ. I first I thought They may be fake ones with the cache inside but they moved when I poked them so I searched elsewhere.
We were staying at the caravan so Later on I read some of the previous logs and found a big hint so I headed back and bade a quick find

Double checked #s. Not really fooled at all! Eventually checked other logs …#’S are way out. However the Linear Park…Lovely - such a fantastic community resource. Third day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s today and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!
Today I decided to head out for a days caching with it being a public holiday and not having anything else to do. I find Australia Day to be a pointless day off if not attached to a weekend, change the date and make it always be attached to a weekend.
It was quite a warm day which didn’t hinder my 15000 step count but made for thirsty work.
Found 40 caches for the day, very productive. Some great hides today in Gawler and Nuriootpa. Still so many to come back for, need to get some puzzles solved.
Thankfully no snakes spied today.
Finished the day off with a lovely Zambreros in Gawler on the way home.
My appreciative thanks to all the COs for the wonderful hides.

As noted by other finders, the coords do not lead you to the cache, so don't waste your time wandering across the road. Suggest CO fixed this or makes it a traditional.
Today is sunny but cool, great day for a drive. I’ve come to Nuriootpa to sample some of the many caches on offer there.
Fortunately I had read the last log, and then some earlier logs, and ended up saving myself a lot of time.

Found by Mary and David at 15:50. When is a multi not a multi? You shouldn't need to read past logs, but it was necessary in this case. We looked at our calculated GZ and came up empty, then we looked at those past logs, retraced our steps, and found the cache where others said it would be. Our thanks anyway to Trigger_Fish.
Container located 70m away from GZ. (In the guard rail next to the sign). On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC Trigger_Fish

Thanks for hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird.
Found... eventually! Had a set of coords that were 70m away but wasnt sure if they were correct without a checksum. Looked there for a few minutes but found nothing. Rechecked questions, same coords. Read through logs and found a hint as to where it was and then found it. Log signed.
While staying in the nearby Caravan Park for a family event last weekend we decided that now was the time to attempt a few of the local caches.
Nice cool weather so a good time to do some walking caches
We ended up with a DNF this morning but on rereading logs and visiting the gallery we guessed where we should have been looking and returned this afternoon and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the multi Trigger_Fish

This wasn't on the list of the caches to find but we did park right beside the start point, so we could walk to a puzzle final. I spotted the cache while mogni was crunching some figures.
Out with mogni for the day. The aim was to get a puzzle on a calendar day ( mogni )and fill in another D/T spot in mogni's puzzle fizzy and find a multi on a calendar day and a spot on my trad fizzy plus attend the A 10th Geo Birthday and other Stuff event.

Today a small group of us headed out to the Swan Reach to Loxton areas to place some caches. On the way FeatherWaite and I stopped to find a few caches including this one.
The required information was quickly gathered an GZ calculated. The cache was found without any difficulty and was in good order.
Thanks Trigger_Fish for the cache.

Found on our away out to the Murraylands for the day. Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish!
Today I needed 1 cache for the 10 on a day challenge cache, I needed 1 puzzle cache for the every day puzzle cache challenge and I needed 1 multi for the everyday multi cache challenge
I also wanted a FTF as it was a day that I had never had a FTF before
Despite some heavy rain from almost the moment we left home, Rex and I persevered[^] and achieved all 4 of my goals for today
We also stopped at Australia Wide Badges and said hello[^] then Rex got bathed on the way home[^], much to his disgust, as he is coming into the SAPOL communications building with me tomorrow for the 1st time and he needs to make a good impression![^]
5 caches found and 1 placed[^], somewhere[?], to maybe be published eventually
I'd sat in the car when some other geocachers found this cache as I figured there might be a day when I'd need a close by multi[^]
Today was that day and with this last multi in Nuri, I met my 4th goal for the day[^]

Hmmmm.
We think you may have miscounted the number of ovals (one short), then transposed the solutions to B and C [B)].
This caused considerable confusion amongst our team today, as we're already 'multi challenged' at the best of times .
Got there in the end . TNLNSL.
Thanks Moneydork.

