Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. On our way to Port Elliot for a few days and picking up caches along the way. Took the geo-schnauzers for a walk from the caravan park. Thanks for the find. LCNU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending a few days in beautiful Port Elliot exploring the area and picking up a few caches. What a fantastic park here. TFTC. LNCU
Found at 10:30 AM GAFF1 in the company of The Morris. On our way on our bikes from the showgounds where we are camped to do the sir spectre cache series. A lovely trail and we were very lucky to have a beauriful day - very still and perfect temperature. Thanks to sir_spectre
We have travelled from Portland Victoria to South Australia and after setting up camp with Pprass at Port Elliot we spent the morning cruising around on the bikes. After some lunch we toured around town collecting some caches along the way. Thanks for contributing to a fun day out sir_spectre
We enjoyed a few days away from home, enjoying the scenery, the people we met and, of course, finding cachesThanks to all who made this an enjoyable week.
I just walked from Middleton to Port Elliott for some baked goods, and now Im headed back home. No problems finding this one.
Found this cache after exploring the rocks along the shore line. Even met some locals. TFTC
TFTC we really enjoyed this series. We left lots of swaps for the kids & managed to pick up 3 TBs! Have given this cache a favourite
Found during an energetic walk along the Encounter Bikeway in Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Park. Thanks for the cache and series sir_spectre!
This completes my geocaching rainbow collection. Thank you sir_spectre for bringing me here, to enjoy the walk and caching. It was great having the large caches, and the wonderful cow statue. I also walked to the lookout nearby to admire the coastal views.
I decided to head out today in the direction of Port Elliot and this series of caches was my intended target. A thoroughly enjoyable walk on a pleasant day and I seemed to have it mainly to myself for the most part.
This was the last cache I looked for in this series today. I spent a bit of time wandering around and I was not having any luck. I then broadened my search based on a few earlier logs and the cache was found. It was definitely not where my GPS was pointing but it was a lovely view from here. TFTC sir_spectre

One of five “Color” caches logged after the Victor Harbor CITO. I started this series in the middle of last year. Perfect for lazy days like today - good sized caches and brightly coloured too. I was hoping to add to my haul of Victor Harbor LGA finds, but sadly these are over the border in Alexandrina.
Thanks for the cache and the series sir_spectre and MiniMaker.

Headed south for some caching today, mainly after AdLabs but of course was planning to find some physical caches as well. The first AdLab suited this very well as it was in the Ratalang Conservation Reserve which also contained the ****is the color**** series that I'd had my eye on since it came out about 3 years ago. Haven't been on the bike for far too long so that came along as well. Managed to get the bike quite close to all but two of the caches. All sixteen colours were found and their logs stamped.
Thanks to sir_spectre and the Mini Maker for this cache and the series.

A rare day off during the week for Anymules had us meeting up and heading south to the Hindmarsh Island through to Port Elliot area and then onto the Cox Conservation Park. Got to do a Lab Cache series as we walked around a colourful series and almost all were found in good condition although I did add another couple of DNFs to my ever growing list.
Time for a colourful walk to grab some caches and do some Labs. Nice sea views whilst getting this cache.
***Thanks sir_spectre for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

I am spending the weekend down in the Port Elliot region. Armed with some various TOTTs, I am targeting caches requiring tools of the trade to access and various others that spark my interest.
An enjoyable walking trail here so I set off on foot to grab a few. I only searched for a handful. Leaving the rest for my next visit when I will hopefully bring my bike.
Thanks for the cache sir_spectre.

We are spending time in and around Port Elliot. This series has been beckoning, and we chose this afternoon to walk from the caravan park to Middleton and back, creating a few smilies for our map along the way.
Found this one after circling it for a little while. Signed log, took TB to move it along.

While staying in Middleton we decided to do the nearby ‘color’ series of caches and enjoy the lovely loop walk to Port Elliot and back. As they were put out for a child we added a trinket to most of them.
All had excellent coords and were in great condition. Most were easy to find discreetly with only a couple a bit more difficult to access.
Beautiful bright colours too.
Very glad we did this series mid week as the tracks are very popular so would be very busy on weekends.
We dropped a trackable in here too.
Many thanks for a delightful series sir_spectre

Lovely area for this trail. Brightly coloured containers made it a fun series plus the gorgeous views. Thanks for arranging.
Found at 15:47 with Olga on a nice afternoon stroll after doing some maintenance on one of our caches nearby. We started this series a few weeks ago but ran out of time. Today we finished the last four. Nice series.
What a great series through Ratalang (Basham Beach) Conservation Reserve! I loved every Cache! Great walk on a good weather day! Tip find the goat trail to the cache before finding it… not like me finding it after finding the cache!
Now off to get petrol… I’m running on empty and the car!

We had a wonderful day on Father's Day finding the whole series of these caches. Thanks for all of your work and maintenance of this series sir_spectre.
Nice sound of waves here.
We completed the series! Yay!

Out for a day around Middleton and Goolwa where I met up with Southern Cross Caching.
We started our walk at the surf beach next to Surfers Parade and walked through to Port Elliott, picking up the colour series.
There was a surfing competition at the point which explained why there weren't many out along Surfer's Parade, even though the waves were excellent today.
Thanks for all the pretty colours, you must have a great paint collection in your garage
This cache was found using a Garmin GPS 64s at 3:25:00 PM and was 16 of 16 finds today.
Thanks sir_spectre

The chemical element for Silver is AG
Silver has a melting point of 1,763°F (961.78°C) and a boiling point of 3,924°F (2,162°C)
In 1913, Silver traded for $2.64/oz. In January of 1980, adjusted for inflation, silver traded at $114.27/oz. And in April 2011, it traded for $54.54/oz. Today, September 19, 2018, it is trading for $14.24. Per the US Debt clock, silver should be trading at $599/oz!
According to silver expert Ted Butler, JP Morgan owns 700 Million ounces of physical silver!
There is less silver above ground than gold.
Silver is one of the most reflective metals in the world.
Mexico is the largest producer of Silver in the world.
Silver has natural antibacterial properties and the saying, “born with a silver spoon” came from wealthy families who would feed their young children with silver spoons for the germ-killing properties.
Unlike gold, silver is typically not recycled. Much of the mined silver used in TVs, electronics, etc., is buried in landfills.
Silver is slightly harder than gold.
It amazes us how little love silver gets! This incredible metal is so vital to our lives and yet receives very little respect. Silver has an interesting future; the high demand due to our technology consumption and the low physical inventory makes it incredibly important to our lives. We predict that this underdog will have its’ day and command the respect it deserves. Got silver?
Thanks sir_spectre and min maker for the cache, bit of a look for this one but found it in the end. TNLNSL
