F(H)ound It! #3873 @ 3:30 PMDunnehunters joined me for an afternoon's caching on Tuggers Hill.A grove of tea trees meant we had to walk the long way round but we could not miss this cache.thanks for the cache, Dwarf Exploder
Some more fun for us today out on Tuggeranong Hill.It was just a small group on the walk but we covered many kilometres and the two of yours that we found brought big smiles to our faces. Spooky as always! Thanks DwarfExploder Domsky
After walking the hill its so good its nearly time to head to the car. Love finding a Dwarf Exploder cache. After a very cold and chilly and foggy start to the day its turned into a fabulous winter day. Perfect for a walk over Tuggeranong Hill. Signed as Tuggeranong Trekkers. Thanks for getting me out and about Dwarf Exploder
Found with a great group of Tuggeranong Trekking geofriends. Found loose log. Added a replacement bison container. TFTH FP for the effort to build this setup.
Tuggeranong HillI decided to take a hike over Mt Tuggeranong today to find some caches with some mates. Signed as Tuggeranong Trekkers (TT). Another fun hide -great to bd finding some DE caches again. Thanks for the hide Dwarf Exploder
A soccer game down south gave me an opportunity to do a short cache hike during warmup. I decided on the three haunted cache which turned out to be a wonderful short wonder and fitted perfectly in my timeframe. As per previous logs logsheet was save and dry nearby. Cache still loooking awesome, even without the eye. Thank you Dwarf Exploder for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Caching around East Coast and a bit inland for a while. TFTC. Found the broken container and the log in the tree.Well constructed and a haul to get it here. Well done.
Love the creativity, effort, and coolness of this one. Not sure if we are blind or if the eye is missing a piece but we found one of the log paper on the ground (which we couldnt find anywhere to put so it is in the tree at the moment). It is a very well down cache anyway and I think I would have been spooked if I was out hiking and randomly saw it from afar.TFTC!
Out and about with fitzy_1965 today. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.Very cool! Fav point from me.
34,139. Found with minniek during a 'stroll' up and down Mt. Tuggeranong. It's been a few years since I tackled this mountain. With a handful of new-ish caches (well - five years old), plus the ones I already have but minniek doesn't, we decided to grab them today. We parked in the convenient park just at the start of the trail and then headed up up up. Once at the top we took a small breather, then started the downward descent with some bush bashing thrown in. Quick find once at GZ. This one is still in great condition. We found the log on the ground but we replaced it in it's proper spot - keep an eye on that *wink*. Stamped the log, then we continued on down and along to the next one. Thanks Dwarf Exploder !! Fav Point !
#4243 Back down south on errands today I took a moment to have a look for this cache. It’s very rare that a cache stands out on approach but this was one of those times and therefore worthy of a Fav. Thanks DwarfExploder.
What a great residential bush cache! A favourite from me, and I’m sure a lot of local geokids. Tftc!
Found with Albida33, MTrax, LuckyL10n, Toyhunters, Isopeda, and Aykayem. The weather was lovely today and it as a great day for caching. We walked from Callister Cres up to the Trig and meandered back along the Theodore side of the hill finding a few of the amazing Dwarf Exploder constructions. All caches were quickly found and signed as " JTH" June Tuggeranong Hill. TFTC.
After a quiet week of minimal caching, it was great to reach the weekend. With no event first, a group formed to head up Tuggeranong Hill. Different people needed different sets of the caches along the way, but there was plenty for everyone. Today the team was Gliss!, LuckyL10n, Aykm, Toy Hunters, Isopeda, mtrax and Albida. We signed a June Tuggeranong Hill or JTH. It was a cool clear day and only windy on the southwest flank. Having completed the caches on the trail, we headed off trail to three haunted caches on the way back. Some very great caches in that series.
This was my favorite cache for the day, even if it was a real challenge to get to. We had to put a new write in rain log in the container, as the rim is worn away and it is open to getting wet. The existing log was a soggy mess and we could not save it.
Thanks for the cache Dwarf Exploder

Great cache as usual although the eye needs some surgery..
A nice Canberra winter morning a slight chill in the air but nice in the sun.
Group outing known as June Tuggernanong Hill signed as JTH
thanks Dwarf Exploder

#17948 - 10:44:00 AM; Invited to join a small group of dedicated local cachers on a trek to the top of Tuggeranong Hill this morning. The weather was fine, although the wind did come up quite early. All up 9 from 9, including an adventure lab and a multi for me this morning. Logs signed JTH for June Tuggeranong Hill group, which was made up of myself, albida33, aykayem, mtrax, isopeda, toy hunters and Gliss. A nice morning for a wander up the hill, which had been on the "to do" list for quite some time, so nice to finally conquer it today. Many sets of eyes today and no problem extracting the log and adding the initials. Another fave worthy cache! TFTC Dwarf Exploder
Out with a group of 7 Intrepid cachers (Aykayem LuckyLion Albida33 Mtrax Gliss! Toy Hunter and me) tackling some of the caches on Tuggeranong Hill - signing as JTH (June Tuggeranong Hill).
Brilliant weather after a wet night.
Lid is cracked and log was mush. We put in a new log sheet.

