A long awaited weekend trip to Geelong saw us targeting our long list of solved puzzles, amongst other caches.Signed the logbook for this challenge today. We are only 2 caches off completing it, but being T4.5 and T5.0 on the correct days of the week, we will see how long it takes to actually finish it off. Thank you for placing this challenge cache, which we hope to turn into a smiley one of these days.

Down the surfcoast today to host an event in Torquay. Of course there was caching afterwards. We have been wanting to pick these up for some time, so it was a must after the event before the rain came. The weather was perfect today to explore these back roads. Another nice easy find. With a day off work, it was the perfect opportunity to grab a few hides. Na'wal had to make the trip into Geelong, so we joined forces today. The weather was quite chilly for most of the day, but luckily one of us had the foresight to wear long pants... It turned out to be a successful day, even though there were a few DNF's thrown onto the mix. Thank you BFMC for creating a well-written challenge cache for me to enjoy, challenge caches are my favourite type of geocache, and they have kept me actively involved in the game since 2012!I enjoy using them to plan my adventures, and 'cache smarter not harder '.I sign them off whenever I can, and once I get back home and find I have qualified, I will submit a second log with the relevant supporting evidence. TFTC indeed!I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.

#14,510. I have come over to Australia to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega event and travelling around with geocaching buddy Infoferret. We are now making our way east to Melbourne but staying at Geelong tonight. The target today is a series of challenge caches but virtuals, earthcaches and adlabs are always of interest and we are sprinkling in some traditionals and multis to boost the number of counties for various challenges. We stayed overnight in the lovely town of Warrnambool and have now reached Geelong. We decided to do this challenge series before we head to our accommodation. What a rough dirt road! Drove down it slowly and parked near GZ. Nice quick find. Signed the logsheet and replaced the cache as found. Thanks BFMC for hiding it here.

As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. We signed the log with N4. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. Greetings from Seattle! I am lucky enough to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide with my fellow Lackey and best geo-buddy giacaches, and we hit the road to take the scenic route to get there. We're heading from Melbourne to Warrnambool today via the Great Ocean Road We hardly ever pass up challenges, so we made sure to swing by here on our way. It's a fun walk down memory lane of other places I've lived and trips I've taken! Greetings from Seattle! I'm down under (for the first time) with my caching counterpart, jtcoffee. While our main goal is to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-event Thursday, we're also packing in as much as we can including seeing Taylor Swift in Sydney, driving the Great Ocean Road, and later - hopping over to New Zealand to see all of the Lord of the Rings filming locations. Since we're both suckers for challenges, we had to stop and grab these to kick off today's drive I had a hunch I qualified, but I still used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8F0GY/45817 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to get the digital affirmation of that lovely green checkmark **My results:**"Find 9 different difficulties on Sunday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different difficulties on Monday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different difficulties on Tuesday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different difficulties on Wednesday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different difficulties on Thursday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different difficulties on Friday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different difficulties on Saturday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Sunday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Monday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Tuesday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Wednesday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Thursday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Friday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSED"Find 9 different terrains on Saturday" Qualifying 9 / 9, PASSEDAll tests, Qualifying 14 / 14, PASSEDThanks for placing this challenge cache and thus contributing to our adventure in Oz!

After getting off the ferry from Tasmania I dropped my house on wheels at a fellow cachers home and headed off to find a couple of caches before attending a nearby, very educational, event about everything related to challenge caches. After the event it was only natural to head down these back roads to sign up for these challenges All caches were found easily and in good condition. Let the fun continue TFTC BFMCKeep smiling

WinkI had qualified for this series of Challenge caches the day they were published but it has taken me until today to get out here and find them. I had no trouble finding any of the caches and it was very pleasing to find a series of regular size containers. As I was signing the last log, the rain started to get heavier so as I completed the signing duties, I quickly retreated to my car. This week I'm staying down at Anglesea with some friends to celebrate the end of the year and have been fortunate to grab a couple of caches in a very pretty area that I haven't visited since the mega in 2016!Chauffeuring a member of millsy031 (who's rather complaisant regarding impromptu caching expeditions) around the place has granted me a few more opportunities to diverge slightly from the group's intended route than would otherwise be anticipated in such circumstances, which often gained the curiosity of the two folks in the other car and resulted in a couple of adventures with all four of us!Today the factory outlets were raided (and I was truly in my element at Rip Curl) then it was down to the beach to have some pizza and a swim before I had a bit of time to myself and visited the DotW series to close out the day. This was one that I was quite excited to get signed as I've heard several discussions about it over the years but haven't targeted it myself. At the time of writing, I'm just awaiting a Wednesday T5 and a Friday T4.5 (although there were a couple more in the mix at the time of signing that have been completed in between times, if my memory serves me correctly!)Thanks to BFMC for the challenge! Smile

Found with minniek during our Great Victorian County Hunt this long weekend. Our aim is to finish off Victoria - minniek needing 14 and myself 7.

