Logs
Cache found about 11m out from GZ but the hint made up for it. Logbook is damp and container is letting water in.
13:11Up to the cairn nearby, then back down the hill to find this one. That definitely helped work off the fine spread we'd helped consume earlier. Thanks, -e^ip.#8939
Find # 10301Following on from the morning events and a visit to grugthethug's cairn, nirgalagrin and I headed across the road for this hide. All in good order here.
Having done the 1,000 steps I looked for a couple of others in the area. This was our last for the day. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache -eip
I'm home for Easter and thought that it would be nice to go for a drive up into the Dandenongs. I've been trying to solve a puzzle, and came up with a good answer, but the Geochecker didn't like it Instead, I came to find a few others in the area. It was lovely to go for a walk during golden hour. I really should come up here more often. Thanks for the cache, -e^ip
A pleasant Sunday afternoon outing to find a few caches after dropping off a family member to an event nearby. This was a reasonably quick find, after pausing to let the GPS settle a couple of times. A good hint helped, and the container was soon found in good dry condition. TFTC -e^ip
A great summer afternoon search for the closest cache to our house. Cache #2 for us. Book was a little damp but we dried it out and its back in the bag. Good luck to whoever finds it next.
Out for a bit of a detour with the faithful geoGroodle on the way to get coffee at my favourite cafe in Ferntree Gully. A bit of bush bashing with a 42kg ball of curly wool is always fun, but he is a good and brave lad who is always up for an adventure. The finer parts of manoeuvring around to find the chase were moderately challenging, but we got there. TFTC
In the vicinity to find a newly published cache and decided I had time for a stroll to collect some others on the map.
Cache in good condition, and views still lovely!

TFTC. my gps is a little off today. Nice easy find when you channel you geosenses
It was lying out on ground in plain sight. Assume it had got knocked out of it’s obvious perch.wish I owned a house right here!! TFTC
TFTC. The hint and previous logs assisted with the find and reduced bush bashing time. Giddy up
After a zig zagging drive from the previous cache GJMMelb and I parked nearby and walked in to GZ where J spotted the cache hide from a distance (though not the cache itself apparently). G & I did spot the cache peeking out though so G made sure to cover it better before we headed back to the cars.
Beware! - there are blood-sucking leeches as well as mozzies - I luckily spotted the one on my pants (at full stretch) before it had a chance to feast on me - as they always do it was less than keen to let go of me but I eventually managed to get it off my fingers and back into the bush...

Out for a late arvo of caching with quiet1_au, we headed here next. GMelb and q1 had arrived at GZ and I was a bit further behind and said oh I bet it’s there and there it was! Once logged GMelb rehid a bit better and we set off back to the car, where once on the way again q1 discovered an unwanted attachment (a leech!) so that was swiftly dealt with at the next location!

Out and about on a Saturday, somehow I ended up in Tremont, so I checked if there were any caches close by. This one was a nice quick find.
This was a bit of a bush bash from the path and as previous loggers the cache is about 10m off coords. However, when at coords, pan around and you will see where it will be. T4tc
Quick find on a chilly afternoon having spent the morning working the area for caches- birds were out in force today even a kookaburra had interest in our teabag taking it off us, only to discover it was not all he thought is was. Picked up a leach or too also in the process!!
The Eye level bit helped! Yippee bingo bango! Fun day out just beyond the burbs and lucky for me within the 15 km allowed and so along with a few other missions here I am. This was not exactly on my radar but it’s too close to ignore! Either way, it’s refreshing to be exploring the Dandenongs and wandering in the bush to make the find. In Melbs on carers duty again, so glad to to be here before the joe blakes get too active. Coordinates were good and this country gal was very happy with that. TFTC AND THE FUN.
Got it eventually... our GPS was off and we went around in circles for a while. Good little hunt!
Thanks guys, we had to wander around a little bit. It’s at adult head hight. I took the rotten egg bomb hahaha. Tftc
Found on a quick break at work. I followed some roo trails to get down to GZ. It's a pretty part of the forest! I'm glad it was a chilly day today so there were no snakes around.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Because it was a cooler day today so I decided to tackle some of the caches in the local area that I had chosen not to explore too extensively in the past due to snakey potential .. I have had a couple of close encounters with our slithery friends whilst geocaching but not today. I parked nearby and wandered along the track towards the search area .. there was a lovely geotrail leading down the hill which made searching a little easier which was fortunate as my phone’s GPS wasn’t cooperating. Found the cache nice and safe in its hiding place .. thank you -e^ip for placing and maintaining the cache.

Found it! getting back into it after a bit of a break. And I’ve started walking 10000 steps every day. So this morning was the time to find this cache as it is only 2.5 kms as the crow flies from home!! 8kms and a giant hill later, I am home again!! TFTC SL
Parked nearby and walked down to GZ. A group of Parks Victoria and fire management staff where sitting nearby having lunch(?). I disappeared into the bush and quickly found the cache. When I returned most of the staff had headed off. They didn't seem to be interested in my activities. Thanks to -e^ip for the cache.
Finally, a much needed caching catch-up with Mrs Papi4506.
We stopped and admired the magnificent views before finding and signing log.

