Hungover geocaching day. Out exploring the area, such a nice hot day to be out and about. Log signed with SCAHPA - TFTC
We had an interesting and varied day today with ilook4geo, as it included some caching as well as visiting family who live nearby. All the caches found were in good order with room the log for more names. This cache was found quickly with no muggles being around. Thanks for this cache placement go to jfindit.
There was no problem in finding this cache together with goingplaces2. All was good and the log was soon signed. It was then replaced as found. TFTC.
Had this one solved for a while. Good to grab this easy find today and turn into a smile.TFTC.
What an interesting series. A club one would have no joy being a member of. Off to find the 5 on the road to Peachchester. One found one left and I'm not referring to life.
This is right in my wheel house! Found after hiking one of the mountains. Now I want to do them all! Thank you!
I was on the north coast when I saw two new caches came out. I was a good 2 hours away from getting either cache as a FTF, however I did put a watch on them just in case. When I started my way to Caboolture for the event I saw they were still sitting there to be collected. I thought for sure they would have been gone by a couple of local cachers. I drove that way back and did a couple of the puzzle caches that I had in the solved list before I made my way to the first FTF cache. These puzzles I cannot remeber how long ago I solved but it was nice to clear them from my map and list. A nice series and some easy placements with good parking spots, thank you.I signed the logs and replaced the caches as found.
I was up on the Sunshine Coast with the family. I got permission to grab a couple of caches. All were found and signed.Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
I found the theme of the *27 Club* series consisting of musicians who died at the tender age of 27 interesting, and there seemed to be quite a few well-known names (does this work for other names too?). An individual who I did not recognise, but upon further research, I was able to name and thus have final coordinates on 22/07/2022.Whilst driving along this road today, it was a driveby cache that was a quick find; The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks jfindit for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This morning, it was an early start and attended the [Views from Mount Coochin](https://coord.info/GCANX2W) event in the Glass House Mountains. Mount Coochin was a minor twin peak that hadn't been on my radar before today, and it was a great yet short loop walk. After grabbing a few geocaches nearby in Beerwah, I utilised the short dry weather window before forecasted rain to geocache west to Peachester, where I had an early lunch. When inclement weather set in, I decided to make my way home via Beerwah, and then south via the Glass House Mountains.
jfindit I found your cache The 27 Club - Ron "Pigpen" McKernan on 20/3/2024, 2:45pm. This is my find 6459 and find # 8 today. A quick and easy drive by. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Whilst on a geoadventure that took me in a loop from Beerburrum, Glass House, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford and back to Beerburrum. A quick and easy find in a familiar location. Thanks jfindit!
Find 29 of 40 on a full day of caching, driving down from Maleny on the old road into Landsborough, then getting the bikes out for a 30km ride around Landsborough and down to Beerwah and back, then driving back up via Peachester picking off as many caches as we could on the way. An excellent day out with some brilliantly constructed caches to enjoy.
Bikes back in the car, we set off up the hill for a few park and grabs. The enjoyable puzzles had been solved a while back. All the GZs were sympathetic and perfect for our direction of travel
TFTC jfindit!

I had solved this cache a long time ago, but hadn’t been this way for the find. Today I was nearby, looking for a cache that had an Attribute that I needed for a Challenge, so I grabbed this cache while I was in the area. Interesting series. TFTC
Solved this months ago but haven’t had the chance to stop…out biking/caching today so thought would grab on the way home. Well camouflaged TFTC
Alyce and I decided to head to Beerwah and Peachester today to grab a bunch of caches, this time we took the three little ones along to get them out the house and away from their devices so they could enjoy the great outdoors and explore some unvisited locations.
We had a fantastic day exploring new areas we haven’t visited before and the kiddies enjoyed the day too, but they got a little agitated towards the end so we called it quits at Peachester and made our way to Woodford to grab a late lunch before heading home.
We would like to thank each and every CO for given us a reason to visit.
Apologies for the generic log.

