Had a pretty good look along the top and safe spots without any joy. Spot where it looked logical had some trash so perhaps this cache been disturbed
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Our first visit to ACT in that time.Staying a couple of days at Bega showgrounds. Today we bimbled about picking up some caches around Tathra..TFTC janubo
The wallaby trail was great and we had fun. This yrail has us really getting to k ow the micro environs. Thank you
We are from Canada doing a driving tour of SE Australia after attending the Canberra GeoBash. Today we continue north on the beautiful Sapphire Coast making a few stops along the way. Took a walk along the trail. Persistence by hubby paid off. TFT
On our way back to Vic after Visiting Canberra for the Mighty Mega. A wonderful event!I found these two containers scattered. One contained a log book which I signed. I put the two container together and tucked them in a little nook. Many thanks newportchasers for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it GPS about 20m out. Not an easy find. Only found when I gave up and headed back to the track
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. As part of our WHARF TO WHARF WALK.
Caching down the south coast for a few days. TFTC.
I was thinking this might be too hard but eventually found the little hide.

For a while while we were searching for this, we thought it was fake and just a prank! But eventually we found it.
What a great cache. Have a favorite point for the great hint. I needed it. I,ve had a bit of a bad day today. The family headed to Eden with friends. Upon arrival, one of our friends fell over and hurt herself. Mrs Mister JD and I decided to take her for medical attention, while the rest of the group took the kids to the Eden rock pools. After consulting Mr Google, we decided the Pambula Hospital was our best bet. I would hate to see our worst bet. The front desk was really rude, and sent us off to Bega with a flea in our ear. So, off to Bega where our fried was treated well, xrayed, and was told nothing was broken. So far so good. Then back to Kalaru with the good news and the patient. By this time, the day was about done. So, I decided I needed a calming walk and some sea views. So I came to this track hoping I could find a cache. And look!! I did. My signature might get overwritten - my pen turned out to be the same olour as the log paper ... Thanks, Janubo.
Wow, that was interesting. Of course my GPS wanted me to go here and there and everywhere. I then looked at the hint and found what was described. Until it became too hard. I thought of giving up and kept walking, then I found something that actually did match the description…. Easy find from there on. Thanks for a little adventure!
it would pay to be short
thanks for sharing this beautiful part of the coast line with us ️

Day 8 and my last day in Bermagui before heading home. Goal today was to complete the SST series (Minus my DNF's), majority left are south around Tathra and Bega plus grab any others along the way.
I'm not sure how I stuffed this one up so much but it took me ages, I can in along the wrong track and ended up along the cliff edge, searching rock after rock.. eventually I looking in a different area and and spotted something that matched the hint. I'm not very good at being a wallaby.

Diverted from our wharf to wharf walk to find this. TFTC on this interesting bit of coast.
There was bush bashing involved in this one. And yes wallabies would love this area. Tftc
Found while in Merimbula for an event with Tankengine and Youban.
The trail is a bit boggy in places. And took a little to find with the iPhone swinging around. But found it in the end. Tftc!!!

Chooo ooo [found] with youban and dty73! Took a while - coords out about 8-10m! Thanks newportchasers!
Tftc! A top placement that I found on a second visit in daylight. Thanks for looking after this one. ????
Gnarly forest. I had to move like a wallaby, but we got it. OCW MaxAdventurer and Cello_Queen. TFTC newportchasers
Bounding along the path this arvo,
I ended up a hop, skip and a jump from GZ
Hmmm ??
How to get to GZ ??
"Be the wallaby !!" [:o]
The way through this forest had many options,
none of which could be tackled while standing up
So moving like a wallaby ... sans tail,
got me to a speccy cliff top outlook over the Tasman
Eventually I remembered that a cache lay nearby that needed finding
The clue certainly helped.
I'd seen what it referred to on the way in.
So a quick find on the scramble back to the walking track
TFTC !!

It definitely seems like the bush has recovered from the fires. Fortunately, this forest wasn't so dense that I couldn't penetrate. Instead, I just had to wend my way carefully, following the compass on the GPSr. I was a bit worried that under all the foliage the signal might be a bit off, but the GPSr took me right to where I needed to be. And something caught my eye. Yes, there was the container and I could add my name to the list.
Coords were out by 10 m nearly gave up but eagle eye geo wife spotted it.

Decided to spend the last weekend of the school holidays out and about on the south coast picking up as many geocaches as we could!
Beautiful day in Tathra and surrounds.
This one was good for the kids - lost of crawling around!

I travelled to the South Coast for a few day’s R&R with friends at Tathra and took the opportunity to pick up a few geocaches while I was away, including several that I found with Elliese. This is one that we missed; so many possible hiding places within a few metres of the coordinates, where do we start? A pity for I like to read the Tashi books to classes when I was a teacher.
Nice series got close and looked at d/t this more like a d2 but good location
Thanks
Thanks
Found during a short visit to Tathra. Didn't have a pen with me so took a photo of the log.
I used to be a big fan of the Tashi series. Give him a GPS and I bet he’d be off geocaching in seconds . TFTC!
Today was a continuation of the SST circuit, as well as putting some other caches on the list to be found with ilook4geo. We had a good caching day and found some interesting and fun hides. Most logs and containers were in good condition and each log was signed before being returned to its proper place. Thank you to janubo for placing and maintaining this cache, which we enjoyed finding.
Out today doing some caching with goingplaces2, as well as exploring new places on the Sapphire coast. We had a fun day and are happy to log all the caches we found, including this one. TFTC.
Third day of my far south coast road trip. A start in Eden today with some numbers in the VB series before slowly working my way north again. Again good quality caches all day, thanks for that.

I'm an Aussie living in Japan. Today I"m back visiting and staying with family in the area, My Granny used to live in Kalaru and I always enjoyed bushwalking around the area. Today I went bushwalking in the area for the first time in about 30 years so it was very enjoyable to do it. This time with the extra joys of geocaching. I went for a 9 hour walk from Kalaru, to wallaga Lake, to Kianinny bay and this cache which was my 14th cache of the day Even though I only cache with paper maps and no phone or GPS, I was still able to find the bugger, however it was not easy as this one popped up way after I made my maps. I quickly made a new map and was able to find it after a while. It was not easy for a big tired man and I"m sure a wallaby wouldn"t fit there. TFTC.
Just realised you can log a did not find! Well we didn’t find this last week despite wriggling our way through the Tashi Forrest going for attempt two very soon
Finally got some free time and decided we could fit a couple of caches it.so nice to have some to do in the local area. We have often thought this track could do with some caches, glad to see it getting showcased, thanks Janubo. Needed the hint on this one as Gps under cover is always a bit iffy. Found after short search. Tftc
Found at 11:20 AM GAFF3.
Well we made that a much higher Terrain rating than what we should have, however even after finding the easier way back out we thought that it deserved at least another half star.
Fantastic views of the ocean and today it looked like it was heaving up the cliffs
Thanks janubo
