#4600 Traveling home from our camping trip we stopped in Deni for lunch and a walk with the geohounds. We made our way out to this cache on foot then spent about 15 minutes trying to find it! Of course it was in the best place to hide a cache at this spot! For whatever reason both our devices showed it about 20 metres from our indicated gz, but all is well that ends well. TFTC Kazza B.
After 10 minutes in the place my 0hone had me I looked in the obvious spot. All good. TFTC
Found the cache but unfortunately there was nothing in it, only the note book and pens. It was a little disappointing especially being my first find
Camping at Willoughby beach for a couple of days. What a magic spot And a walk along the river a must. So initially no luck with this one so decided to do a dnf. But then on the way back I could not resist and saw the cache. I have hidden it a bit better Thank for making us walk instead of sitting by the river all day and drinking coolish beverages!
Thanks for this cache in the beautiful Island Sanctuary. It was intact but all the gifts had gone. Log book and pen and pencil still there and watertight.
Decided to escape for a quick visit to Deni as there are a few newies in town. We also needed to do some cache maintenance in Mathoura.
Tricked us for a little while, but then considered the terrain and known weather events and cache was soon in hand,

West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 9. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Distance wise today was short, but we spent the day in South NSW between Deniliquin and Finley via Moama.
The day started with a short walk, and a nice find before heading out of town.
Thanks for the cache Forgans

Headed out on a 10-day trip to outback NSW with fitzy_1965 and albida33.
Day 9 saw us heading from Deniliquin to Finley via some more back roads. In logs, we signed as MK, F65 & A33.
Quick find here today.

Day 9 - Finished caching around Deniliquin, grabbed some more of the BRT series, then headed to Finley. First stop for the day. Parked at the gate and walked in to this one to get the blood pumping this morning. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Kazza B !!

Out walking with my nephew and he found this one took a toy car and left a colouring page
DNF at 3:45 PM.
A straight through walk through the bush and then it was a big search of around 20 minutes - nothing could be found in any of the structures that I looked in. Saw many kangaroos or are they wallabies?

Access road closed most likes due to Covid 19? Could access on foot from what I see but it's raining today
Really fun to find. We were about to give up but then found it right at last minute.
Walking in to this one, I spotted a bunch of kangaroos that are week “trained”, all staying within the circle of train track despite me walking quite close to them. A quick find on a beautiful damp morning in Denny!
Again a great parking place for a car and large trailer followed by a quite walk. Unfortunately we did not spot any of the mentioned animals but we did see a muggle who did not approach where we were. The mint tin is still there and in good condition, hope you are able to return the cache to it's original size, we love finding the bigger cache containers. SL TFTC
Found it, glad it’s back & safe! The boys loved it, so much fun Thanks & beautiful river
After a good walk from the car and a short search we soon had cache in hand

In town visiting our daughter pleased to see some new caches to be had. This one was a quick find but also a bit confusing finding a blank log sheet, got a tad excited for a moment thinking we had ftf but on checking the app saw it wasn't so.
Had to employ some stealthy manoeuvres to grab the cache as a group of kids were yahooing about with more energy that I use in week. While I 'took a rest' and MrG acted as blocker we waited for a clear window and dove in. TFTC Forgans.
Quick find once at GZ , we had intended walking from town but the bridge near the Town Hall is closed and we started from near the water tower

Jerilderie on the way to our overnight stop at Deniliquin.
From here we stopped for caches along the road where it was suitable to stop with the caravan on.
Overnight we had a fantastic camp along the river bank. Hubby took his bike to do caches along the rivers edge.
Thankyou for placing this cache Forgans

Wandered through island sanctuary - always a good spot to bird watch including potential for superb parrots, while dollarbirds were back today. As I approached GZ thought there were many potential hides but at the right end there were less options. The pen on the ground made me worried this one had also been discovered but was snug in its hole and one still in container (maybe the posums are down one!)
Log extracted signed and returned as found.
TFTC kazza B - hopefully a few more to come

Up in Deni for a long weekend break and noticed a couple of new caches since I was last up this way.
I was very surprised to get a FTF on this one after a nice walk along the track trying to beat the rain shower.
The poor old tree that once stood proud is now lying on its side maybe becoming a home for some ground dwelling animals.
A nice place for a walk after coming from the other cache.
A fav goes out to you for highlighting this area.
Picked up the PT and will move the TB on at the Mega in a couple of weeks.
Thanks Kazza B TFTC.
