Out caching with Cherryfromtheblock on the Florabella pass track.Came to this one and CFTB said oh yeah I found this one the other day too.So I went in for the cache and as we were chilling and eating some strawberries another couple came walking along with their dog Snowy. I was wearing my geocaching Tshirt so that struck up a conversation about caching.TFTC.
Ducked down here while at my lunch break, quite pretty down here & shame I cant stay too long, cheers for the placement
The Florabella Pass walk was nearing it's end. I definitely agree with the CO - there are some amazing rock structures on this track and some wonderful examples of different types of weathering in the sandstone formations. I also think the sandstone steps on this track (and really many many other similar tracks all through Sydney and the Blue Mountains) bushland are quite amazing. In one section of this walk they are convict creations. The rest of the way they are just very very old. How did they manage to make them with limited tools and skills, and then position them along the track?Once again we all approached the GZ area form different directions and this time it was Mighty Minions who made the find. We like to share it around!TFTC # 5767
Out caching with Everesthigh, Brewmaker, JG9172 and Jackscruff this morning. The weather got quite hot and humid, but we had a great day with lots of geochat and laughs. Our last find on this trail and very happy for a quick find so we could get back to the air conditioning of the car. Thanks for the cache lobsterknees tnln replaced as found sl
Found with our team consisting of BEJJM. After going too far, a cry of FOUND IT told me to go back. Nice hide under the overhanging rock. TFTC
#6 Lower Blues hike OCW with BEJJM. Thanks to the COs for placing these cache #2437
Loving this Florabella Track, despite the very hot day. OCW Mighty Minions, Brewmaker, Jackscruff and JG9172. SL as BEJJM. TFTC lobsterknees
So many stunning places to hide a cache here. Took a little while to find the right spot. Plenty of water flowing down the creek here. Great spot. TFTC
Found this little treasure on the way down. Just had to watch my head on retrieval.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
An easy find as I climbed out from the walking track below, was quite a warm walk out so the diversion was welcome. Good to see more bush caches out.
Parked at Bridge St. Came down with dog. Quick find at gz. Cache all good. Great area to explore. Fav point.
Tftc - located after a decent search. The fallen tree sent us in all directions. Second time here with success!
MrT went on a walk from home to Blaxland, and on to the track, as he needs to keep up his fitness for SES. Continued on from the Florabella Heights cache for a quick find. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. A nice walk on a smoky day.
I took the hint a little to literally and spent too long a bit lower. Eventually I followed the GPS to a higher and smaller one and spotted the camouflage and the cache pretty quick. Now to get back up!?!
I had lost my pen and signed in charcoal!?!

A stunning walk with well maintained trails (steps!) and great scenery. I first targetted the cache further down and pondered whether to look as I walked near this cache but left this for the way back to help throw a spanner in alnics ftf predictions.
I looked in many places until I found the obvious spot that aligned with the hint and was then able to sign. Thanks lobsterknees for placing these caches. I hope to come back to tbis area again soon.

**FTF** 4:15 if anyone is counting.
The message popped up during class time and we looked at the map and saw there were two. I told my year 3s about the FTF thing and said I had little chance at that. I put 4 names on the board and said that one of these should get there first.
Now for the cache itself. The walk down was beautiful. One reason for a fave point. The terrain rating was accurate, I guess, but I was at my limits. Not so much in heights, but slipperiness and sticking my head into crevices. Not my idea of fun...though it is today.
The 8 letter compound word in the hint needs to be taken seriously, as it was not one of the small ones. I could have saved a lot of time, scratches and laundry if I had realised that earlier. That being said, reaching the cache is what got me most dirty and scratched.
I was worried about the heat of the day, but it did not apply down here. Temps were very pleasant.
far as being a FTF Hound, with something like 13 or 14, I’m not so sure...a couple have been quite inadvertent, (insert Woody Allen quote from Love and Death), but I did enjoy this one immensely.
I’ll leave the other one to see if my prediction comes true. I will add one more band to that list on the board tomorrow. 1 of 5.
Thanx Lobsterknees. That is everything a geocache should be...