Solved this a long time ago. We seem to find one each time we return home to Toowoomba after a trip to the Sunny Coast. With only two left and a bit of time we picked up the remaining two in this series. TFTC jfindit.
Today is normally my grandma day but i had that yesterday and my husband is away for the weekend. so when the cats away the mouse will play. Well my type of play is geocaching and my main target today was to go to peachester cemetery and collect smileys along the way. I also enjoyed these 27 club puzzles and i did get the hang of the hides pretty quick. I do love these types of hides . Thank you for all the fun
A pigpen tribute!
I do love myself some 'dead on the odd occasion, especially some of that early stuff with the crackin' harmonica courtesy of ole mate ron here.
Truth be known, i had no idea he also picked twenty seven to start composting on a permanent basis, so thanks for teachin' me that! A big club, i can still see some absent names.
As rare as it is for me to log a cache on the actual day i found it , this one i did, and it was discovered that i could arrive here by way of the bikepath alongside this windy road sometime mid this morning. Huzzah!
Thanks jfindit for this unique mystery cache, nice to see a legend personified with a geocache listing.

Second time around for this one. Earlier today I parked too far up the road. This time a quick sign and return with the cold groceries in the car. TFTC
TFTC. Knowing that we would be in Beerwah for a get together with members of our motorhome chapter, we spent a little time solving the Club 27 puzzles. They all certainly passed well before time. There music lives on though.
A trip up the road and caches quickly in hand.

Time to head back into town as the rain is getting much heavier but having a trusty waterproof jacket won't slow me down in finding some more hides.
Enjoyed this little series very much and having a little spot to pull over made it so much easier in the rain. Thanks CO, well done on the puzzles.

Yesterday we heard from a bee sting. Available at a bakery in Landsborough. So I looked up which caches we could grab on the way. This was one of them.
Puzzle solved, cache found.

Today was going to be a long day. The bike in the morning doing the trail from glass house welcome to Beerburram, then in the afternoon doing the 27 Club and caches that we pass. A good 2nd day in Beerwah.

Today we arrived into Bewah to spen a couple of days before heading towards Dayboro.
We have teamed up with the Snakepitters. We spent a couple of days caching around the glass house region. Such spectacular Mountain views. We had solved the 27 Club puzzles before leaving home. It's incredible that so many talented people died at this age.
Thankyou jfindit for placing this cache.

My daughter joined my wife and I today for a caching run. It’s been a long time since she hasn’t worked on a Saturday so we were thrilled to have her with us. In fact it was my daughter and I that commenced our geocaching odyssey and without her I would just be sitting in the pub every weekend betting on horses.
I was thrilled to see her walk up to GZ and reach in for the cache. The problem was that she saw some spider webs and pulled out quicker than Quick Draw McGraw. It seems like two years without the touching the plastic has shaken her confidence. To rub salt into the wound she was on the wrong side of the road.
I saw the cache and stuck my hand in to grab it. The metal was so hot that I felt it burning my arm when I brushed up against it. I will never complain that a curry is not hot enough ever again. tftc

Thanks jfindit for increasing my music knowledge and for arranging this hide.
Knowing I was going to be in the area today I sat down and did the research to solve them...

Finally made the time to head out & find these latest instalments of the 27 club series. I solved them soon after they came out then must have forgotten about them. Interesting but tragic stories of lives cut short. My memory was prodded a few months ago when we ran into the CO at a couple of hides around Landsborough, when we compared notes about our own hides. Well today was the day when we finally got to find this bunch of solved puzzles.
So much traffic on this road but pulled up in a safe spot, waited for a gap and winced as I had to put my hand in through a few layers of cobwebs to reach what I needed. Luckily nothing alive was contacted so I survived relatively unscathed.
I learnt something new with this one as had heard of Grateful Dead but not particularly Ron McKernan.

Great series, enjoyed the research. Quick finds on the caches once I got the rhythm of the hides but had to time my hunts by the traffic. TFTC jfindit.
Out for a Freaky Friday with teamdfl Our original idea was kayaking at Bribie Island, but the threat of 40kph winds shelved that! Happily we both had plenty to find between Glasshouse Mountains and Bellthorpe so met up at North Lakes and travelled on in one car. First job was an AL, then we meandered along westwards using caches to guide us, and now we are heading back east again.
Time to collect this series of solved puzzles. We had thought to visit them this morning but as usual got distracted elsewhere They were all smilie-fied on our way homewards this afternoon. TFTC, jfindit.

