Day 2 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance
Out caching in the Biggenden area over the long weekend with KabbellaQld and Danielle46 signed as KTD TFTC
We are exploring this area over the long weekend. Not sure about the name of this creek. Not very cheerful. Coords out but ran on our now familiarity with the CO's style. Signed KTD (KabbellaQld, ToucanKB and Danielle46). Tftc
Another weekend in Biggenden. Now to head south and home. A quick stop here as the day is warming up but with a lot of fog around before continuing south along this road for a few caches. A quick find for me today in the wet grass. Thanks for the cache.
Verplaatsing van Noose Head naar Agnes Water (in 3 dagen). Onderweg deze cache gelogd. TFTC.
Last Easter, Seffnjarah and I road tripped our way south to Armidale and surrounds, camping, caching and hiking along the way. I had planned a similar trip this Easter to Maryborough and then west to Mt Walsh and was joined at the last minute again by Seffnjarah.
First order of business this morning was to climb Mt Walsh. After a successful mission, we visited Biggenden, where we collected the Adlab cache and I managed to secure a most excellent steak burger from the cafe in town. After collecting a few local Biggenden caches, we are now wandering south collecting a mix of interesting and unloved caches, including this one.

When other family arrangement for the Easter break fell through, I was lucky to score a ride with Crookedpete for an extended weekend geocaching road trip from Brisbane to around Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Mt Walsh and surrounding areas.
After making it up to the summit of Mt Walsh and back in about 3hrs this morning, that left plenty of time in the day to continue picking up some more caches on our extensive to-do list for the weekend. But first Crookedpete decided he he needed a burger to refuel his body after the strenuous walk and we headed to Biggenden to see what we could find. Surprisingly we managed to find a take away open on Easter Sunday. With Crookedpete's hunger sated, we ventured on to find some local caches before beginning the run south towards home, passing this cache along the way.
No problem making the find on this one and we were able to sign our names in the logbook TFTC

All good here, moogles of many colours all watching our antics
A great day for a drive in the country.
Blue skies, and not a cloud to be seen.
Forecast says it will hot up a bit , so an early start for us.
Burn off then recent rain so lots of fresh green growth in the paddocks.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
01/01/2022 Attended the event hosted by Sweet-Sour today and was good to meet up with fellow cachers. After the event headed out to cleanup some caches around north Kilkivan. Signed the logsheet and returned cache to its hiding hole. Thanks for making this cache for my enjoyment. TFTC SL

Drove from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back in a day for one of my daughters awards presentation. 820 kilometers broken up by caching and meals. Really appreciate the CO's placing all these caches, and I certainly appreciated the air conditioning more on a hot 35 degree.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **Sweet-Sour**

Saturday morning and I decided to head to Dayboro once more to complete the Horse geoart, minus the disabled one, a few more of the We?? Geo and of course anything else that got in the way.
It was reasonably quiet on the back roads and apart from a few dodgy parking spots all caches were found in good condition.
All logs were signed and all were returned as found.

With the weather clearing it's time to hit the frog & toad again.
We thought Maryborough might be nice for a change but we couldn't help detouring via the backroads north of Kilkivan which still have so many caches on offer.
#33 of 55 smilies rounded up today.
I was surprised to find a 12cm native gecko guarding this cache but it did decide that the best decision was to scamper away under cover.
Nice quick find.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Hi there Sweet-Sour.
We found your cache **"Smothering Creek"** today. (This makes our find count 25634).
Back to start some more cache trails from Kilkivan. Today's plan was to head north up Running Creek Road and then continue on to Brooweena - Woolooga Road
It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 44 caches & 0 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Either a smiley badge or a gold coin
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Out on a mission with Willis007 and Chamad. I thought the morning adventures were fun, but this trip really added to it. So many laughs. So many issues (rarely with the caches - they were the easy parts!). A huge afternoon that turned into and even bigger night.
Day 2 of the New Year event at Kilkivan. Having a wonderful time meeting new cachers as well as catching up with some old faces.
After gathering heaps of caches this morning, it was time to pack up at camp as I needed to head towards home.
TripleTurmoil and CHAMAD decided to join me on the journey up north to find some more new and older caches. We had a super fun afternoon racing around finding these caches, and very much appreciate the CO efforts with these.
This was a quick find, log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks Sweet-Sour for the cache.