We left Canberra after work on Friday and stayed overnight at a familiar free camp at Oxley Reserve. Saturday night we arrived in Sale and had a great dinner at a local pub followed by a luxury motel room. Yesterday we meandered West ticking off required Counties until we ended up in Queenscliff. We were planning on staying in Geelong overnight but instead stayed in Queenscliff as it was so lovely. Day 4 dawned and we started a loop back via certain caches on our list. This was the next for the day, and another interesting Challenge Cache. I will check my stats and see if I qualify.

Thanks BFMC !!

Headed away this long weekend with fitzy_1965 for the Great Victorian County hunt. Our mission is to finish off Victoria.

We drove from Queenscliff to home. The last county on our list collected along with a nice mix of virtuals, challenges, ALs and anything else that took our fancy.

All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned. And thanks to all the COs who continue to help us reach our goals.

Have checked to see if I qualify and I do.

I had signed these challenges back in March 2021. Slowly ticking these off there were two that I had left. Events and D/T. Thanks to some recent trip and the ability to attend some midweek events, I was finally able to complete both of these challenges.

What an excellent challenge idea. I thoroughly enjoyed working on these.

We continued today our tour in Victoria, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Challenge-Cache.

The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.

The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.

Thanks to BFMC for the generation of this nice cache DotW Challenge Series - D/T ratings (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.

This is a lovely series of challenges. We enjoyed our drive on the country roads, although we were quite surprised at how much traffic there was for what we thought might be quiet country lanes.
Nonetheless, there was plenty of room for us to pull over and make the finds here.
We need to check to make sure we qualify and will update our “write notes”as we do.
We found all the hides to be in good condition and very accessible today.
Thanks for this series BFMC. We love the 7 days a week theme!

Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

This is another challenge that I have been working on and I just needed a T5 on a Thursday to complete for a long time.
Pleased that I now qualify and can log this as a find after signing the log a month ago.

Thanks for the challenge BFMC

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 11: Drop of Bushfire. Don't stop caching. Surprised

Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way to a Mega event. Wink We made a detour via Geelong and picked up Bushfire. It had been three years since we last all cached together. [^] Today we left our digs in Craigieburn and headed to back to Geelong to drop off Bushfire. Razz That done we spent the rest of the day juggling the phone and GPS doing Adventure Labs and any caches we came close to. Big Grin Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs. Cool

Signed after maccamob's wedding anniversary celebration.

A score of 8/14 on the checker doesn't even begin to paint the whole picture... 9 remaining out of 126 comes closer. Either way, there's still a lot of terrain to cover and work to do.

Thanks, BFMC

Finally! I qualify! I signed the log on 01/03/2020 just before the world went crazy...at the time I had 8/14 required. I recently just signed the log on Orange Crew's challenge and had completely forgotten about this one. Someone reminded me of it today so here I am converting this to a smiley. Thanks for the challenge, BFMC

Signed today on a trip via Torquay, but not yet met the requirements. But I was surprised how many I have got, so this will be a lovely challenge to make up the rest.

Log signed a several months ago - a memorable day it was out on a mission with a few geobuddies and then back again as one does on a solo effort. A rare event for me but always fun. At the time I signed I was not sure I qualifies and was surprised to find I did! Either way, nothing like a "geo - challenge " to get us geo tragics out in pursuit of a dream. I significantly remember plenty of significant days out on numerous missions to accomplish these projects!!! TFTC and the fun of course.

Although we found and signed this cache in May, we have only just realised that we have fulfilled the logging requirements.
We visited Geelong along with our caching buddy Rebel Acts back in May, and had a great time meeting a number of CO’s, as well as finding a mix of different caches. After leaving Geelong we went north and were lucky enuf to escape most of the Victorian lockdowns for 2021. Travelling initially thru central NSW, and then on to Qld we have added several thousand finds to our caching numbers this year, and at some point picked up the 5D/5T daily numbers to complete the challenge.

We are heading down to Portland to visit dad for a few days and had a bit more time to spare than usual and as we enjoy challenge caches we thought that we would try our luck at this little series and are really glad that we did.
There were nice quiet wide roads and all the decent sized caches were found right where the GPSr was pointing and all the log books now contain our name.

Many thanks BFMC for setting up this series of challenges.

Found by Rebel Acts

My good friends Ski Pair were heading down to Geelong for a few days and invited Me to join them, who could resist being chauffeured around and the company and laughs are always good. We had a great time touring the area discovering new locations while finding caches, We even managed dinner with Suscoe and Busfire.

This is one of the caches we found for the week.

[Rebel Acts](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Rebel%20Acts) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8F0GY/45817 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.