TFTC nice find quick drive by out and about with geo wife LynSteNet and bullitmuffin 91 we had a great day after working this one out
After a long hard look at other activity posts we were able to locate with LynSteNet and Animal62 and an interesting confrontation with some muggles we found it!! TFTC

After reading other posts we finally found the cache, signed & dated the log then returned it back to its hiding spot.
Had to explain our presence to an irate land owner but she soon realised what we were doing. Thankfully the gentleman next door was more understanding & friendly

I too, had a set of co-ords that had me about 60m from the actual cache hide... i'm glad they were so far out actually coz i'd probably still be searching or have DNF'd it ha ha
In this case today, 'curiosity' didn't kill the cat
All is good and dry within the cache i might add

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Back in the Barossa, staying in Nuri with our good friends Snappy Tom Cats, and we headed out today together to find some caches. It's a souvenir day!
SnappyTom had been here previously, and come up with coordinates approximately 60 metres away, So I stood at the sign to work out the coordinates. Just as I got the coordinates worked out, Mr D, said, is this the cache!!! My coordinates were also about 60 metres from where we found the cache! , Thanks Moneydork. Perhaps you should check the questions, answers or where the cache is hidden..

Answered the questions. Walked over to GZ. No cache. Thought WTF? Read Davidwazza's log. Fix error. Walk to new GZ. See obvious spot nearby. Find cache. Maybe there are two errors? Check answer for C. Yep, the sign is missing one oval. Leave confused.

Today @gridge98 and I headed north primarily to attend the Gawler event, and used it as an excuse to geocache around the vicinity for common unfound caches of ours. We started out with a couple of geocaches at Munno Parra, before visiting Evanston Gardens just next to Gawler. We then made out way towards Kapunda, stopping off at Freeling (some great wetlands here), Fords, and Bethel. It was then one final detour to Truro for our targeted adventure for the day *Under the Bridge*, a D 4.5 / T 5.0 geocache. With our limited time remaining before obligations required us to be home, we found a few previous troubled and new caches around Nuriootpa. A nice day to be geocaching around, except the couple of locations requiring us to walk through the dried grass, collecting sharp grass seeds through our shoes and socks. It's that time of year where gaiters start becoming a must!
Our final cache of the day today, and with a previous multi-cache found in Kapunda, we didn't need another one to fill our calendar. However, gridge98 thought it would be good to complete, so sure enough, we went through the working and calculations. I mentioned a location that would have been good for a cache, and we laughed, and made our way to GZ. It turned out that GZ was a pretty random roadside stop. So we started reading past logs, and realised the calculation error, so we went to the revised GZ, to have gridge98 make the find. Thanks for the multi here Moneydork.
As others have pointed out, and for those looking for this one in the future, the questions for B and C need to switch (can the CO please correct this?). So to confirm what the questions should be:
A = The second digit on the number on the scale of the map;
**B** = The number of ovals shown in green on the map;
**C** = The number of letters on the (starts with C) name of the [sp.] park shown on [sp.] the map, next to the oval;
D = Number of letters on the second word on the sign;
... etc.

A new multi in town, seemed easy enough so off we set to search for it. We calculated GZ and Davidwazza and I got the same numbers, off we went for a short walk and nothing seemed possible at GZ, we joked about a potential GZ and had a look, sure enough there it was. The numbers need fixing up.
Or B and c just need swapping and you’ll find the cache there.
Today I headed north with Davidwazza to collect some caches but it was mainly based around the event at gawker and was the main reason we headed up this way. With some cache unfound around kampungs and Nuriootpa we finished the day off in those areas. Overall a great day out with 26 finds.
Thanks for the cache

A trio from the Puzzled Puzzlers set out for the Barossa to get a couple of caches that we could only assess last time we were in the area. [^] Today's crew of myself, Blackadders and S.A. sewer Rats made sure that when we transferred to one car, we had all the necessary TOTT with us.
A simple offset multi. As Basil Faulty once said, you could be on mastermind - special category the bleeding obvious. [:o)]
After collecting all the necessary numbers we were about to enter 'next stage' into the GPS and I could see where we were headed. So I just went straight there and found the cache. If only I needed today to fill my multi calendar.

Finished work and found that a number of caches had been published a few hours ago. After scoring silver nearby this was next on the list. Found the sign and calculated some co-ords. Wandered off and started looking. Came back to check some figures and then found the cache as per hint.
