Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Staying in Griffith for a few days. Sun is shining so we headed out to find some caches before Chinese for lunch. TFTC The_Beccentric

We found this one on a rainy day as we passed through Griffith trying to fill in the time until the rain stopped we decided to find some caches and trigs around town. Nice area to explore tftc

Yay another find for the day, and this marks my 600th so yay for that! Loved the find. Out heading south west for the holidays and geocaching seamed like the perfect activity for this rainy day

It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Found on a trip through western New South Wales and central Queensland to attend the QOGM at Longreach, then a return drive back to Adelaide via Brisbane, the north coast of NSW, central NSW and the Riverlands. Thanks for the cache The Beccentric!

On our travels we found ourselves in Griffith for the night and took the opportunity to grab a few caches this was a fun hide and a great cache, thanks for placing it

#21191. Day 5 of our escape into NSW. Another day touring around the area. This time a trip from Barellan to Griffith and back again. Started the day with a DNF and almost ended the day the same way but went on to find one more cache. Managed to find 13 and have 2 DNFs.

Another very nice hide full of SWAG in good condition. Finally got to leave some larger bits of SWAG I have been travelling with.

Day five of setting off north with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Barellen, drove to Griffith for a few caches, and returned to where we started.
A lovely blue sky, sunny day.

That would be right, we find the Kraken's key, and we are miles away from any sea!

Touring with Trodectus and collecting caches. Parked nearby and walked to GZ. Cache located after short search. Log signed and returned. TFTC

Found with Coybear2000 while doing some caching around Griffith. We parked nearby and walked to GZ. After a brief search we made the find. Log signed and all replaced, and we noticed that a couple of small screws had come loose from one of the hinges and were in the outer container. We didn't have the needed tool to replace them. TFTC.

Out caching with Mrwhiskers76, after not caching in quite a while. We managed to tick a few off the list that are now somewhat local to us.

We made our way to GZ and eyed off a few possible spots, mrwhisker making the find. I grabbed the cache from where it was hidden without disturbing the surroundings too much. All of the contents was dry and plenty of room on the log. We added some loot and I dropped off one trackable.

We spotted a gecko hidden in its cave too! We let him return to his slumber.

Underwoodisaurus milii, thick-tailed gecko.

It was a perfect day for a caching hunt, although unfortunately, I had forgotten to apply some mosquito spray before attempting this cache.

Even though the walk to the cache was short, it didn’t stop the mosquitos from swarming in. Luckily we managed to find the cache at gz pretty quickly.

#16768 - 1:27:00 PM; After a couple of nights in Mildura on the way home from South Australia after collecting the geomobile with Sol de lune, today we head for home. Collected a few caches along the way, adding a county or two as we went. A damp log here and there was no surprise, gven recent weather events, which also see the Sturt Highway closed at Gillenbah. Luckily we had planned to detour via Griffith and Leeton, so the road closure didn't present a problem. The mozzies though were a different proposition and made things a bit unpleasant at times! All caches found in good order, unless otherwise indicated, and replaced as found after we added our names to the log. TFTC The_Beccentric

Heading home after picking up a car in Adelaide with LuckyL10n and took a detour through Griffith and Leeton to cross off another county or two. Apart from the mossies, there were no real issues grabbing any of caches and once in hand the log was soon signed.

What a booty hide amongst rocks and grass! Heading south to NE Vic and a higher altitude after attending QOGM at Charleville. Staying overnight in Griffith so of course put a few caches on the agenda. TFTC AND THE FUN

My first cache for the day having driven down from Cobar with Ronice88, after attending QOGM in Charleville.
I had done all of the caches along the route and most of the ones here in Griffith after a trip through here with Crustyvarmint in August.

A short detour up the back roads of town to the earth cache near by, we stopped by this cache as well and after a small walk in the cache was easily found tucked away

Day 6 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to NSW for a week away collecting a few caches that we had planned out and the odd ones here and there. Today we made our way from Bowning to Balranald.

Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.

Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.

The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.

In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
