The recent rain has got to these. Nothing here. At least as far as I can see. Done some of these before and it’s not where I would suspect
After looking from the bubbler to the tree on the other side of the bridge and picking up rubbish too, I was unable to find the container even after seeing a photo of it, if someone can help maybe it’s just cause I’m new
Found it and it was scattered across the ground the paper was fine so we signed it and put it back together and placed it where we thought it would’ve been hidden
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 85. Townsville second visit Day 5. I thought I would give the caches out in the north near where I am staying a go. This was a bad move. I only found 3 out 8 in the north sore district. I then moved across town picking up caches as I headed to the trackable Letter box. n the way home I did two short walks on the castle that I could not do due to burning earlier in the week.
Two bridges and two finds. A few more RRPT caches in the bag. The front steps in the house next the bridge are amazing.
Thanks for the cache GeocachingTownsville

We are getting to know the cycle trails around Townsville, and quicker ways to get into town. Today was Market day so we decided to get breakfast in town. Nice easy ride into town, as as we went a different way, there were caches along the trail 'Bonus'.
Thanks GeocachingTownsville for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 12859,
TheTownsville Mega Event finished but having another week in town to do more caching & sight seeing.
Hubby spent a morning out with geono & pprass to ride the dam wall on their bikes.
After lunch we decided to look for a few caches closer to the caravan park.
Spotted from the other side, the navigated the other person to the hide.
Thankyou GeocachingTownsville for placing this cache.

Found at 9.54am after a stressful arrival to Townsville. After a 2hour plus queuing at Tullamarine to drop our bags off, as the system kept spitting peoples bags back at them, we arrived but my luggage didn't.
Yesterday morning it was off to buy essentials and await the news of the luggage arrival last evening. Still waiting for courier to deliver to our accommodation though.
Now we can do what we came here to do - cache. We stayed in the city overnight and moved closer to the Mega for the next week. After a couple of dnf's last evening and this morning, it was good to get our hands on this one.

So excited to be attending my second MEGA and to fly
to a destination for fun! And return to the tropics in an equally long time
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.Find #5393
A few days ahead to explore this beautiful hot city. So much caching on offer, and apologies for the generic log.
And so it goes, just happy to pick up caches such as this one. Thanks to GeocachingTownsville for putting out and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment!

You don't have to go under but it's under. No lid, needs new container. Nice bike path.
Found this with Laz the geodog second walk of the afternoon. Apparently one was not enough so if you want two we're going to find some caches as well.
Very easy! We found it in the dark! Be aware of the muggles! Someone really JAMMED it well!
We almost thought that the cache was a piece of rubbish.
Thank you for the Cache - Ryan and Regan

A quick find and like the last one, this one had been disturbed. Cache placed back where I think it belongs. T4TC
Nice stroll between bridges and sure enough another troll to be found! Needed the kids help to ensure the hint remained true but otherwise a great cache!
Mr CNQ had a workshop cancelled and suddenly had more time to troll some caches. Quick find, sign and replace thanks GeocachingTownsville.
Found this one out in the open.
Took the time to hide a bit better after signing the log.
Thank you for placing this geocache GeocachingTownsville

A fairly typical troll - easy to see, not so easy to grab. A big help nobody came along at the time. TFTC GeocachingTownsville.
Staying a couple of days in Townsville - after our last stay is over 10 years ago.
Sucking in all the nice spots, like this one.

Was very exposed. Logged and covered before heading off to clear another one from the map
We were in Townsville Australia for the day on Holland America’s Amsterdam. We saw that there were many caches along the biking/walking trail along the Ross River. So we took a taxi about 7 miles out of the city and started our geocaching walk back to the port from there.
It did not start out well, as the first cache took us through some high grass, muddy and flooded area, and to a totally mosquito-infested area by the river - and it was raining. We did not take our repellent with us, not knowing how many mosquitos there were. On top of that we had to log a DNF, after a long but unsuccessful search for the cache.
We walked the muddy trail to the second cache and the mosquitos all around that area and it was still raining. We did find the cache quickly and moved on.
The next cache finally took us up onto the paved trail, out of the woods, and a few less mosquitos. By that time we were tired of all of the mosquitos. So Marbles walked to the nearest house, knocked on the door, and asked if he could buy any mosquito repellent they might have. The owners were very nice to us. They would not sell it to us, but brought out two cans of spray and let us put as much as we wanted on ourselves. We had a nice chat with them and moved on.
The rest of the day went much better – It stopped raining, the mosquitos stopped bothering us, and all of the other caches were either on or just off the paved trail. By the end of the day we found 26 caches and only added one more DNF.
Thank you to GeocachingTownsville for 15 of the caches in the RRPT trail series, OzGeoker for 3, choppersrule for 2, and the other 6 COs for their efforts and for their caches.

Out on the leap year to log some hides.
Despite the rain these containers are holding up well. I’m not holding up as well against the mozzies.

{*STF*} I found this geocache all by myself, then I sat at the nearby bench with my mum skatierocks to see what is inside ~ signed log. Dropped a pathtag! ~ super happy i didn’t see any Trolls ~ TFTC
Found with my geo-munchkin AmazingGracieGrace who turned 4 yesterday & wanted to find a geocache all on her own. She found it on a nice Tuesday late in the morning after visiting our GP. Best cure for a virus is some sunshine ️ so we visited this one GZ to locate this geocache today ~ TFTC
The nearby bench was a nice rest stop to sign the log. TN. RAF.

I wasn’t going to go and get this one as I have been unwell... however ... I was on my way to dinner. Surely... it wouldn’t hurt. Another nice part of Townsville to explore. I have never been here before and I enjoyed this little oasis. It was a lot cooler than caching this morning. Also another {*FTF*} for the day... how lucky am I?
