Knew what we were looking for due to crossing notes but still dnf. We think it’s missing or coordinates are way out.
Looked for this one twice once on my way from the start then again on the end was writing out my dnf and out of the corner of my eye I had a cache in hand!
After booking into the Discovery on the East side, i took the walk from there to the Spirit of Devonport then over to the west side to have a Coldie at a pub then onto the 2nd one.
Found quickly and SL at 16:18 on Tue 23/11/21.

Found it. Nice cache hide. Last one for the day. I think a hot bath is calling me.
Today we are in the Devonport area and our geocaching aims are to collect as many outstanding caches as practical and to also collect the local Adventure Labs. It is a beautiful spring day, a crisp 16 degrees and the sun is shining. We think this is the first time we have geocached in the last several months without needing a rain coat or an umbrella, how joyful.
Now that it is late afternoon there are much fewer muggles around and much less traffic so we decided to tackle the last four of the Victoria Bridge to Town series. A very large freight train as just leaving the station as we found and logged this one. Another clever hide along this series TFTC

Found easily. Logbook soggy, container has water in and pencil missing. Nice hide though. Thanks for this cache as well
Formby Road is no place to cache and drive so I set out on foot from near #6 and walked backwards to #2. So a good 5 caches. All different and well placed.
Not a bad walk at all.
Thanks CoxFamily7310

Thanks CoxFamily7310
Today was very overcast but not raining. So we decided to go for a walk in town and take some time to discover some of the caches along the river. This must be the king on mint tins.... so it was nice to discover something a little different today. We did find some great locations and hide along the day today.
Another something different along this enjoyable walk. A quick find once at GZ.
Thanks CoxFamily7310 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Looked around the antique emporium then found this cool cache.

Out and about in the area caching with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. A lovely day to be out caching. Not too hot and not too cold, sounds like a fairy tale. A good variety of hides in this series. TFTC
Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a lovely summers day. We enjoyed the walk along the walkways. Some were harder to find than others. Great to see different containers along the way.
This has been a big day caching. A lot of muggles were out and about enjoying Australia Day. Cache and contents were in good condition, accurate co-ords led to a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Great hide, had to wait for a long time for a gap in the muggle traffic.
Another attempt to clean up some more of the Devonport caches saw this one changed to a smiley. Thanks for placing this cache.

nother day off from and I decided it would be worth trying to clean up a few dnfs in Devonport and doing the moorland walk for a second time. Left Hobart at 7am with geo kid e in tow. Weather was fine in Hobart as apparently it was all day. Stopped, refilled car and got breakfast on the way in Kempton. A very nice egg and bacon sandwich to fuel to day.
Back on the road again, with geo kid’s nose in his Nintendo ds and me following that dotted line that has become common Again over the last forthright.
Just past Oatlands some dark clouds and the first sign of some rain. This cleared up by around Campbell town.
My second drive of the new road by passing Perth. It’s a very clean and easy way through the area. Have to give this a tick of approval.
As we approached Devonport there was some dark clouds, but these past over before arriving at the moorlands end of the track... started with the first few caches on the eastern end and then walked along to the western end. This track is very poor. Trees down in many places and simply a difficult walk along the “track” .... and I use the word track very loosely.
Eventually got all the caches and fought back out to the beach, the walk along the beach was a lot easier. All coordinates were good except for number 8 which was about 10 metres out according to my gps on the day.
Anyway little drive around to the other track and started by collecting the few that I didn’t attempted due to the rain last time, and then the cache “waiting for the ferry - gnarled and old tree” which I dnfed last time. Nice to get this one of the list.
Next it was the walk to the point.... interestingly one of the caches I found was very familiar.... coastal walk... which was found to be familiar as my name was already in the log book.... I must have found it and not logged my find. Oh well, at least I can mark it off now.
Most of these caches were fairly simple. 7 provided a problem as it was fairly well buried.
Walking back to the car was easier as we left a few caches to walk to, so the walk back had something to do.
From there we went to Devonport to get rid of some dnfs and a few adventure labs. 4 ways was nice to mark off along with the last of the walkway caches. Grabbed lunch while at 4 ways, and it started to rain while eating in the car. I said this is probably a shower.
Well. How wrong was I. It continued to rain for the rest of the day. A few small breaks allowed us to grab a few adventure caches without getting to wet, but quite a few we had to simply brave the elements to get the caches. Really enjoyed the adventure caches in Devonport and the bonus caches.
As it was raining heavily by the time we finished the adventure caches, we drove towards port Sorell to grab the 5 or so new caches out on the roads around there before heading for Perth to grab the nice little cache in the wetlands.
From there a quick detour to Launceston work office, and then off towards home. 46 caches I believe for the day.
As we pasted Oatlands would you believe it stopped raining.... weird it was only rain8ng north of Oatlands.
Arrived home at 7.30 which is an early day for caching in the north of the state.

