Thanks CoxFamily7310 for placing Victoria Bridge to Town #3. Swampy and I headed back to plunder more of the Northern coast over the Hobart Show long weekend. 4 day long weekend for 1 days annual leave. Sweet. This is day 23 Devonport and surrounds. At least my log is not full of bad 80s references. This run has us finding both GC and GCA caches. So many caches, so little time. This is my GC find #2190 and was found on 26/10/2024 at 15:02FTF: Found with: SwampyWeather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Hi CoxFamily7310. Today we found your cache on the Devo trip for the year. VK7HCH and I hatched yet another plan to whip it up to the north to continue our plundering of caches both GC and GCA. As there are so many caches in this area we had freedom of choice to do those we wished to. We have solved a few puzzles so we can find those and lots of others. Although I didnt find the girl U want, the caches were enough. Its a beautiful world here in Tassie. Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find today. Finding this cache takes my GC finds to 5253 and I found it on Saturday 26 Oct 2024FTF: NoMates: VK7HCHMuggles: Condition: GoodWeather: slightly cloudyMy favorites:Creative - Back to the future 1 by peaches (GCA5JYD)Hardest - Men in Black Holes by SG-3 (Archived)Most visited - Dragons Lair by Shagzter (GC2E33)Tractable also visited your cache
Today we had 21 caches on the list to be found and 5 AL. We failed miserably and had multiple dnfs for the day. Many of the caches we are sure are there it just wasnt to be for us today. Never mind you get days like that! This one thankfully was a nice quick find with systematic searching. TFTC

Thanks for this series of caches CoxFamily7310.
Up north for a few days with RLD4963 and the two GeoGSP's, and this morning this series was our aim. This one was tricky, difficult to search for it discretely with a constant stream of muggles. Eventually RLD4963 found it, happy to turn this one into a smiley.

Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, a trial run with a scooter saw this an easy task to get to.
Found this a bit tricky in a very busy spot but found it eventually. Thanks.
After booking into the Discovery on the East side, i took the walk from there to the Spirit of Devonport then over to the west side to have a Coldie at a pub then onto this one after a string of cool hides in between

Have replaced the cache hope this one stays stuck as I have used some new magnets.
Up in Devonport for a few meetings and peppered with as much geocaching as practical.
Undertook the first three of this Victoria Bridge to Town series. This third one was easily spotted and a bit more difficult to retrieve and then replace. I waited for a break in the traffic to kneel down to collect, then waited again to reposition. TFTC

Formby Road is no place to cache and drive so I set out on foot from near #6 and walked backwards to #2. So a good 5 caches. All different and well placed.
Not a bad walk at all.
Thanks CoxFamily7310

Today was very overcast but not raining. So we decided to go for a walk in town and take some time to discover some of the caches along the river. This must be the king on mint tins.... so it was nice to discover something a little different today, during our finds. We did find some great locations and hide along the day today.
While the hubby grabbed some fuel nearby, I wandered over to make a find here, which was easy enough while avoiding the cycling traffic muggles.
Thanks CoxFamily7310 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Found this cache on the 19/07/20 with Angus 88 but forgot to log. Did the series on a cold wet day. Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie.
Out and about in the area caching with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. A lovely day to be out caching. Not too hot and not too cold, sounds like a fairy tale. A good variety of hides in this series. TFTC
Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a lovely summers day. We enjoyed the walk along the walkways. Some were harder to find than others. Great to see different containers along the way.
This has been a big day caching. A lot of muggles were out and about enjoying Australia Day. Cache and contents were in good condition, accurate co-ords led to a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

What are the odds, being super stealth looking for a cache when the CO drives past and blasts the horn and waves.
Another attempt to clean up some more of the Devonport caches saw this one changed to a smiley. Thanks for placing this cache.

I had to try many gaps before this one came to hand. Good co-ords helped. TNLN TFTC
A nice quick one for us this one was, we even got to sign the log from a nice seat.
After doing a 2y's series above Pardoe we wanted something a bit easy on our feet after being cooped out in the house for months my feet are not used to this walk lark!
We in fact parked cars at both ends of this section of caches so we didnt have to walk back.
This was a trip North primarily to meet up with some fellow cachers we had not seen in a very long time, Friday afternoon myself and Gooseandegg set off from Hobart to stay in Ulverstone for the night before meeting up with TazScout for a couple of days of caching along the North/Northwest Coast, we hadn't put much planning into it to be honest, with restrictions lifted we just wanted to catch up with some good friends and have a laugh.
Half of the caches we planned to find I had found some of before when they were listed as GCA caches and some of them even had their old containers with the GCA listing numbers in them, others were new series that had been put out since I was last up this way and we did our best to find as many as we could in the short time we had.
Thanks for all the caches

This could have been tricky but we did find it easily. It seems we all had the idea, what a finely tuned team we are . Apart from a cement train when we parked a car near number 2, it was very quiet on the waterfront today.
Thanks CoxFamily7310

Running out of interesting commentary but a quick find on a weekend out with SS Rat, Goose and Egg
Today gridge98 and I headed to the North west to do the moorland trail, another trail in Devonport and a few around Latrobe. A great day out, this cache was found along the way.
Apologies for the late and generic log.

I remember when The first of this series got published but the rest was yet to follow, finally it came out but on my last trip to he state it just didn’t happen, today was the day and we decided to go for a nice walk along the trail collecting the variety of hides, some harder than other but all in all in great condition.
Today nettieknows and myself headed to the Mersey/Devonport area to collect some new and unfound caches in the area. We tackled the new moorland series, Victoria bridge to town series and a few around Latrobe. It’s great to get out and about in such a time we live in.

We think it might have fallen down because me and my partner couldn’t find it at all
Found it when staying in Devonport during my motorcycle holiday on this marvelous island.
Have arrived in Devonport and have decided to do a few caches while the weather is ok before the CITO.
That was a bit tricky! Good hide.

A Day off and Geo Kid E's exams are over so it was decided to have a go at the caches around Devonport that had sprung up since the last time we were there - and so many there were.
So we set off at 6 am and returned at 10.15 pm pretty exhausted. The trip included 67 finds and 5 DNF's and about 8 hours driving time.

A nice safe place to pull up on the bikes here. Got the required information to finish calculating the multi and then wandered along to GZ to grab this container. A very sensible placement of this one indeed.
This was the last in the series for us having found #1 and 2 previously.
Thanks for the series CoxFamily7310.

Out and about on another Sunday walk with Keepy2004. It was a lovely day to have a wander through to town on a part of the track we don’t use much. Luckily for us, there were plenty of newly published caches to find, some of which were found today. We found a nice variety of caches, some very interestingly hidden, while others were nice and easy to grab, SL, and move on. All of which were very enjoyable, and will be a lot of fun for future cachers to come.
We had a total of eight finds today, and only one DNF.
After a brief search, Keepy2004 showed me where it was. Aha! Nice little hide. Thanks for accurate coordinates, and a cache in good condition.

Couldn't find this one working my way down to Victoria Bridge No.1 so on my return thought that I would have another look from a different perspective, still no luck. Therefore a DNF.
Got the bug still, after bagging 12 along the Don River last weekend. Thought we could polish off the Mersey this week ! Nice clean hide. Thanks for another one.
we found 7 out of 7 caches today. with plenty of new caches published yesterday we knew we had to find some ASAP. thanks CoxFamily7310 for all of the new caches. this cache was very sneaky with a not so obvious hiding place. found with Chickenman21.TFTC!
