This is our first trip away in our campervan since mid April. Greymouth and the surrounding area has the best forecast. So once again we headed for 3 nights in Greymouth. I spotted the hide from a different angle.
#22974. The objects covering the tank were easily spotted (loved the tank). TFTC.
While I was wondering where the water tank was, StreetWalkerNZ just got stuck in and found the cache. Aah, all is revealed. Cute wee container.
Lovely bush, but a bit of a chilly walk this morning. TFTC.

Area dangerous with hidden drops over 3m deep. Couldn’t see anything obvious for a cache location.
Found this one on our walk. Took a few minutes of hunting. Love the purple log book, it matched our pen. That was really cool.
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the Nelson Creek Recreation Reserve Campsite … we decided to go for a walk after we arrived to see if we could find some local caches … this cache easily found, completed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #4,017 for us.
Walking the loop track this morning.
A very cool water tank and a good hide. Thanks for bringing me here.

Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
The water races are deep.
Cheers, Cympull.

Checked with the family (LMA&J + their Mum, Ray and Isabelle) while here to do the new Adventure Lab.
We decided to do the whole loop which we hadnt done since 2019. The kids had our pen but dropped it along the way so we will have to find this another time.

Spending the winter woofing, tramping and exploring the west coast caching along the way ..of course..
Back in greymouth for a while working at the Noah's ark backpackers...so a good base to tick off a few more..
Set myself a mission to hit 8000 finds by the end of the year...that's an average of 6 a day ..
Back in the area for a second time to finish of the hold em series...great place to park and walk the rest...tackling the ones in the reserve first...hopefully by the end of today will have beaten my monthly find total...
Nice quick find as the cache was in full view...added more camo as I left tftc

A pleasant loop walk gathering a few caches along the way... cache all good many thanks LMA & J..back to camp to rehydrate
We are fascinated with the very deep water races. Wouldn't want to be digging those, but I guess it's better than being in a mine. Points for the novel container here. Thanks for bringing us here.
What a lovely walk before we have a drink - in our camper for the night at the Reserve - TFTC
We found the ater tank, a nice quick find, thanks.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee jaunt to the West Coast, to "climb another mountain". Today we went home. Very moody on the west coast, a bit drizzly, a bit sunny. Good to get home though.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

GPS got a bit confused under the trees but we managed to find and sign. TFTC
I did the circuit walk but missed the one at the carpark but will be back another time as we really want to stay here again and do the other walks. Cheers
I parked my snail shell in the Nelson Creek Reserve yesterday . So today before the forecasted showers came I decided to do the 3 caches across the bridge and the one by the river in the Reserve.
I took the long way to get here via Colls Dam. I know that I couldn't be one of the men who dug those water races. My shoulders are too wide. But in those days the men were undernourished and therefore smaller.
Cheers for the cache.

I enjoyed this walk and exploring the area. A bonus there were a couple of caches along the way! Thanks for the hide.
Well well well, a tank of a cache. Nice little stroll around the circuit, "tanks" for the cache.
We decided to come for a wee walk to see if we could find the caches that had been placed since we were last in the area. We took a wrong turn and ended up walking a look through where the gold prospectors go, not much of a track to follow, but we eventually popped out on a track. Then we looked at the phone again and saw where we went wrong. A quick walk along the nice easy track and we soon spotted the cache out in the open, We signed the log and then popped a rock on top to stop the animals from disturbing it again.
We were surprised that we were only the second visitors to this cache
Thanks for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

FTF With Holymu. We've found caches around here before but were drawn into the area a bit more this time. The area is criss-crossed by so many water races that we can only hope and assume that this back breaking work was all worth it. And skinny little men they would have needed to be too. A water tank would have been handy here no doubt but would have needed to be a real big one. A cool cache and well worth a fav. Thank you LMA and _J

We fully expected that these new caches here may have been found even if not logged yet so it was an extra bonus to find a blank log.
We decided to walk the whole loop to get here and since I hadn't looked at the cache page properly on my phone I was looking for a water tank so that was a bit tricky Allysa and Jaxson. I will have to look at the page more carefully.
Fortunately my phone told me where I needed to go to find this clever cache.
Well done on your first hide and thank you.