Great to get this one while up here and clear another dnf. Very clear hide

We are up from Hobart for some R&R before Lady membsec is out of action for a few months. We don’t have any real plans and have already changed our plans many times. Took advantage of a sunny but cold day today.
This cache was disabled the last time we came up so was nice to collect this time!
When we went to put this one back how we found it we had trouble, then we realised it wasn’t replaced properly last time so fixed it up how it was intended, amazed the lid stayed in place last time!!
Loved the container so a favourite point from us!

I must have been attacked by a severe case of cache blindness when I was here just after the New Year because today it was a quick find.
With Maggie. TFTC. Found on our TASMANIA ALL OVER journey. Join us on Facebook page of that name.
When i spotted this i noticed the goose was looking at it too so we signed the log as the others were going what was it
After doing a 2y's series above Pardoe we wanted something a bit easy on our feet after being cooped out in the house for months my feet are not used to this walk lark!
We in fact parked cars at both ends of this section of caches so we didnt have to walk back.
This was a trip North primarily to meet up with some fellow cachers we had not seen in a very long time, Friday afternoon myself and Gooseandegg set off from Hobart to stay in Ulverstone for the night before meeting up with TazScout for a couple of days of caching along the North/Northwest Coast, we hadn't put much planning into it to be honest, with restrictions lifted we just wanted to catch up with some good friends and have a laugh.
Half of the caches we planned to find I had found some of before when they were listed as GCA caches and some of them even had their old containers with the GCA listing numbers in them, others were new series that had been put out since I was last up this way and we did our best to find as many as we could in the short time we had.
Thanks for all the caches

I have found a few like this over the years. I even have one (not hidden) so as soon as I spotted it I knew. SSR honed in on it at the same time.
Muggles would not have a clue as they walk or cycle past.
Thanks CoxFamily7310

Clever!!
Today gridge98 and I headed to the North west to do the moorland trail, another trail in Devonport and a few around Latrobe. A great day out, this cache was found along the way.
Apologies for the late and generic log.

I remember when The first of this series got published but the rest was yet to follow, finally it came out but on my last trip to he state it just didn’t happen, today was the day and we decided to go for a nice walk along the trail collecting the variety of hides, some harder than other but all in all in great condition.
Today nettieknows and myself headed to the Mersey/Devonport area to collect some new and unfound caches in the area. We tackled the new moorland series, Victoria bridge to town series and a few around Latrobe. It’s great to get out and about in such a time we live in.

Clever one. Found it after a bit of hunting around. Having trouble replacing because someone pulled up and is staring at me
WELL ! We walked down from the car dealership where our old vehicle is awaiting the verdict on its airbag status. Looks like its a buy-back candidate, so might be forking out for a replacement pretty soon. BUGGER !
Anyway found this different cache, very clever and unlikely to get muggled I would think.
This completes our run along Formby Rd now. Thanks CoxFamily7310

I dismissed this on the way past but on my way back decided to give it a go. I was rewarded TFTC
This one is back in play, sorry for the delay. Garden has been re done so lets hope this one is safe.
On this busy, busy road this one was quickly spotted but took a while to be able to retrieve it. It was on the wrong side of the track to use the bikes to give us a bit of cover.
There were a few missed spots in the log book so signed in one of those. Thanks, a nice hide.

Out and about on another Sunday walk with Keepy2004. It was a lovely day to have a wander through to town on a part of the track we don’t use much. Luckily for us, there were plenty of newly published caches to find, some of which were found today. We found a nice variety of caches, some very interestingly hidden, while others were nice and easy to grab, SL, and move on. All of which were very enjoyable, and will be a lot of fun for future cachers to come.
We had a total of eight finds today, and only one DNF.
I really liked the concept of this cache, unfortunately however, it was out of its hiding spot. After the logbook was signed, Keepy2004 re-buried the cache, so that it is blended in more for future finders.

we found 7 out of 7 caches today. with plenty of new caches published yesterday we knew we had to find some ASAP. thanks CoxFamily7310 for all of the new caches. this i a very creative cache and have never seen anything like it. we walked straight past it and after 5 minutes of looking we found it and wondered how we missed it. found with Chickenman21.TFTC!!
We had to out wait several muggles before looking for this cache. We checked one lot of possibilities - nothing. Then we moved to another series of objects, again with our finding anything. One of us then looked down and spotted the 'what's that doing here' object. On closer inspection we found we had the cache container. Again we found a blank log book giving us a {FTF} at 19:25.
Thanks for this cache in the series CoxFamily7310. Liked the container which was in good condition.