After a tumultuous morning of caching it was decided to go out with just three of us this time and cache some of the new caches and grab some older ones as we passed. So now it was just Willis007, 4hawkers and myself. I really thought we could not have any more laughs but the day just continued and I had a stitch from laughing so much.
The caches on this trip were varied, a variety of sizes and hides but all were in good condition. The countryside around here is amazing and just beautiful, thank you for bringing us around here.
Thank you to all the CO’s for placing caches around this area, I really enjoyed the drive around here and finding your caches. Sorry for the generic log but we found approximately 70 caches this afternoon.
This was a nice set of caches down this road.

We are having a drive along the country roads picking up caches and this is one we found. Very dry out here at the moment. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing this cache ..All good with this one log signed and returned where found.
Our GPS was showing the cache on the opposite side of the road. That common sense let us straight to GZ.

It was pouring with rain as we left Hevey Bay, as we moved from the coast the skys cleared & turned into a great day for caching.
Todays round trip was approximately 150ks, all in very quiet farming country side.
All had good co-ords which meant for easy finds.
Thanks for placing this amazing series Sweet-Sour

FTF with Youngoldfella, Roddyc and Doscrapbooking. Great weekend. Good to catch up with everyone. Tftc
I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache Sweet-Sour
We received an invite to attend the unofficial official newbies caching event in Kilkivan. So we thought why not.

After a nice mid year catch event up at the showgrounds with some familiar faces and meeting some new cachers, DiamonJS, patrol14, echocage1 and Grey Parrots casually ventured off in a small convoy of two cars hoping to nab a couple of FTF's. Along the way it was a mad rush to put in the WP's so we knew where we had to go, starting from the bottom up.
Another nice size container, and a good hide here.

Decided I needed a visit to Qld for a day of caching, wow what a day with some fabulous caching pals old and new. Enjoyed the trip through the countryside and feel I need to come back and have a better look. TFTC
Kilkivan Caching Time again!! Whoohoo! Four of us journeyed together and arrived at around ten to 9. I then joined forces with my best caching buddy Youngoldfella, who had doscrapbooking and Tricia2C in the geobeast with him. Most admirable company for a geocaching venture! And there maybe a few First to Find caches as well? Oh good.
Nothing too rocky about this, our 4th of eight joint [FTF] for the morning.
Log signed at 9.57am and cache replaced as found. TFTC, Sweet-Sour

Out 'n about with with Grey Parrots, Snickersallan, DiamonJS & Echocage1. A whirlwind trip to Kilkivan and back to Brisbane in a day. Definitely deserves a return visit and stay for a few days.
Thanks Sweet-Sour for the event and these good-sized caches. We will be back.

(FTF) Joint. Camping at Kilkivan for the weekend when the CO released these. I had three other geocachers in the geo mobile with me and we had a good 3.75 hour adventure gathering up these 15. Many thanks for the event and thanks for these new ones. Apologies for the cut and paste logs. TFTE Sweet-Sour.
Thanks for arranging this caching event sweet-sour, much appreciated. This series of caches were nicely hidden on a quiet country road. Completed with Semik, Oddiewan, Bittern and Flashcat.
We came to Kilkivan for 2 nights to attend Sweet-Sour’s unofficial event. Great to get away in our van after being grounded for months due to COVID-19. Went out this morning with Patrol14, Snickersallan, DiamonJS & Echocage1 and had a lovely time. We were very happy to be the second group to find this cache. Thanks Sweet-Sour for the event and the cache.
