As I headed back to Greymouth in the cachemobile after my biking the Survivor Series I stopped to sign off this cache. A nice quick find just off the cycle trail. TFTC gracie7 and Mum
Day twenty seven of our epic New Zealand Adventure with RobmcToday we hired ebikes so we could ride along the Wilderness trail today collecting mainly Survivor caches that were solved before we left home and anything else we came across as well.Big day of riding and caching - we will sleep well tonight. Thanks for the cache gracie7 + Mum
Day twenty seven of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Spent the day in Greymouth. We did our ride along the Wilderness trail today collecting mainly Survivor caches that were solved before we left home. Grabbed anything else we came across as well.Rode nearly 50km return.A mostly sunny day, a nice change from the last few.A nice play on words. Thanks, Robmc.
We've parked up by the sports ground and dragged the bikes out ready for a big day of hunting 'survivor's', and the odd extra that we happened to pass.Initially there were a lot of muggles coming and going, enjoying a beautiful, sunny Sunday. But, as we went further along the trail, the numbers reduced somewhat. We still had to be very mindful of muggles appearing from no where. Most of this series were pretty straightforward, but a number of them had become 'buried' and took a fair amount of finding. We only missed three out of the series, so we're pretty happy with that. This is a great series, as is the program itself. Thanks for setting this up
FoundRattll and I are on a road trip around the South Island for three weeks. Today, Day 16, we've started in Hokitika and have spent the day between there and Greymouth. Our main goal has been completion of the puzzle part of the Survivor series, plus any Confused Ducks that we could pick up. Anything else has been a bonus.Out on the bikes completing the Survivor series, this was a bonus along the way. No problems finding. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Today before we headed to our next stop, Reefton, we popped over to Ross as we wanted to explore this little town. Then picked up a few as we made our way to ReeftonTook far too long finding this familiar cache hide TFTC Tim and Viv - ddm
Found a space big enough to sign. Made me smile once I realised the name of the settlement. TFTC
Down south from Tauranga. On a roadie with a group of friends. Great to collect a few caches along the way. Many thanks.Sigining as Team DAM to save room on logs. Found wilderness trail today. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. Its just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.
Thanks for hiding this cache gracie7 + Mum I appreciate it. Our last find for the day. ️Rain rain rain go away ️
It took me 10 sec to relate the cache title to the sig, and a wee bit longer to spot the cache container.
Another nice hide.
Cheers and thanks,

2643. Got the weather window to do the Wilderness Trail. Gathering a few caches along the way. In the right place to start with, just didn’t have a girl’s look. Very obvious when she did. TFTC!!!
Today we decided to ride a bit of the Wilderness track and grab some survivor caches along the way, plus any other caches. Love how everything tied in once we thought about it.
After a train ride and other stuff at Shantytown, Grandma and Papa (andy.gail) took me on a short bike ride to find some 'treasure' on the bike track. The other members of Gingertribe we back at Lake Brunner wake-boarding. I like finding 'treasure'.

Had a good look around but to no avail. GPS kept bobbing around so not confident of whether it has gone missing or not. Thanks!
Had a bit of a hunt but couldn’t find this one. The dog was restless so didn’t stay too long
Setting off on the WCWT with friends. Had to stop for this one, glad to find this stone Thanks gracie7 + Mum.
Nicely named cache. Spotted the one that didn’t quite fir (and looked a little familiar…) and all is good.
We have solved most of the survivor series caches down here but have driven past the whole lot today. Really need a long weekend down here with some bikes at some stage. TFTC Gracie7.

This one took longer than it should have and I should have actually thought about it! But we finally got there. It was also cool to introduce some muggles to geocaching. Think I have them converted!! TFTC
We came out to do abit of Survivor maintenance so checked on this at the same time. No long grass at true GZ and although the cache is hidden it is still in plain site. Once we confirmed it was still here we didnt open it due to the weather. All good here. Happy Caching
Nice to be away on another geocaching trip with tmann421, travelling to a few places in the upper South Island.

*We soon had another good cache located!*

I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #616.
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**
A relatively short drive today, from Hokitika to Greymouth, with our main focus being the Survivor puzzle series and the GeoTour caches.
Had to stop and get this trad while finding the Survivors. Loved the name, had a chuckle when we made the find. Adding a Favourite point.

