Previously signed log 2/4/24. Today was one of those days that I had a spare minute to follow-up a Challenge caches that I either didnt qualify for at the time of signing the log, or simply didnt check because I was just more interested in finding caches at the time. Today is one of those I cracked a from the checker, so Im claiming a find as of today. Challenge completed Its a great day for caching! TFTC FurfacesLLProject-GC has confirmed today that Wollaston meets the requirements of this challenge.
After checking on my challenge list to see what is next to work on, I see a possible challenge cache that I may now qualify for. I did a check back and yes I now qualify for this challenge. I remember driving around grabbing this cache for this series and checking out what is required for the challenges. At the point of signing the log the checker said I did not qualify, yet. There are so many very creative and doable challenges in this series and I look forward to getting some more. I am not sure when I did qualify but it was signed when I was in Canberra for the mega. Thanks for the fun challenge and it also gives me something else to work towards, finishing all the states.[chamad](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=chamad) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8F2W4/46033 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.**Traditional Cache** (7434)**Unknown Cache** (4080)**Wherigo Cache** (697)**Multi-cache** (657)

The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 6. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. TFTC FurfacesLL for the challenge L.U.C.Y Series 4 Types with 400 Finds Challenge #8. The Canberra Mega has finished but we are still here for a few days before we head back home. We were out with Honeysucker, Wollaston and MeAndDe for a day of caching as we were heading back into Canberra we stopped off at this series of challenges. We found 8 of the 10 as we did not have a necessary tool with us. Not sure of our qualifications at the moment but will check when we get home.
We are just signing this one now and will move to a find once we get the qualifications or have the time to log it. Thank you so much for this wonderful challenge.
Up at the Canberra geobash and today with the family was a touristy and fun day plus most of these challenges along here except for a couple of the harder ones which I will get in another 5 years or so when I am closer to qualifying. Signed as well but dont quite qualify for this yet. Thanks FurfacesLL for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Another fantastic day here in Canberra, the locals have certainly turned the wonderful weather for the event, maybe they had a chat with the Lord Above. We did not find many caches today but they certainly are quality caches. We signed a couple of challenge caches that we do not qualify for but found many others that we do qualify for and signed. The event last night was fantastic with loads of people to chat with. Day 8: Cruising Canberra again Yet again today myself, Anymules and Muff1 set out to try and find a few more caches. A lot of puzzles were solved over many months preparing for this trip so we wanted to grab a few of those. During the last two days the puzzle finds and concentrating on completing the USG series of challenge caches meant that when we checked this morning we had all finally qualified for as particular cache. So that cache, some L.U.C.Y. caches and a special Wedding were the targets for today. ***Thanks FurfacesLL for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

I made it to the outskirts of Canberra late last night and managed to get in a camping spot next to Grannysmith. This made it easy to go out this morning as we set oFf to grab a few caches around the area and in particular the LUCY series. I did not know that she has done a few already. This was an interesting series and a nice road to csche along. Some of the Challenges I know I will qualify for and some I will have to check. Thanks for the series and all logs were signed and caches returned as found

This morning I went for a drive to go sign the log for this cache. I've been working on in for some time now, and it was nice to go get it.I was sitting on between 350 and 400 wherigo caches for ages. On the way back from The Great Leap Forward mega event in Adelaide, I completed a bunch of the On you Bike wherigos, and suddenly I was over the 400 mark.[ZQX](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=ZQX) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8F2W4/46033 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.**Unknown Cache** (2573)**Traditional Cache** (2363)**Multi-cache** (514)**Wherigo Cache** (417)Thanks for the challenge and the cache!
Signed the log for this challenge on 5/12/20 and thought I would need to build up my earthcache numbers as had 3 other cache types that were already past 400. Four years ago, a Bromance team adventure to hike Australia's highest 10 peaks in Kosciuszko National Park was cancelled after bushfires devastated the Snowy Mountains (and indeed most of the Eastern seaboard). We finally returned to Kosciuszko National Park a few days ago and have just spent three wonderful days in perfect weather hiking a circuit around the mountains climbing Australia's 13 highest peaks and collecting all the alpine caches along our route. After a recovery night and a few selected virtual caches in Canberra last night, the plan today is to grab some further chosen caches around Canberra before heading north late afternoon and caching on the way towards Goulburn. Finally a challenge I don't qualify for, but am likely to get to in the next year or two. I currently have only 3 groups (Traditional Cache, Unknown Cache and Multi-cache_ of 400 or more caches of the same type. I still need to find another 160 or so earth caches to complete the 4th group.Logbook stamped with the Bromance team stamp here today. TFTC FurfacesLL
Crookedpete, JezNDez and I were part of a group of 7 geocachers from Brisbane who set off on a 3 day hike to climb to the summit of 13 of the highest mountains in Kosciuszko National Park. Originally this hike was supposed to have been undertaken after Xmas in 2019 but the rampant bushfires closed the park just as I was picking up my fellow team members from Sydney Airport. Now, four years later and it is finally mission accomplished, and we are slowly making the drive back to Queensland, collecting a number of caches on our to-do list along the way.No problem making the find here and stamped the logbook with The Bromance team stamp to save space in the logbook. Today, I came past here with barb2e, Domsky and Smittengranny on an impromptu caching trip. I was the only one who had not signed any of this series and the others had some. So we stopped at each cache and sorted who needed to still sign. Had not had time to check my eligibility, but from previous checks I had put succeeding in this far in the future. I need to find a lot more caches to qualify for most of them. TFTC

