After checking on my challenge list to see what is next to work on, I see a possible challenge cache that I may now qualify for. I did a check back and yes I now qualify for this challenge. I remember driving around grabbing this cache for this series and checking out what is required for the challenges. At the point of signing the log the checker said I did not qualify, yet.There are so many very creative and doable challenges in this series and I look forward to getting some more. I am not sure when I did qualify but it was signed when I was in Canberra for the mega. Thanks for the fun challenge and it also gives me something else to work towards, finishing all the states.[chamad](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=chamad) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8F2W0/46032 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.OK: POINTS (2138){1134: User has 1134 finds (0 needed) Filters:( difficulties (1) )1004: User has 1004 finds (0 needed) Filters:( terrains (1) )}

We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. TFTC FurfacesLL for the challenge L.U.C.Y Series 2000 D1/T1 Finds Challenge #7. The Canberra Mega has finished but we are still here for a few days before we head back home. We were out with Honeysucker, Wollaston and MeAndDe for a day of caching as we were heading back into Canberra we stopped off at this series of challenges. We found 8 of the 10 as we did not have a necessary tool with us. Not sure of our qualifications at the moment but will check when we get home.
We are just signing this one now and will move to a find once we get the qualifications or have the time to log it. Thank you so much for this wonderful challenge.
Up at the Canberra geobash and today with the family was a touristy and fun day plus most of these challenges along here except for a couple of the harder ones which I will get in another 5 years or so when I am closer to qualifying. Dont quite qualify for this one yet. Thanks FurfacesLL for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Another fantastic day here in Canberra, the locals have certainly turned the wonderful weather for the event, maybe they had a chat with the Lord Above. We did not find many caches today but they certainly are quality caches. We signed a couple of challenge caches that we do not qualify for but found many others that we do qualify for and signed. The event last night was fantastic with loads of people to chat with. Day 8: Cruising Canberra again Yet again today myself, Anymules and Muff1 set out to try and find a few more caches. A lot of puzzles were solved over many months preparing for this trip so we wanted to grab a few of those. During the last two days the puzzle finds and concentrating on completing the USG series of challenge caches meant that when we checked this morning we had all finally qualified for as particular cache. So that cache, some L.U.C.Y. caches and a special Wedding were the targets for today. ***Thanks FurfacesLL for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

I made it to the outskirts of Canberra late last night and managed to get in a camping spot next to Grannysmith. This made it easy to go out this morning as we set oFf to grab a few caches around the area and in particular the LUCY series. I did not know that she has done a few already. This was an interesting series and a nice road to csche along. Some of the Challenges I know I will qualify for and some I will have to check. Four years ago, a Bromance team adventure to hike Australia's highest 10 peaks in Kosciuszko National Park was cancelled after bushfires devastated the Snowy Mountains (and indeed most of the Eastern seaboard). We finally returned to Kosciuszko National Park a few days ago and have just spent three wonderful days in perfect weather hiking a circuit around the mountains climbing Australia's 13 highest peaks and collecting all the alpine caches along our route. After a recovery night and a few selected virtual caches in Canberra last night, the plan today is to grab some further chosen caches around Canberra before heading north late afternoon and caching on the way towards Goulburn.Again not much chance of ever qualifying this one, but it was nice to stamp the logbook with our Bromance stamp anyway. TFTC FurfacesLL
Crookedpete, JezNDez and I were part of a group of 7 geocachers from Brisbane who set off on a 3 day hike to climb to the summit of 13 of the highest mountains in Kosciuszko National Park. Originally this hike was supposed to have been undertaken after Xmas in 2019 but the rampant bushfires closed the park just as I was picking up my fellow team members from Sydney Airport. Now, four years later and it is finally mission accomplished, and we are slowly making the drive back to Queensland, collecting a number of caches on our to-do list along the way.Another one where my D/T rating would be absolutely smashed to smithereens if I ever tried to qualify. Not likely to ever see a smiley on this one.Logbook stamped with The Bromance team stamp to save space in the logbook. TFTC
Today, I came past here with barb2e, Domsky and Smittengranny on an impromptu caching trip. I was the only one who had not signed any of this series and the others had some. So we stopped at each cache and sorted who needed to still sign. Had not had time to check my eligibility, but from previous checks I had put succeeding in this far in the future. I need to find a lot more caches to qualify for most of them. TFTC

We drove along this quiet road many months ago, and signed the log for all of these challenges. Some challenges we did meet, others, we may never meet, but we had fun with the variety of hides, and every now, and then we check back to see if we are any closer to qualifying. For this one, we were well below the required level when we signed the log, and today we have checked again, and meet the criteria here. Yippeee!D1/T1. In our early days of Geocaching, we had no idea what a D/T even meant. Of course over the years we now understand! Needless to say we have had great pleasure in some of the easier finds along the way; they make up for some of the more torturous and enduring adventures we have had either puzzle solving or out in the field. We add a favourite point to this simple but challenging challenge! After the Dream Team found a targeted tree cache down the road it was decided that we were close enough to sign the remainder of the series while we had some key TOTTs in the cars. So, in convoy we went.
Although none of us qualified for any caches of this series today we hoped that in another life the log may still count. For some caches we don't expect to qualify ever but we had a lot of fun in the process. Thx FurfacesLL.

The date being what it is today, Pa and I decided to meet up in Bungendore for lunch . I was in the mood for some more solo caching so chose a very roundabout route to get there. Unfortunately I do not qualify yet but am working towards this challenge and will log it when I do qualify. TFTCC SL
Following the LUCY trail along the old federal highway.
A couple of fun climbs, most of the caches were easy finds.

Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.
Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.
The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.
In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
According to the checker at Project-GC, I qualify for this challenge.

#14785 - 11:47:00 AM; Sol de lune dropped by to pick me up and we headed off for a couple of events with a spot of caching in between. After attending the CITO, it was time for more caching before our next event at lunch time. This series was our major target for today and we managed to find all of them and add our names to the logs.

Wooohooo!
I finally qualify for this tough challenge! I signed the log in the FTF spot when it was first published back in June 2020, but was still approx 350 caches short!
This challenge made me start adding D1 or T1 caches to my "to find" list, even when I was interstate! They are quite rare so each time I was interstate I would pick up any along the way if they were convenient, when usually they are caches I tend to skip unless for another reason! After a lot of work, and of course some events to help push me along the way, I am now able to log a find
Thanks FurfacesLL! Still plenty in this challenging series I need to work towards, but happy to be one more down!

Catching up on some very late logs.
Day 3 of our planned assault on Canberra with the same group consisting of The Drovers, Phetlern, Micaparamedic,
Alansee GoodLook, and ourselves.
We had another busy but very enjoyable day chasing series caches and happily we found all we were looking for with no DNF's
We all had a fantastic day and would like to write more but as we have said when you do so many in such a short time it is hard to remember individual hides.
This in no means takes away from our appreciation to the CO's for all the effort, time and expense they have done to let us find so many caches.
As per the other two days we signed as "The Mob" to save room in the log books.
Many thanks /// for the hides and the fun.
Wow - we so lucky to be able to explore so many different areas of the Aussie landscape following our passion for the geo game, particularly in the company of Alansee, Good Look, Micaparamedic, Team Crackers and The Drovers. (For economy of space logs of caches we found are stamped "The Mob"

We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to FurfacesLL for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.