It is our last day in Hokitika, as StreetWalkerNZ and I are spending tonight in Greymouth then returning home to Christchurch tomorrow. The forecast was for rain developing, so we made an early start to find a few more caches in the area before the rain set in.
Luckily not too many to choose from so a quick find. TFTC.

Found on a three day caching journey over to the West Coast. We really enjoyed the challenging hours spent in solving the many puzzle caches and now the signing off on the log books. We had a great spell of weather as we traveled along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
Had a great day on the West Coast todya lots of km's walked, grabbed heaps of caches, and had a lot of fun. Many Thanks Bitsprayer
Went out after work today to check on a few of the Survivor caches that had recent DNFs we continued on from the Survivors to make sure this was in the correct position. Well, it had moved sides but yep pretty much same thing. All good here. Happy Rock Caching
Nice inner camo and classic outer cont. FP for the pun and fun.
Having left Hokitika earlier we headed to a cluster of unfound and newish caches. I'd solved all but one and had a hope of 'blind-finding' it (I did). I parked back the way and left mrs in the car and despite me telling her I was doing a few her heart sank as I found the first then kept on walking! All of these 5 were found as per their hints and unbeknownst to the passing speed-muggles.
Day 3 of our West Coast adventure and it's go home day. But not straight home though. Back via Brunner Mines and Runaga Falls/Coal Creek and Pancake Rocks and maybe Westport/Denniston and maybe soemwhere else. In fact as we got past Charleston it was straight along the Buller gorge and back that way which was just as well otherwise there would have been a whole lot of extra kms, there were enough already.
A weekend away has been discussed for a while now, and me and mrs c both had the Monday off so a 3 day trip over to West Coast was the plan. We were fully hopeful of getting down to see the glaciers at Fox and Franz Joseph and were staying in Hokitika for a couple of nights. Plenty of kms driven and a few caches found, incl a virtual and 5 Earthcaches. Good weather all round, no sandfly bites (I know!!) and plenty of awesome sites and sights.

Day 2 cycling the Wilderness Trail. South Beach to Kumara return.
31 finds and a handful of dnf's.
Our last find for the day.
Ms M got up a bit of speed along this stretch and was 200M past GZ before she realised so we left it to pick up on the ride home.
It took us a while to cotton on to the joke. Haha. We love it.
I will probably use that name now for the main road south out of Richmond.

A muggle on his quad bike came to check on us. We did a bit of explaining. He went away quite happy to watch out for more people near by. TFTC

We came to Greymouth to gather up the code words in the TMGT series of caches. After the foul weather last night we were very pleased to see the sky was nearly clear in the morning.
We were headed towards the Taramakau river so we thought we would stop and find a few of the available caches along the way.
We arrived here and searched the obvious place, nope could not find it. We searched some of the other nearby possible places, nope could not find it there either.
The road was very busy and we were feeling a bit frustrated, so I phoned a friend and once we knew what we were looking for GK found it several meters away, completely out in the open in a very unusual spot.
We signed the log and returned it alongside the sign, if this is not correct and it is supposed to be down the road further we apologise. Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley. I will always think of this area under it's geocaching name from now on

. I can be a bit slow sometimes but didn't take too long to get the play on words. I was looking for a stone with a happy face painted on it, I guess it would have been a bit difficult to hide. TFTC .
Went past this and left it for Karma Reprint to find in the obvious spot. Glad to find it. Tftc
A nice quick find today with Ms_KR.
Its Show Day, where to go... Greymouth and the West Coast look OK for now so lets go there!!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

FTF with Hazedarus and Noah.
We had planned to head this way this morning so it was very opportune that this cache was published when it was. We have often driven through this village but I never thought to re-name it but Glad someone did if it meant a new cache to find.
Our pen decided not to work as efficiently as usual but our names are on the log.
Thank you gracie7 + Mum.

FTF With Holymu and Noah. It wasn't really geo-weather but we were passing and not afraid to get wet for a FTF. First I thought it could take a bit but it was in the first place we looked. Thank you gracie7 + Mum