Signed as June Tuggeranong Hill (JTH) with a crew consisting of me, albida33, Aykayem, GLISS!, isopeda, LuckyL10n and mtrax. Scrambled across from the previous cache whist, for most of us, avoiding the thick scrub. Awesome sculpture at GZ, we were soon able to figure out where the logbook was but it took a while to extract. The log was also quite wet so we've replaced the logbook. TFTC TE!
Haven’t been caching in Canberra in years and jumped at the chance for a few quick finds. The few haunted caches that I found were fantastic. Very creative. Log book damp. Tftc
Was down this way and had some time to kill, so of course decided a nature reserve was the way to go. Never actually been to this nature reserve before. There seem to be a lot of prickle bushes here (or at least that was my perception).
Found 6 caches this morning, at quite a leisurely pace. Thanks for the fun!

Sunny Saturday afternoon walking with the children. Another really fun one to find. Couldn’t find the note.
I absolutely LOVE this series! So creative and definitely worth the sore feet, prickles and scratches sustained on our walk around Tuggeranong Hill today!
It looks like this container has been cracked at some point; the log is a little wet but still in useable condition.
Another great effort with the design of this hide.

After a better night sleep at Condor I am ready for the important day. Hopefully the weather is going to be better than the last few days. Into Namadgi today for an event and a walk. This will put me on 20000 !! Woohoo, good milestone that I am proud of. After that caching my way home for a good night sleep in a bed.

Another fantastic cache with an awesome container. Don’t forget to follow the waypoints to make your approach much easier!

Wow! What a fun and spooky find! Beautifully constructed. Glad we noticed the waypoints which helped with an easier approach. Thank you so much for the experience.
Limited to where I can get to so took the opportunity today to revisit a close-by hill. Kept to the lesser trails and made most finds quickly. Thanks for your effort on these DE - amusing as always.
So so creepy, can't wait to find the rest. Even the log container is creative. Thanks, I've really enjoyed the last 3 caches
Wow what an amazing effort that's been put into this cache Couldn't actually figure out how to get the log out tho, i think it is jammed in too tight
We felt like a short hike this morning, so headed to Tuggeranong Hill to collect 5 unfound caches. A nice cool day, but the terrain was rough on Saf's busted knees, so the going was slower than usual. We found all 5 though, and were back at the car in about 1.5 hours.
A very cool cache (having flashbacks of some further south, may they rest in peace). Nicely done.TFTC!

The first day without rain for a while, so we headed out for a cache.
Love the effort that went into these. TFTC!

Interesting concept and so much good crafting. Dwarf Exploder, you must have so much fun bringing your vision to life.
I headed up the hill from the previous cache. We eyed each other off; I grabbed the log and signed it. Cache and log are good. Worthy of another favourite point. TFTC Dwarf Exploder.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better wow amazing amazing. So worth it. Found with company.
The first of three found in this series today, and yet another incredible creation! Also impressed by the fact you lugged that support up the hill, even though it's not very far that thing was heavy! Spotted this from a distance and already knew it would be special on approach, loved where the log was hidden too

An absolutely incredible trio of caches once again by the amazing Dwarf Exploder I cannot quite get over how enjoyable your caches are to find, and I always spend extra time admiring the crafty work you have put into them all.
I still cannot quite understand how all three of these caches have less than a 50% FP ratio though! If I could give you multiple favourites to make up for that I would, but they all deserve even more love than they already do!
Well done once again, and a huge thanks for continuing to make caching better for us down in the south of ACT

What better way to spend my last day as a 39yo, than to climb Tuggeranong Hill with the GeoKoolie and QuirkyRaven.
Our last find dor the day and it did not disappoint. Thank you for the effort of building these caches, and cant wait to find more of them

All I am saying about this cache is.... Yep a Fav Point from me...Signed the logbook DSD
Another fun cache! Impressive size. It must have been an effort to get it here. TFTC
After walking around Rob Roy Reserve we dropped in to pickup two caches around this location. We parked the car on the other side of the hill so we walked up and over to GZ for a distance of 810m, taking just 12min for an ascent of 66m. Quick find and an interesting cache camo. TFTC Dwarf Exploder.
**Stats**
Today we walked vigorously for 2hrs 40min over 7km with a total 400m ascent/descent. A good workout .