We will be lucky to ever log a L.U.C.Y. but just in case.....Visited and signed with catnap777 on the 3rd day of our holiday caching in NSW and the ACT. With so much to choose from, cat' and I were targetting unsigned Challenge Caches on this trip. [^] Of course, there were plenty of other distractions along the way that we occasionally allowed ourselves to succumb to including the odd trad, multi or solved mystery. Again we had a long list and a tight schedule, and again we have been amazed at what we can achieve in the time we have. TFTC and challenge FurfacesLL.
Cache found and log signed with dalerious . We came to Canberra with an immense and impressive list of caches. There was a huge variety and types, covering Yass and Goulburn as well .The priority for us this trip, was to sign as many Challenge caches as we could. There were many we had to hike for . There were a few that were not found which was disappointing, but plenty that were found and signed. Some beautiful country was covered by foot and vehicle, and we had a ball.I will be using this generic log for all of the Challenge caches, but I will mention if there was an issue with the hide, container or log where possible .Please accept my humble thanks for all CO's effort on placing out these awesome Challenges for us to find, sign and one day qualify for.I have logged all as a Write Note, and I will duly log them as Found as I start to work through them all .

I visited this cache back in March 2021 and only had two qualifying types at the time.
It’s taken some time, but with a few Wherigo power trails and filling in my multi calendar, I now qualify for the this challenge. Think this is the first and only of the LUCY challenges I qualify for so far. Lots more work to do!

After the Dream Team found a targeted tree cache down the road it was decided that we were close enough to sign the remainder of the series while we had some key TOTTs in the cars. So, in convoy we went.
Although none of us qualified for any caches of this series today we hoped that in another life the log may still count. For some caches we don't expect to qualify ever but we had a lot of fun in the process. Thx FurfacesLL.

CaptainVimes and I are on a driving holiday from Melbourne to Canberra this week. I have signed the log. I will have to check to see whether I qualify. Thanks for the challenge FurfacesLL
As time goes on I find I qualify for more and more of these.
Glad to pick up a few more on my way to Canberra to participate in Dawn Service.

We had driven past this one a number of times, knowing that we did not qualify.
It looked like we needed some more earth caches.
Somehow, over the last months, after our recent road trip, we have now qualified with wherigos, rather than earthcaches.
Very nice!
Log now signed, and a smiley here for us.
Thanks FurfacesLL. These challenges will keep us busy for some years, we think

The date being what it is today, Pa and I decided to meet up in Bungendore for lunch . I was in the mood for some more solo caching so chose a very roundabout route to get there. This was one on the route that I qualify to log and now that the log bears manage I am logging it.
Thanks FurfacesLL for these doable challenges that I can retrieve by myself. I always enjoy your caches as they are more than caches for caches sake and encourage us to get out there and enjoy our game. Have a FP .

Day 5 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to Yass, NSW and surrounds for a week away to find a few caches. Today we headed from Goulburn to Bowning, hitting the local trails around Goulburn and North of the ACT and a few others around the area before attending an event in Sutton for the afternoon then heading back up and out to Yass area.
Thanks for the cache

Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.
Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.
The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.
In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
According to the checker at Project-GC, I qualify for this challenge.

#14786 - 11:49:00 AM; Sol de lune dropped by to pick me up and we headed off for a couple of events with a spot of caching in between. After attending the CITO, it was time for more caching before our next event at lunch time. This series was our major target for today and we managed to find all of them and add our names to the logs.
