What a pitty I couldn't do the rim walk. It rained all night, maybe the stones are slippery, I stayed in the resortThanks WiFi I could see the cache here on the map. A nice walk in the Red Center. Found quickly and well. Thanks for showing. I hope one day I can come backGreetings Elfenzauber from Germany ( at the other side of the world )
This one was to close to our accomodation not to be made. So I took the little deviation after breakfast and had my cache of the day. TFTCmagicchicken
Quick stop here for lunch after visiting Kings Canyon this morning. Hike up and found the cache without difficulty. Log signed. TFTC
Found it! Left it in its glass jar, despite last comments, as people have been putting trinkets in it.
Drove up from Ayers Rock to stay at the lodge for a couple nights. Had a little time before the dinner rush, so grabbed this cache. Surprised to find a glass container. Will try to acquire a plastic or metal replacement before we leave Sunday. Found with Mrs D and TravelDragon99. Left a tic-tac-toe toy. TFTC
As the original container seema to have re-appeared could the next visitor please remove the glas container?
Staying at the campsite for a couple of nights, and this cache was so close it would have been rude not to try and find it.Coordinates we're good and I went straight to it.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for hiding and enabling me to continue my hobby.
After a little hike up hill we found the cache, the old micro and a newer jar. We put them together after logging.Team Mavos- Albert and Maria
Before we start with the King Canyon Rim Walk wwe found this cache today. This was an easy find. Thanks for the cache
Unser Cache des Tages dank WLAN! Tftc and greetings from Minimuff from Mannheim/Germany
So kiwinic and I along with my parents just did a chopper flight over the canyon and decided to go for a walk across from where we are staying and find this little guy hiding nicely in amongst the rocks! TFTC:)
I was looking on the side of the track, hubby not so, thank goodness lolGreat cache to look for..Thank goodness this walk was a short oneExcellent view this early in the morning
Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.A quick walk into the bush and found this one easily while we had lunch at the resort. Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
A quick find while recovering at the resort having just completed the Kings Canyon Rim walk. Glad this one was located right at the beginning of the Ridge walk! TFTC
Visited with O319 after enjoying lunch nearby following our completion of the Kings Canyon Rim Walk.
First time I've been out caching in a long time but since I'm out here at Kings Canyon I had to go for this one. It took me a little while to get my hide eye back in but I got there soon enough, assisted by about 500 flies! Tftc
Found 24/4/2024. I am brand new to geocaching, this is my first cache Ive found. I am not however new to the canyon, or the resort. I currently work as a bartender at the resort, and I have been here over a year now, but I first worked at the resort in 2019, with that stint coming to an end mere weeks before you placed this cache, on the 16 of September 2019. Id be curious to know which manager offered to be caretaker of the cache for you, because though 90(ish)% of 2019 staff are no longer here, there are still a few who have either stayed, or like myself returned, and it would be interesting if that manager was still here! Either way, great spot, highly recommend the ridge walk to guests of the resort and if theyre into geocaching, to try and find this little cache!
Ocw the Bebes as we stay at the van park a few days. Nice easy find at GZ. Tftc
OCW PelDroedGwin Staying at Kings Canyon Resort for a few days, took the short stroll over to this cache in the afternoon.Tftc
We are staying at the nearby resort, so of course we had to pop over and find this geocache. It was a quick find. Greetings from San Francisco, California and TFTC!
First find for 2024 while spending New Years break in the area. Found by GeoPartner who seems to have better hunting skills than me today. TFTC.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case kamla, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
Found after the walk on the canyon rim. Before we left Kings canyon resort. Thank you for the cache.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches.Today we ware on the way in Kings Canyon and we did a few nice caches.CO thanks for bringing us on this nice place and make this cache.

Found by The Empire + HAfter the physically demanding and awe-inspiring Kings Canyon Rim Walk, the idea of heading to the pub for a cold beer was like a mirage in the desert. Our legs, weary from the hike, seemed to carry us with extra determination as we made our way to the welcoming establishment. The moment we stepped inside, the cool air and lively atmosphere provided a refreshing contrast to the arid outdoors. Laughter and chatter filled the air as fellow hikers shared their own stories of conquest and marvel from the day's adventure.Taking a seat, we eagerly ordered a couple of cold, frosty beers, the condensation on the glasses testament to their refreshing chill. The first sip was like a reward for our efforts, a taste of triumph and relaxation. The beer seemed to wash away the fatigue, leaving a satisfying sense of accomplishment.A quick find here! Thanks for the cache kamla.- M@empiregeocaching
Found during a 4 night stay in the resort on a 3 week road trip with the kids, thanks for the cache
We've arrived this afternoon to stay a few days to do the Kings Canyon Rim Walk tomorrow so today I decided to come out for a short warm-up hike! I love it when there's a geocache to find as well.

