Wasn't sure we would reach due to works but cache here and all good if you can use something to prevent getting cut up on metal
Just hope the locals are aware of geocaching as it always looks so dodgy! Quick and easy find - thanks
Wasn't sure how I was going to approach this, but a quick pop in through a slim "path" and it became obvious. Tftc
Rain ️ rain ️ go away.

Out caching (and mountain climbing) on a blustery morning. Nice quick find. Tftc
This 1 was proving elusive until an interested local came to help us. The people doing their Saturday boot camp were looking at us strangely as we snuck about. Thank you
Day #9 of my Summer Holiday through the Catlins to Invercargill and over to Te Anau for New Years then back to Invercargill. Time to head home with a few stops and target caches along the way. Quick stop here on my way to Kew Hospital TFTC

Some interesting history about this old house, and a quick easy find nearby with the precise hint. TFTC
Snagged and tagged this one on my way past. Cheers.
Tuesday 27 October. Checking out Invercargill again today. Lets go Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Cache 202 Been a while since I looked at these houses, going back about 15ish years my ex husband and I looked at buying the grey house on the opposite corner unfortunately there was ALOT of work to be done to the place and we didn’t have the extra $$ lovely houses on the inside though, got wet knees grabbing the cache but another log signed and another rock bug added to cache T4TC
(# 6127). Day 9 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting some caches around Invercargill and Bluff as well as having a good look around. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Since International Travel is a non happening thing, we decided to do a bit of locals 7 Wonders of the World caching instead!
Thanks so much for taking the time to place this cache, weather was a tad wet, cold and windy today. But nothing stopped the Glenfelik family from getting out and about!
Great to read the history - another neat old local building.
The hint is the most perfectly fitted hint!

In town for the 4th time since late March. Spent all the nicer weather doing various chores (eg spending money) and now I have time to cache it raining.
Followed instructions and soon had the dry cache in hand.
Always good to find out about local history, though I did wonder where the stone house was until I read further then did a u turn so I was on the correct side of the road!
Thanks for the smilie southlandicebergs.

Found on a caching two day journey into Central Otago and Southland with Bitsprayer. Really enjoyed the challenge of the puzzle caches and the many hours spent to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
Had a great drive around Central Otago and Southland today, a wee bit of rainat the start, then a hot day many thanks to all the cache placer's. Thanks Bitsprayer
Had time to stop in here for this cache after a quick coffee at McD's on Elles road. My first visit to this particular McD,s pleased to see it very similar to all the others around the country.
TFTC - had trouble waiting for my phone to settle down but easy find once I was where I probably should of been

Came looking for this last week but searched & searched with no luck. Got in touch with CO who checked it out & yes it had gone. He quickly replaced with new cache which I found very easily this morning. TFTC & history lesson.
Quick find on scenic way home after getting a wof on the camper. Now can escape again
*Springtime dots are thin on the ground for September soon to be rectified with a return to town now that the majority of attainable caches in Southland have been signed turning dozens of dates from one singular shade of green to a multiple darker green on the 'finds' table*. Luckily some new caches have been placed near places I have passed by a few times before. It was quite the palaver hearing someone else had found the cache but not logged. Having to play 3rd, 4th, 5th fiddle to the FTF. Before you could ask, it wasn't me [:p] this time, just a late couple returning from the west laying down new caches. Made an attempt at the cache to discover black puck in the first place tried. I didn't know these come with a window, that's cool. Signed the log and discovered a little plumber man sticker on the front page. Hurrah for Pipedream! Good to see our venerable cacheri still turning up for a FTF hunt. Choice spot for a hide SIB, they'll be a bit slack repairing that for a while. Cache unwatched from the watchlist and added the second photo to the gallery. What else have I discovered? yep someone is hoarding (8) mega swag and not sharing at gatherings - unofficial or otherwise. TFTC

Yay a {FTF} at 3.10pm 27/9/19. Wombat and I were out at Riverton doing a couple of the local caches and had just sat down for a well earned lunch and coffee when the notification came through. We weren’t in a rush to get back knowing that those closer would get it. Got back into town around 3.00 and thought why not have a look at the logs. Found it very quickly and was surprised to see a blank logbook. Yippie!!! Thanks iceberg for another cool cache.
Its Mental Health week, so we found some fun things to do during the day to end the week.
It's a quite time of year, with lambing and calving, and less than average weather... this week we found ourselves cleaning to fill in time.
This morning we played a bit of a bowls/petanque down the isle with fencing hardware off the shelf as obstacles.
Everyone chipped in for pizzas and donations for lunch, before getting organized for the fun activity of stock take next week.
A quick check of work emails, followed by a new cache on phone... although it was quiet, I couldn't leave the confines of the office/yard.
The afternoon dragged on, the messages kept coming... was it 5.30 yet?
Off 10 pin bowling at 7, excited for this as i missed the anniversary event due to rugby last month.
Discovered we were half an hour early so decided to find this new one to cross off another dot day.
A quick find, but not in the first place I looked, but Searchwisely's.
Back to the bowling alley, I started off slow but came back strong, winning with a score of 111.
Off to Waxys for a drink and a couple of mixed platters, before the band kicked in with some great music; Grease, Toto and a Slice of Heaven etc.
Thanks for the history, and adding to the best activity I know to help with mental health stress.

Out caching in Riverton for the day with Granville. Just sat down for a well earned cuppa and snack when notification came through for this. We thought nah we'll just enjoy a rest. On the off chance, we still couldn't help ourselves when back in town and went to check who nabbed the FTF. What a surprise to find a blank log! All the other poor buggers were still at work sorry gang! So joint [FTF] with Granville86a on a very busy day tftc SIB
We'd arranged to meet up with friends to go bowling tonight. Tuitigger had us bundled up in the car and sitting at the bowling alley, but where was everyone? "Errrr are you sure it was 7pm?" I asked "yeah yeah" he said. So I checked and discovered we were half an hour premature, so off we went to fill in a dot day. Easy find, we were 4TF overall and still made it back to the bowling alley before everyone else lol. TFTC
