Our first time at a GIFF event here, so it was good to catch up with old friends and met some new ones. All the film's were good and quite a few were on the mark as regard to geocaching. It will be hard to pick a favourite. Thanks to Bert and Danielle for the event and catering.

This is our third of Pinkpiggy7's Giff events, we missed last year because we were out of the state.
We came here with maccamob after having dinner and the first thing we noticed was how much the crowd had grown from previous events. Danielle again kindly supplied some beautiful pop corn to munch on while we watched the films, a big thank you for that.
Even with a full room there was time to catch up with friends and exchange stories before the main event started..
These films are getting better every year and this year it is hard to pick which of the 4 we liked best to vote on.
Again thank you Pinkpiggy7 for organising a fantastic event, sorry we had to leave straight after but something urgent had popped up.

I always throw out to the family ... I have a geocaching event anyone coming? When I got a yes from 3 others I was THRILLED. As we parked the car a very nicely dressed lady said to me "No ballroom dancing today?" DON"T KNOW WHATEVER gave her the impression I could've been a ballroom dancer but I replied , "No sorry ... enjoy your evening". So I made sure when we walked in, we walked into the Geocaching event and not the dancing event. This is our 2nd GIFF and this time we had difficulty choosing our fav. Great turn out & such a great atmosphere. Bert and Danielle you must be congratulated on such a great even and thanks to Team Seal 4 , for the use of the community centre.

Since there was only 1 GIFF in town this weekend, I decided I may as well head on over. Massive attendance, some fun videos and to top it off I got the lucky seat and a FTF prize for my efforts

Made the wet and miserable drive with echidna44 to the venue. Was here a couple a weeks ago for a 1st birthday party. Great to catch up with the familiar faces and see some others. Appreciated the popcorn. First time for a GIFF. Had a good laugh. Makes for making this happen Pinkpiggy7

Unfortunately, we are both down with a ‘Dreaded Lurgie’ which we want to shake off before St Arnaud, so we’ve decided to stay at home a rest. Don’t think we’re toxic to others, but don’t want to be responsible for spreading it further.
Therefore we won’t be attending this GIFF event tonight. Danielle, any chance of you bringing our popcorn to St Arnaud?

Thanks to the lovely hosts who welcomed us at the door, we had s lovely time. Was very convenient the 2 spare chairs right at the front too.

Good to catch up with the Dirtbags who refused to sit and happily stood at the back. Also catching up with normal geocachers and meeting a few new ones.

I think I’ll be there

The drive over was slow, a hailstorm turned Braeside park white and the traffic, congested.
I eventually arrived a little early which gave me the chance to chat with auld friends.
For many of us it has been a torrid and emotional time recently and being able to be out and about amongst friends, old and new, was a salve for many and a relief for some. For that,
thanks are owed to Bert and Danielle for hosting this event.
The films were a step up from last year, as they were a step up from the year before. To me it doesn’t matter which was the best, as they all told a part of our own stories of geocaching. For that I am also grateful.
I apologise for this introspective log but tonight has reinforced how lucky we are to have this community to share.

Wow the geocaching community is cool, 37 teams for a total of 47 humans turned up on a cold and miserable night. Great turn out, and thanks for everyone attending.

The beginning of my Geocaching journey! Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!!

Attended with geo kids 1 and 2. We were greeted at the door by Pinkpiggy7.
I said hello to everyone I already knew but also met cachers I hadn’t met before or that I had been wanting to meet for a while now.
Our very first GIFF Event and it certainly was fun to watch. Lots of laughs to be had and could relate to so many of the scenarios presented.
It was great to see an Aussie entry and even saw Gur in the clip.

Another wonderful movie night with fabulous popcorn and a great crowd. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for all your hard work and for hosting it again this year.

Come rail, hail or.. more hail, Maestro2802 and I were determined to attend the 2019 GIFF event. Thanks to the Pinkpiggy7 crew for organising it and always lovely to catch up with other geopeeps. My vote is definitely leaning toward #3. Fabulous night! On a side note, my prayers go out to all who have experienced loss in recent times.

Of course Mary & David were there. We met up with Team Crackers beforehand, and enjoyed a very pleasant meal at the Beaconsfield pub, then proceeded here. Had to dash through the rain to the front door. So many cars here, and our hosts told us that there was a dancing class for little girls on in another part of the facility. Sure enough, we could see energetic little poppets through a window. What a crowd for the GIFF too, many more than we had expected. As usual, Bert operated the technology flawlessly. Good to see one Australian entry. Our thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for organising this Event again, and to Danielle for doing the superb popcorn.

After the hail storm finished I made the trek out here.

The movies certainly draw a good crowd.
I had a small window of opportunity to fit this event in and it all worked beautifully, it’s all ways interesting to see what the movie makers have come up with while we sit back an watch
