With the motorhome into the countryside of NSW.Our destination was a cycle tour along the new Northern Rivers Rail Trail.We parked our motorhome in Bentley Car Park and then cycled along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail to Casino and back. On the way we had a lot of fun with the interesting signs, the great nature, the adventure caches and all the other caches.Afterwards we searched for many more caches in Casino.Thanks to all owners for showing us the interesting locationssayTeam sissifalkeThe first in the new logbook

Cache has been moved to an appropriate place and is now back in action, same cache idea.

Took the puppies for a walk past this one on the weekend and the fence is gone and of course the cache will replace soon and might have to relocate a bit

This weekend, I headed south to NSW to Lismore and Casino on Saturday, followed by Springbrook National Park on the Gold Coast on Sunday, meeting different geocaching groups on both days.

Today, I started finding a few geocaches in Lismore before joining Beardman75 and georode in travelling to Casino. Our focus today was the *Ferg Loves Puzzles* series, and we managed to find a few others in and around the township of Casino, before departing around 15:00 hr back to Lismore. I then took the solo journey to stay the night at Robina, travelling via Goolmangar, Coffee Camp, Nimbin, Blue Knob, Mount Burrell, Uki, and Murwillumbah. A long day out and about!

We initially thought this was Gary's Road, then wondered who Gary was. He must have been quite the important guy, until it turned out to be fake news. We made this cache a quick park and grab, although it was quite well hidden. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Fergclan for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The 2WD was close to bottoming out but we made it here and Davidwazza made a quick find. Thanks for the cache

I have walked along the river finding caches and have reached the other side of the park. I read some of the logs about a tricky find and it might take a while. The one that caught my attention was the one about a muggle mother finding the cache quickly. I changed to the other side of the fence and found something out of place. A new day in Casino and the thrill of buzzing around town finishing off the “Ferg loves Puzzles” caches, collecting a few others as I passed by and then hopefully start the “Northern Rivers FTF hounds” before heading back to Brisbane. After last night’s huge storm and lightning display, the morning greeted me with a thick fog. It wasn’t till about 9 o’clock before the blue skies appeared and a warm day continued.

Seeing as though I took my bike to Casino and haven’t used it yet I thought this time would be nice to get out and go for a ride and grab the four around the sporting fields. There was no issues with this cache and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was on my way again. Thanks for placing this one here.

Taking a little jaunt over the border, turning a few caches into smilies along the way. Clever hide, took a moment to spot.

With very limited caching time in Casino on this visit I headed for TTS ones closest to where we are staying.

Over in Casino for SES so grabbed this one just before the event. It was a quick find as I'd seen a similar one not too long ago. Ants have taken a liking to this containers hidey hole though. Went to SES and came home and not until tonight (17th) after another SES event did I remember to log the find for the 16th... oops. Great hide Fergs

First of three days around the Casino-Lismore area, here for an Event on Saturday night. It is great to be back in the area, and it is still a green as what I ever remember it being!

There are six in our traveling convoy: in addition to myself there is hatzofff, Grannysmith1947, Snickersallan, Patrol14 and TMZ59.

What a tricky one but well worth a favourite point

We hit the road again today with ilook4geo and moved a bit further north, heading towards Casino, picking up some traditionals, as well as some puzzles and challenge caches when we got to town. Cache was found and log was signed.

Tripping around towards and in Casino with goingplaces2 today, and gathering caches as well. Has a good day despite the rain and the very waterlogged conditions underfoot.

We needed a quick find for the last cache of the day as it was really windy and a huge rain cloud was heading our way.
We quickly looked around GZ and a very interesting set up was spotted - hmm - wonder if that could be something of interest?
Well as we approached it we found that it was a perfect hide. Well done. One of the best type of this kind.

After 4 days at Coffs Harbour we have moved to Casino settling into the caravan park.
We found a couple of caches along the road stopping where suitable with the caravan on.
Its good to be back in Fergeclan country. After lunch it was off to find a few of the local caches.
This was a simple but good hide worthy of a FP