Tankengine and I climbed around this hill this morning to grab a few caches that I have been dying to pick up.
None disappointed including this one. Another very cool cache which I could see clawing around the tree as we walked up to it.
A quick find and sign before heading off to the next one. Tftc DwarfExploder!!!

A change of plans led to a new plan, and with GreyHams we set out to target some south side pockets of yet to find caches. A good mix of ones we both needed with just as many thrown in that just one had found, following the gaps in the map.
A real mix of caches along the way of type and location including suburban park and grabs, a few short walks and up and across some decent hills.
Tuggeranong Hill was the destination as we cached along the way and then on the way home after, the map is going to look so much better and we surely put in a lot of steps! The plan of Goodberries was sadly not to be with Easter closures but we did at least try to turn that frown back around...
Many thanks for your cache, we managed many but they all led to an enjoyable day out visiting many different locations. FP

Soooo, with all the "self- isolation" going on, Aquilus1 and my original plans for going further afield went up in smoke, but that was OK as we ended up going around Tuggernaong cleaning up the caches here and there that we were missing. There were a few that both of us had not found, and quite a few just one of us had logged previously.
Tuggeranong Hill was a feature, and I have to say I dont understand why it only gets the moniker "hill'... it felt much like Mt Taylor and the contour lines tell me they are roughly the same height.
We even found a letterbox, ammo can and all, with a PROPER stamp! none of this kids stamp set rubbish we have seen of late...
I was a little sad as I felt like a Goodberries today... I havent had one for maybe 10 years, its certainly been a while...but they are closed for the entire weekend. Always the way hey.
Sorry for the generic log, we did so many today....
EDIT: Lol, loved these ones.... so much has gone into them... fave points for all

Breaking up the isolation with some exercise on Tuggeranong Hill. Wow I love this series. The geokids made the find, enjoyed this one. Thanks for going to so much effort making the cache. Signed as CBR945.
This was part of the haunted series that I found awhile ago, except this one. Taking a walk up to the top of Tuggeranong hill, a short but steep walk, found this cache on the way down. Brilliant work taken with this scary cache, cheers. Tftc
Couldn't open it at first but got it in the end. Great walk and nice views. TFTC
We've taken an interest in the Canberra Mapping Challenge, which means walking the GeoPoodle in different suburbs every weekend which is fun, and makes for variety and discovering new places is always good - today we headed south, hoping that by climbing a big hill which borders 3 suburbs, that might get them all.
So, Tuggeranong hill - it's big, steep and rocky.
This was the eighth and final cache of the day, heading over from the witch, expectations had grown! And yep, another fabulous cache - the hand was spotted from a distance, and again, a laugh and some good appreciation - This one is so out in the open that muggles must come wondering sometimes - I can't imagine what they make of it! Again, a fav
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Dwarf Exploder, it was a great way to end the adventure.

I'm a bit behind on logging this one - found it on a cycle/bushwalk trip a few weeks back. Apologies for the late log.
It Came From Beneath: Impressed as ever by your creativity, Dwarf! Took me a moment to find where the actual container was, fortunately without damaging the sculpture in the process.

Plan A (a 3 day bush walk to Mt Namadgi) for the weekend was cancelled so I resorted to plan B. Something with a good long walk as preparation for next weekend's Australian Rogaine Champs. The southern end of the Bullen range fit that bill nicely - a 4 hour walk. After that I picked off a few newer caches an solved puzzles as I made my way home. Cache easily found. TFTC.

Out for a mostly suburban Tuggeranong caching run with Marmaduke Rothschild and contesta. Great work with the final GZ. TFTC.
TFTC awesome ‘hide’ in plain sight. Eye eye! Found with JohnnyBoyACT and Marmaduke Rothschild
A drive around Tuggeranong with JohnnyBoyACT and Contesta for a few caches to-day. Yet another great "container" at the gz, TFTC.
A bit of a scramble to get through the bushes, but well worth it. What a fantastic creative cache. Kind of reminds me of the Pale Man from Pan’s Labyrinth ...
A warm day, but decided to go for a walk on Tuggeranong hill after being stuck at home for the school holidays. Very quiet today - had the place to myself.
This was the first, and was a quick find. Good to see a few more of these caches.
Thanks,

Chooo ooo [FTF] - on a cloudy morning! A quick huff puff up the hill, and the cache was soon spotted. It tool me a tad longer to find the log, but soon had it signed! Now I don't always give favourites for fancy containers - but on this occasion I couldn't resist! - How cool is that! Thanks for the cache and the fun Dwarf Exploder!
Good co ords soon found the well blended in cache to the landscape.
The Stephen Spielberg of caching has done it again with a fine effort to the nightmare world .
Nice little cache log hide position as well .
A fav point given for the craftsmanship and views .
Many thanks to Dwarf Exploder !
