Works are ongoing and the hide location has been demolished so I'm archiving this one.
Council currently has this area fenced off with works in progress.
I will check again in a few weeks to see whether or not the hide can be replaced.

We found this cache easily and hope that it will one of many RRPT caches to come.
Rollin' through some trollin' quick find and replace. No one else is out here in the middle of the day? Thanks again GeocachingTownsville
Quick find, got the just of these hides along this walk pretty quick, muggle central though so be weary.
With a full tummy from the food trucks we had to walk off our tea. Took the opportunity to go for a lovely strolll along the river. A quick sign and replace as was worried about previous logs about Nope Rope. So a little worried about digging around in the dark. TFTC
Took some searching for thanks for hiding and giving us a reason to explore your area.

Sometimes it's nice to have a series of easy ones. Makes you feel like a excellent geocacher

The grass was very overgrown at this location. Seems these trolls aren’t the green thumbs type - unlike the trolls at 3, their bridge is very well maintained!!! The geo kid was super quick to spot this one given the circumstances.
Staying a couple of days in Townsville - after our last stay is over 10 years ago.
Sucking in all the nice spots, like this one.

Another easy find if you are not deceived by rocks. These trolls have been active!
We were in Townsville Australia for the day on Holland America’s Amsterdam. We saw that there were many caches along the biking/walking trail along the Ross River. So we took a taxi about 7 miles out of the city and started our geocaching walk back to the port from there.
It did not start out well, as the first cache took us through some high grass, muddy and flooded area, and to a totally mosquito-infested area by the river - and it was raining. We did not take our repellent with us, not knowing how many mosquitos there were. On top of that we had to log a DNF, after a long but unsuccessful search for the cache.
We walked the muddy trail to the second cache and the mosquitos all around that area and it was still raining. We did find the cache quickly and moved on.
The next cache finally took us up onto the paved trail, out of the woods, and a few less mosquitos. By that time we were tired of all of the mosquitos. So Marbles walked to the nearest house, knocked on the door, and asked if he could buy any mosquito repellent they might have. The owners were very nice to us. They would not sell it to us, but brought out two cans of spray and let us put as much as we wanted on ourselves. We had a nice chat with them and moved on.
The rest of the day went much better – It stopped raining, the mosquitos stopped bothering us, and all of the other caches were either on or just off the paved trail. By the end of the day we found 26 caches and only added one more DNF.
Thank you to GeocachingTownsville for 15 of the caches in the RRPT trail series, OzGeoker for 3, choppersrule for 2, and the other 6 COs for their efforts and for their caches.

Out on the leap year to log some hides.
Despite the rain these containers are holding up well. I’m not holding up as well against the mozzies.

Found it, but forgot a pencil to log the sheet.
Just to proove I was here...Tweety is eyeballing you.
Make sense when you find the cache.
Thanks!

Found the last of the Troll series. I have been saving this one because I didn’t get the FTF on it. Thanks for the cache.
Emigrated to North Queensland for Christmas - opened up the map from our temporary home .... and nada! The geo-nephew has moved into a geo-wilderness. This one was essentially the closest one - some km or so hike through waist-high reptile filled grass and the clambering of a couple of fences, a railway line and crossing a crocodile infested river .... and here I am doing this at midday in mid-summer furnace heat. Reckon I earned the T2!
Trolls? I eat trolls for breakfast. That reminds me, I skipped breakfast (saving up for Christmas dinner).
Thanks GeocachingTownsville for entertaining me at this location.

A quick find on a nice Friday morning. Cache is in good condition and co-ords were spot on. T4TC
Having noted that Upping the portfolio (snoozed and loozed) had gone off yesterday i abandoned the plans of a second ladder attempt and resorted to picking up this as a daily. Day 352 and my 1011th find for the year. Felt lazy and the gate was open so drove to GZ and spotted the hide as i pulled up. SL and had a look at the swag. Thanks for the cache
TFTC Found with my geo-munchkins on a nice sunny afternoon stroll. Geocaching Rocks!!
Did not even know these walking tracks existed! This is why I love geocaching so much! Found and signed with FRC. Left some swag and off to explore the area more!! TFTC a great way to spend a Sunday! morning.
Ree8 rang me to say there was a new cache out part of the regeneration from the floods so we both got dressed and we where out the door ready to find. We got to the point and followed the clues it was a hot one. We found it great hunt Ree8