A nice short stroll and OHC had the cache in hand quickly. Log was signed and returned to it's hide and back to the car we went. The view from up here is spectacular. Would be a stunning place to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks or even see the lights at night time. Thanks for the cache and showing us this view.

No cold or mozzies today but was still on the lookout for wriggle sticks as I was wearing shorts. Anyway, no problems there and cache quickly found, signed and replaced.

It’s great to be out within my five k’s on a walk on this glorious day as today. This was quick to find. it was great to get out with the views are amazing up here
Found @05:57 #7345
Some great views close to GZ and this morning at this time there was still a visible full moon to the west and the signs of a blood orange sunrise to the east, impressive. Lucky people live here a great spot.
This was a good one for training and anyone who likes a steep approach in places, with the approach taken from the south to GZ. A tad windy at GZ but satisfying to reach and catch a breath for a cruise jog back down the hill.
Day 91 of 366 completed.

Found by edmil. Just up the road from us so went for a bit of a wander in the fresh air. Nice quick find thanks fir the cache.
We were sitting at home quite bored on this Saturday as our basketball finals had been postponed due to coronavirus, so we decided it would be a good time to go and find some caches as a family of 5. After finding some more nearby caches, we decided that a little detour to get one or two more couldn't hurt us. After bush-bashing our way through to GZ, Geo-Kid #3 came up with the find. Tftc -e^ip
Bit of an uphill climb from the cache at the Point of Olivette but definitely a great view of Melbourne on the way.
took a bit of work to find as the my phones location services were a little off up here and its a bit higher than our eye lines. Cool idea with the dog tags!! Also found a cool bird skull and a pen on our way back!
Spiffy- had many plans for leap day and attending as many events as possible was the key plan. His dedication saw him attend 7 events in 1 day.
Made a quick find here today. All in good condition.
Thanks to -e^ip for the placement and fun.

With a lot of driving yesterday for a 7 event day today was going to be more subdued ... or so I thought ... we ended up in the mountains chasing and getting another FTF for 2 days in a row.
After bidding goodbye to GeoTurtle37, Papi4506 and OzHockeyChick, Fleabag and I headed out for a few more.
I managed to park quite nearby and Fleabag then made the find on this one.
Thanks -e^ip for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

New phone is consistently about 9m our. But I guess I know that, I can work around it! I don’t know why we haven’t got this one before, but I was happy for the excuse to drive up my favourite local st. Love the view. TFTC.
A wild windy evening, I nearly got blown away. I was on the way to going out with some friends but I needed to continue my streak, and after failing to find two caches around Belgrave I headed up here to this easier find.
Our very first official Geocache. Wouldn't want to look for this one at night! My GPS was inaccurate, saying we were 9M away.
Beautiful late afternoon to pick up a nearby cache and fill in a hole in my Finds calendar. I did get distracted by a number of butterflies for a minute only to be interrupted by Cracka1s "found it" TFTC
We have cached here before I am sure! Headed down and as usual when on a slope, the GPSr took me to the wrong spot at first.
Thanks -e^ip
Feedback: I don't think the average cacher - especially female would easily be able to get that cache - should be rated a T of 2.0.

We were in Olinda looking at the shops and on the way picked up 4 caches on the way home of which this was the last. A spot not too far down the hill from one of our own caches from 2004. The CO's name we recognised but had not seen around the caching circles for over 10 years so welcome back. This was our 73rd closest unfound cache to home. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Out last night with Trailstevo doing a few drivebys and some short walks. A variety of Trads, Multi's and a Letterbox cache tonight. which is good for us as we normally end up with an evening of Trads. Was great to get out and get some fresh air and plenty of Southern Boobook Owls calling. Thanks for the fun evening out.
Rare night out caching at the moment wuth Gunks. Picked up some trads, multis and a letterbox. Short walks for a successful night. TFTC
This one took us a bit the gps had us walking around in circles we soon widened our search and found it! Looked for our dogs name in the cache didn’t find it! Took nothing left nothing! Logged our names!
The weather is forecast to crack up today, so Crusty K9 and I ducked out for a little last minute caching. Beautiful views from up here. TFTC -e^ip
We found it!! It was however on the ground. Maybe the wind had blown it out of its spot.
Found this on the way home from work last night, a nice little walk to gz and a nice quick find. Tftc!
I lost contention for a first to find when I decided to work from the city instead of from home when this was published earlier this week, so I've settled for bronze in what is a nook of Mt D I had never set foot on before - amazing views from this corner! tftc

I was working just up the road today at the local high school so had the perfect opportunity to pop out and get this one.
Great view right out to the bay, after a short search I had the log stamped. Cool tags but didn't take any.
Cheers -e^ip for the cache.

I had a day of leave to go hiking, so I was actually able to go find this one quite close to home on my way out. After seeing the notification I started to get organised for the day a little quicker and drove up to the cache. The view from the parking spot is great, especially with the lights at night. Never wandered down into the forest here though - it looks like a lot of the surrounding forest.
Hunted around a bit with my GPS leading me round in circles. Quite a number of potential hiding places here. I would have been looking for a while longer if I hadn't checked the hint, and then it was a reasonably quick find. Nicely hidden, thanks for the cache.
