Took a wee bit of scouting around but Geokid 7 spotted it. Nice peaceful Tuesday as we spend our last morning in Invercargill exploring. TFTC .
Our holiday is coming to an end and we're mopping up strays on a beautiful autumn day. Thank you for this cache.
It's coming to the end of our Southland sojourn with a few selected caches still to be found. Out and about today finding some of the closer ones.
Thank you for placing this cache.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the NZMCA Park in Invercargill …we decided to drive out to Sandy Point & go for a wander & grab some parts to an Ad Lab based out here & to grab a few caches as well … this cache was easily found … log completed & then replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,816 for us.
We took a a longwinded route to this cache, and although the coordinates were good, and it was in full view, took quite a while to spot it. Not really terrain 3 though. TFTC
Found on a hot, sunny December day. Being in the area brought back memories of my childhood, so very happy to call in for a short holiday walk. Brilliant location and great hide. All good at GZ! Thanks for the cache!!
There was only one place where I encountered any muggles on today's adventure - about five meter from this cache's gz! They were put and stayed there for an extended period, so it will require a revisit.
Took a while to spot this one, but when you do, its pretty obvious.
Thanks for putting this here for me to find

Tftc!! Spent a while trying to find. And I too, looked from top instead of bottom and YES it was found
This took a while to find, climbed up and looked back down wondering where to try next when I spied it - tftc
After saying hello to some penguins nearby Pengi was feeling up for another look for this one. The fallen tree seems to have been vandalised since we were here last, or the worms have been having a good chew. Quick find this time, Pengi has his eye in today.
Cache 526 decided to bring the dogs to the reserve for a play and a run around today and chance grabbing this cache that had a couple of DNFs while I was here after the dogs had their play we headed to GZ I was quite disappointed to find the cache just laying on the ground in the middle of nowhere maybe it came loose in the strong winds and has blown down the hill ????? So after signing the cache I walked to 0m on my coordinates and placed the cache in the tree, fingers crossed this is roughly where it’s supposed to be maybe someone who has been there before could check and put it in 100% correct spot? Anyway cache is in great shape with its newly replaced log T4TC
There is new log book placed safely in the original spot
Happy hunting for daffodils
Happy hunting for daffodils
After attending an Event in town, off to Daffodil Bay to grab an elusive Granville cache of which I had been just too short and too nervous for tree climbing by myself before. The weather had set in with constant rain but this didn't deter us. This time I coerced Papa to do the honours of retrieving his bro's cache.
My thoughts at the time were that Granville was going to be the one to help, bit sad but nice to be able to be with family. Had a wee smile too as the rest of the group were usually the ones to order Granville up many trees in their caching excursions. thankyou for those memories dear friend

So Guwapo, Mama, and Papa are making the pilgrimage to find all of Uncle Granville's caches.
Granville's friends suggested meeting out at Daffodil Bay for this cache. The umbrellas were out in force due to the rain. Under the tree cover it wasn't too bad and it was Papa's task to scramble aloft and retrieve the cache.
Salamat!

A wander around the Daffodil Bay loop today. A bit of thinking and then cache in hand. Thanks for the cache.
A quick find here today while out chasing 365 caches for the year. We ran into LVL here and her expert guidance had us on the spot in no time. RIP Glenn, your legacy lives on with your caches that we will all keep active. [^]
Bike ride on Xmas day with KB to see if I can find tree climbing needed cache with some help from a more experienced tree climber

*December Summertime lol*. **3, 2, 1 Go!** *Week 1:3 Cache 1:2* Another challenge posted by Ground speak to add some more souvenirs to our galleries could not be missed starting and after a busy year completing the other challenges gobbling up just about every available cache for 100mi of my caching centre south of the line and edging closer to my 1600th cache and completing some personal goals; it's noice to finish the year with an easy peasy one only needing six caches. No pressure to rush out banging saturated areas and easing into the holiday season with a couple of caches to log each week. Co'ods had me staring at places before the right spot was found 25ft away and ascent was made to collect the cache. The tree is not as daunting as the Bally Valley willow (not recommended in rain) and pre-form camo cache soon in hand to sign log. Nothing auspicious about the date or DT but a find just the same. No daffodils left at Daffodil bay but luv the pink Ice Plants growing everywhere at the Point. TFTC
Pleased I new roughly where to look for this as there’s wasn’t any internet this morning. This is only the 2nd time I’ve done a cache like this. Once with the CO, around Ashburton with him giving great encouragement & this time with no one watching. Thank goodness. Felt very elegant. Yeah right. TFTC & not a daffodil in sight.
Looked in a few likely places but my skillset doesn't include the likely skill. Plus very muggle intensive today.
Sunny warm afternoon. Staying in RV at camp. Out for 2 hour ride o some awesome tracks and better still a handful of caches. Tftc
Enjoyed a walk around the loopy track with the CO and four wagging tails. Been a while since Mrs been around the track and Mr never... so been a lovely day off around the track we went... Thanks Granville86a for an interesting and different experience, nice to see something a bit different

Had a quick natter at GZ and then back in the cachemobile .
The log fire and slippers were calling.

A drizzly yucky Saturday afternoon had us relaxing at home, I was watching Netflix and Tuitigger was just nodding off when the notification of a new cache came through. I woke Tuitigger, dragged on some extra layers and off we went. Got to GZ and saw no familiar vehicles around... we might have a chance here... Cache found quickly, it's always an exciting moment when you open the book to find a fresh unsigned log and realising you're FTF. just as I was signing the log a familiar vehicle rumbled up and Annielin and DSInv hopped out. Stopped for a quick chat, then back home for date night. TFTC
Got up late, after the best sleep all week.
Turned the heat pump on, made a coffee, and checked all the overnight action on Stuff and Facebook.
Made some work things to make October easier before stock take next week.
Hung the work clothes out, and discovered it was a half decent day outside, I might just get the lawns done this afternoon after all.
Searchwisely made some yummy cheese scones, we ate them then I was about to doze off on the couch when she yelled that it raining, so out I went to collect the washing. Bugger, the lawns will have to wait another day, such a shame.
Back to the couch, as the rain came in sideways... had just nodded off again, Searchwisely yells New cache...
I thought she was joking... but she was busy putting her shoes on before I had a chance to wake up properly.
Seriously, who caches in this weather?
It was shortlived though, the rain stopped as we turned into Sandy Point.
We chose Wisely on the correct road, as other FTF hunters went further Downsouth, arriving a few moments after us. Looked for obvious spot before checking phone for coords, cache in hand as 2TFers came round the corner. Signed at 2.43, 30min after publication.
Had a quick chat, waited for others to turn up, but the cool conditions got the better of us.
A visit to Liqourland and Briscoes for new glasses before heading home to light the fire and make cocktails.
Thanks Granville for another dot day.
