### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

----------

G'day there 2max,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The cache has been [temporarily disabled](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, Post an [Owner Maintenance log](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating what you have done and that the cache is back as it should be. Then [ENABLE your cache](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) and sit back and wait for the logs of thanks and delight to roll in. Smile

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately) Surprised, so without a note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area has been flooded, the cache is in a remote/difficult to access location, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
All you need do is to [post a Write Note log](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=234) to the page (within 14 days). **Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.** When a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine, for a little bit longer. Cool
**If you have a long term unavailability (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [Adopt your cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54). [^] Alternatively, you need to [Archive the cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. [xx(] It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then.

Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

Found the cache ok, but the tree is now a pile of loss and branches lying on the ground. Suspect the tree and cache won't survive much longer

The last weekend of daylight savings - Time to head away for the weekend to the Latrobe Valley for some exploring, camping and caching with RoamingHowie.

Nothing matching the hint any more. Just a pile waiting for a burnoff. Interesting gates though.

Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, 2max

It’s road trip time. With plenty of places out east that have yet to be explored, OzHockeyChick and I set off to see some sights in Gippsland.

GZ now looks like a pile of loose trees and branches piled up ready for a burn off day. Almost about to give up, OzHockeyChick spotted this one. I’m guessing this might not have been how the cache first started off it’s life as it is quite and odd hide location.

Thanks 2max for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

We’re out for a Sunday drive as I’ve been busy with work all week and M’s sprained ankle is still too sore for him to walk any distance so we decided to clean up some of the caches in this area. Thanks for showing us these gates. We probably wouldn't have even noticed their distinctive style even it hadn't been brought to our attention!

Thanks for find #1948

Continuing on my journey to Seaspray from last night. Today it's a beautiful day, warm and clear. Today I like Victoria.
A quick find in good condition. The land here is golden and flat. It's 4ained in the last couple months allowing farmers to bale grass. Animals look fat and happy. Such a nice contrast to QLD. Lovely spot.

We had a series of caches to look for today with ilook4geo, but the caching was clearly going to be weather dependent as we were heading west towards predicted rain. This one was located before the rain happened and we were pleased to go on record as STF. The featured gates certainly were strongly constructed. Thanks go to 2max for placing this cache, which was an easy find.

Did not find as many caches today as the weather turned wet as we went further west with goingplaces2. Each log found was signed and replaced before we moved on. All caches were in good condition with plenty of room to sign on each log. Thanks to each owner for their contribution to the game.
