Even though the field was closed there were plenty of dog walkers about so it took some stealth to get this one. TFTC
Now I'm 'all but'. Just one more day to fill all 366 days of my cache calendar. Thanks for placing such a handy cache.

Three new caches in the area of where i stay when visiting new Plymouth and they were soon all in hand . i am told that a geocacher actually lives right opp. this cache. I accompanied my M in Law to this park each evening as she likes to do a lap of the park each day for exercise.
thanks for this new cache.
thanks for this new cache.
That was a very good hiding spot. It took me and my dad a little while to find it because we were looking in the wrong area. Thanks for hiding this cache.

Took a while searching for this elusive one. But finally got it snagged and tagged. Cheers
Day 12- Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24 December. Around New Plymouth again today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

Thanks N0kn0w for the cache. It’s #1149 for us. We found your cache on 23 December 2019. Coordinates definitely out by 5m! Hint gives it away!!
Quick grab here today before heading out to tea with my grandparents. It has been a sad geocaching day for me today as I accidentally ran over my GPS unit this morning and it is no longer with us. Neat little cache in a nice spot. Tftc

I went in for the find and had my hand on the container straight away. We sheltered ourselves on the other side of the tree and hoped the log wouldn’t blow away while we signed it...sooooo windy!! TFTC
Coords placed it in the middle of the access driveway so couldn't be there. A short search to find the well camoued cache in a snug place indeed. Well done N0kn0w. Tftc