Down the road and back up again. Sounds like a good line for a song. Another one turned to a smiley face, and our last one for the day. Thanks for the effort with the puzzles and placing them all.
Found all these 27 Club mysteries quite awhile ago, but somehow I forgot to log them.
With a milestone coming up I thought I better get my tardy logging in order.
Ive never been savvy with the works of this artist, but appreciate you bringing him to our attention.
Cheers jfindit...great work on the series

Friday. Out for a drive today and detoured up this way. We couldn’t come to collect a smiley on this cache until today. Nice container and quickly located.
This was the 1st of 9 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***jfindit*** for showing us this place

I had a few hours free this afternoon, so decided on a scenic drive to pick up some solved puzzles. Having a muso as a partner was certainly a help for me here; very little research required on my part except turning the screen of the lap top around. My daughter and I enjoyed a pleasant drive to pick up the finals, an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Take a FP for each of these puzzles from us. Tftc and the lovely afternoon jfindit
Out to find this series today after solving all the puzzles. This one was hardest and I spelt the answer wrong but got there in the end. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks jfindit. All good with this cache

Spent a lot of time crossing and recrossing the road due to the compass going crazy. Was about to give up when I thought I saw something in one of the holes. I found a stick to give it a poke and the cache was in my hands. The last cachers pushed it in a long way. Dropped 2 TBs. TFTC
Slowly increasing our return to caching after my recent hip replacement surgery.
We managed 18 finds today so it shouldn't be too long before Vegan Cachers (VC) are back in full swing! LOL ...
#1 of 18 found today.
We sorted out the coordinates for these caches as they were being published but there was no way we would beat the many FTF hounds who lived so much closer than we did! LOL ...
Better left for another day & that day is today!
This was a nice quick find to start our day.
Mrs VC was quick to spot the cache.

A quiet (for me) week off work so far, and so Crew153 and the mighty Geofalcon offered to get me out up this way and about for the day. Heading west now, a bit longer drive between stops - which was good as the aircon worked, and the sun was hot outside. Solved this with help of a tool.
Thanks jfindit for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime and I took a day trip around loop from Beerburrum, Beerwah, Peachester and Woodford to find the caches in the area.
After completing the B/W series we started heading west from Beerwah to complete the loop with a few caches from this series. This was the first and a quick find as I parked close by.

What better thing to do on the 27th but come and collect some of the 27 musician series. Have had all of the puzzles solved for some time so it was good to collect them on this coolish and wet December day.
The pigpen has some iconic songs in his portfolio. Who knows what he could have produced if he made it past 27!! Thanks for the memories jfindit.

With this series all solved and music on our minds after completing the SP power trail we had decided to grab the 27 club puzzles . Gorgeous December day and easy finds! Great music too!
A day free to do what we please, and what better than to head up into the hills and tick some as-yet-unfound caches off the list.

Super quick finds up here in the mountains today!
Nyssaflutterby has solved these and thought today would be a great day to visit the mountains.
It wasn’t too hot at the first few but by the last one it was 36!
I picked up two travel bugs at two of these caches.

Out and about with wombles on a hot and hazy whacky Wednesday. Seeing as the temperature was in the high 30’s we decided on some easy drive by caches so once our names were on the log we could retreat back to the air conditioning.
Last one for today! Time to head for home but not before I scorched my arm again You think I would have learnt at the last one. haha!

A lovey drive out here today picking up the new caches. We enjoyed solving each one. Thank-you jfindit.
Saw these 4 caches published while we were out caching yesterday near Brooyar State Forest so they had to wait for today. Solved all the puzzles this morning before taking geowife into Caloundra, with an hour to spare we headed up the Peachester Range in search of the caches. All good with the caches and easy parking close by. TFTC jfindit
I had promised geograndson that we would go caching today. We had a plan in mind, but he got hangry before we could begin. So we stopped off at Subway for a bite to eat. I finished mine before he did, so decided to check out nearby caches. Oh, look! There are some FTFs not too far away! I looked at the first puzzle and very soon, the checker agreed. We set off on the short journey to GZ. There, geograndson took great pleasure in finding the cache. I added my name to the log and he returned everything to its spot, while I set about solving the next one. TFTC