Found during three weeks away with e.gregory1 on a trip along WA's Great Central Road and a caching circuit of the WA Goldfields. We travelled North on the Stuart Highway and out to Kings Canyon to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From there we headed in a south-westerly direction along the Great Central Road with a number of detours along the way, including Surveyor Generals Corner and Empress Spring. Then it was down to Laverton and Leonora before turning South to Menzies and Kalgoorlie. A few days were spent on a circuit back up to Lake Carey and around to Queen Victoria Spring before returning to Kalgoorlie, then out to Coolgardie, Kambalda and Norseman, before heading for home along the Eyre Highway. Thanks for the cache kamla!
Found on another enjoyable trip with FeatherWaite through South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia over 3 weeks. This time the plan was to head up to Kings Canyon, across to the WA border via Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, then down the Great Central Road, with a few side-trips along the way before eventually getting to the Goldfields and then home via Queen Victoria Springs and the Eyre Highway.
We had some mixed weather to start, with a few overnight showers, but warm temperatures and mostly sunny days.
We had been to Kings Canyon 5 years ago, but that was before this cache was published. It was good to be able to return to the area. The cache was a quick find after a short walk.
Thanks kamla for the cache.

After a very frightning night in a tent with some thunder storm clusters and lot of rain we started with this cache into the new day. Thanks for hiding this one and as always TFTC, MumDad2000.
Found before leaving for Uluru.
Had a really good time in Kings Canyon, including the rim walk.
Spectacular!
Many thanks says Schmile1707

Found with Kat33, Mumzi and TheGrunch. Greeting's from Calgary, Canada! After one day in Sydney we were in the air once more and hit up another site we had seen almost ten years ago and was the main reason we wanted to come back to the area. TheGrunch in particular really wanted to check out Uluru once more so we scheduled some time in this trip to head on over here once more. The flight went well and soon we were disembarking from the plane with a view of Uluru in the distance, kind of tough to beat that introduction here, . Got settled in the hotel. We had booked the same one was we tried previously, the Desert Gardens, partially due to some of the other options being sold out, which surprised us considering we're in the middle of the summer heat (not sure it ever dropped from 35 degrees during the day time while we're here). TheGrunch had wanted to check out King's Canyon (something we hadn't done prior) and had a choice in terms of which cache to target. Stuck with the easier walk and enjoyed the creek walk where we picked up the virtual there. One advantage of this decision was that we were brought back to the resort where we had a leisurely lunch and found the traditional along one of the pathways there. Yesterday brought us to Uluru itself and we did a traditional hike from the Mutitjulu water hole to the cultural centre by way of Kantju Gorge. Today we hit up Kata Tjuta and picked up the two earth caches there by doing a couple of leisurely hikes! This cache was cache 2 of 3 and was found on 2023.03.05 at 10:42:00 AM for a total of 5129. No dnf's as well which is always awesome to say! TFTC kamla!

Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north via Coober Pedy to Alice Springs. We hiked around the impressive Uluru and through the beautiful Kata Tjuta and breathtaking Kings Canyon.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Ich bedanke mich bei kamla für den Cache, das Zeigen dieses Ortes, das Legen und Pflegen der Dose und den Spaß beim Finden! Thanks for the cache!

Quick found, when staying for 2 nights in Kings Canon. Greetings from Germany. TFTC
After the walk in Kings Canyon, we stopped and just came searching this one before going to our room, relaxing in our bath with a view Tftc
Unplanned we need to stay a night on the campground. But it was really worth it. The next day befoee heading towards Tanami road we had some time to look after this container and could easyily spot it.
Our last full day here and we had the chance to quickly find this cache.
Kings Canyon Resort only has wifi connections for either Telstra or Optus devices, I was able to hotspot off one of them to find the cache.
Cache was exactly were the description said it would be and is good condition.

Continuing our trip from Melbourne to Darwin and back, we are spending a few days at Kings Canyon doing some walking including the famous Kings Canyon Rim Walk, also enjoyed a helicopter ride over the surrounding areas.
Very sore feet by this time but we always need one more, thankfully not too far up this rocky slope

On our first long Winter holiday as new "Grey Nomads" or "Happy Wanderers" . We enjoyed our second sunset on the ranges after an awesome day hiking the Rim Walk (recommend an early start), pub lunch and topping it off with a helicopter flight and all with Muggle friends, Tania & John.
Thanks to Geocaching we wandered out here on dusk, great sunset colours and made it back to the Geo'Van without needing the headlamp.

Out with Shumba7 ???? on a road trip through the centre to Birdsville for the Big Red Bash. TFTC
We are here at Kings Canyon from Brisbane via Darwin and Uluru. We went to watch the sunset at the yellow caravan and saw that there was a geocache a few hundred metres away and had to get it. Unfortunately I didn’t have a pen with us but we took a photo of the log with a very distinctive scenery around us so I hope that suffices. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. Found with Algae ️we are on a road trip from Ballarat to Birdsville, off to the big red bash. Grabbing some smilies along the way in some towns. Saw a squirrel up a tree here…
