There were a few distractions here but managed to zero in after reading the hint. Bug spray would be handy Smile

Quick find on a day out and about. First log in quite a while.

15-Mar-20
Headed over this way to clear a few non-smilies off the map with Cats&Dragons. The plan was to start in Waihi and head South along the coast and see how far we can get before our other halves call and tell us to head home. To make the most of this a 4am start was on the cards to cram as much caching in as possible.

Fantastic sunrise from here. Took a bit of a search to find this one. Thanks for the hide.

15-Mar-20
Headed over here with HKCB for a clean up of the area an the chance to work our way south along the coast collecting what we can.
Departed home at 4am on a clear morning and hoping the day stays that way.
Heading south now and a great opportunity for the day to improve as we now have daylight to help us. Nice little collection of caches along here, as there are deffinatly more than I remember in this area

Well now that we are all in lockdown its a chance to catch up on the logging that I have been dutifully ignoring for the past several months. Thanks to all the cache owners that placed these out there
Thanks for the cache, thanks for the placement

Waitangi Day outing - enjoying the sunshine.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and nieces... We have revised and updated our Caching Hit List for 2020 - This is a collection of hides we really want to tackle while we have summer holidays and Daylight Saving... Our plan is to incorporate at least some of these caches into our adventures. Our big Hit List target for today was to tackle the NTA Trail at Aongatete. However, Gap had some commitments around town which meant a small tweak to the plan - Instead of a morning walk, let's do it this afternoon...

The boat ramp was in full use this morning as all and sundry were in a hurry to launch their crafts to catch the incoming tide. No one bothered with us and we went straight to action. It took a bit of lateral thinking to decode the hint. There were several items that did not seem to fit the environment. One of the nieces located this one eventually. Thanks supernannny and TFTC.

Find number 6171. I had a morning free so came to get some caches in this area with the possibility of a FTF in KatiKati. FTF achieved so had time to come for this one. I remember coming along this trail before to get some caches. This one took me longer to find than it should have but thankfully I got there in the end. CO had mentioned to me about another cache hidden in the area that was found when this cache was being placed. No luck with the other but happy to sign this one off. Thank you for the placement

10.00am. No rain forecast for today so we decided on a walk by the sea. A quick find here right at the start.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

Three years to the day since I found my first cache. Some of the very early ones were out here as well. Turning out to be a lovely day. We seem to be at one end of the walkway so time to go back and maybe explore the other way. TFTC.

On the last leg of a good day out caching with Mc Jandals & NZFlossy. I can't remember the last time I was down this way but I know it would have been for caching. We parked next to GZ and the hunt began. It didn't take too long to uncover although the most obvious location wasn't the first place we checked.... doh. Cheers Supernanny, TFTC Smile
