Nice walk to GZ where I spotted a pelican out on the water. Nice quick find was made here. Tftc GurTheWanderer
Had lots of fun finding this one. It was an easy find but still a good adventure to get to GZ and We definitely didn't mind getting a little wet on the way there either, due to how hot it was. TFTC
In the area with Elemental6 and decided to go for this one. One day I’ll get to the others further out. In good condition. It was nice out here today. Thanks for the cache.
Cheers

Water level is currently good so need a boat to get out here. Landfall was made and cache was quickly located. Nice one
The grass is VERY long! TFTC and shout out to firehock1995 for losing the Rock Paper Scissors and having to go in and get it
What a great veiw and a great place for a cache,
Thanks for the inspiration to the walk.
Thanks for the inspiration to the walk.
Lovely amble across the atoll to this cache. Water was low enough for our feet to remain dry. Will have to come back with the kayaks for a paddle. Looked at the most obvious then read the hint and turned around and there it was.
Out for a day of caching fun with Richmond Lad. We strolled out to this one, keeping our feet dry today. A bit of a search and i spotted the cache. With our names added tot he log, we headed back to the geomobile to continue on our way. TFTC
Out and about today caching around Hinze Dam area and nearby. Stopped here to find this cache. Walked towards GZ with the dam level down, did not get wet feet. Looked around and in short time cache was found. TFTC GurTheWanderer
Pro tip: walk AROUND the island if you don’t enjoy running through long grass!! Much easier to get to and find
TFTC great time one! I really enjoyed finding this one. Sad I forgot my pen which I left in the car. But it still was awesome finding it. Thanks!
Out with geowife Dora the Explorer. Arrived after long drive. Nice sunny day and dam water like millpond. This one took awhile. Went back to where gps took me and looked a second time. Spied it out corner of my eye. Good camo colour
thought a might be able to walk to this one but after all the rain that isn’t possible. Thanks anywY
This was our first cache to retrieve in this series. A short paddle and walk.
TFTC GurTheWanderer. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

A test run of the new kayaks with E_Smiley today and we sure picked a beaut day for being on the water. After setting sail we only had to go a short way before picking a good spot to disembark then a short stroll to GZ where it was found quickly IPS.

I decided I needed to visit a bit of water. It’s so dry down here in the Northern Rivers, and the smell of smoke on Saturday was making me feel queasy – so I wanted to go somewhere less smoky and wet. Gold Coast it is! I left early an arrived at the west ramp of the dam and had the place to myself.
I launched the SS Unreliable and set sail to this cache. I thought I might as well paddle to this one rather than walk. Once I was at GZ, the cache was found quickly. Coords were spot on. I looked across the way, and decided that flooded forest halfway across the dam needed to be visited on route to cache number two.
Great cache to start off the series. I knew I was going to have a cracking day. Thanks for this one mate!

I slight change in plans today had me searching the map for something to do. It wasn't long before this little group of unfound caches soon caught my eye. So I dusted of they kayak, strapped it to the roof and left home at 5am.
I could have walked but hey, the yak was already in the water. Was a nice pleasant row around the corner to GZ. Shoe selection wasn't the best for the snake inviting long grass but I lived to see another day and to write this log.
Thanks Gur, the first of many I'm sure

Sunday arvo drive out to Hinze Dam area to catch a few caches. No muddy feet today, although the ground cover at GZ was a bit of a worry considering the warm weather. Much bumping and thumping of large sticks on the ground proceeded the search and the prize was in sight. Nice walk out to this spot. TFTC GurTheWanderer
After a fantastic day kayaking out to the rest of this series, I dropped by to grab this one too.
Nice easy one to finish off the series and great views from here.
As I made my way back to my car I noticed something move in the grass. I thought it was a cat but as I got closer, I quickly realised it was a very very young wallaby. Too young to be away from mum. A quick search and sadly mum was floating nearby. I bundled baby up and ran quickly made my way back to my car.
A fisherman came over to help and gave me a sock for baby to feel more secure and off I headed to Currumbin to get the baby some help.
Thanks for the series Gur, it's my favorite so far, and who knows if Joey would have been found in time if your cache wasn't here.

As we walked towards GZ we saw many footprints in the mud and wondered if they were fellow cachers’. Good coords here. We opened the cache to find a clean logbook.
We got our feet a little bit muddy.
Happy to claim *FTF* on this one
Thanks heaps GurTheWanderer.
