It's my third time here. The first was when the look out didn't exist and another cache was in place. The second time I was time limited. This time, with the help of a past hint I located the cache. The log book is full though so have attached a photo of the log sheet. This is a beautiful spot. Not quite as good a look shot as above but still worth the spot. Tftc
Took a good search, eventually spotted it about when I think we were going to give up. Nice views.Today started in the lovely town of Yapoon. I was surprised at its size and popularity, but worthy as it is a nice place I'm pleased to have visited. We spent the best part of the morning exploring coastal caches, esrhcaches, a virtual and adventure labs which saw some great locations.Back into Rockhampton to complete the adventure lab in the botanical gardens with a few caches while there. I quite enjoyed the gardens, a nice area although not so caravan parking friendly but we managed!Leaving Rockhampton, iit was out to Mount Morgan for an earthcsche, an AL and more caches. The mine was an incredible site, such an old mine with its buildings and chimneys, a nice town too. A short travelling day, despite hoping to cover some ground, we stopped in Delulu early, a free camp in town had us spending the evening around a campfire with other campers. Thanks for your cache.
The wife and I are both on the average side of tall. Needless to say, she climbed me like a tree to get the job done
What a great view. Thank you for a reason to stop and enjoy. Had to get our Go Go Gadget legs into action. Clever.
Finally able to avenge my DNF from a couple of years ago. Up for a funeral and I asked family to stop and help me look but could not find. Today up visiting again and got here on sunset so was a bit worried but after looking ended up finding as I was about to give up. Fabulous views.Time to visit Qld again. Up visiting family and doing some small road trips. Thanks for getting me out and about annalukeoli
When I saw how much long grass there was around this lookout, I almost didn't stick around to search. Glad I ended up taking a moment to enjoy the view from the platform. Cache is in good condition. TFTC annalukeoli
Beautiful views. The cache could have been anywhere and TheSkype spotted the hide with his head looking up into the sky. Tftc
#4411 Found on tour with GM from Canberra, reaching Airlie Beach and now heading home, today from Rocky. Nice hide. Watch the fancy spiders and big brother. Nice views too.
We stayed in Rockhampton for two nights Here's one to find today.Thank you for placing the cache annalukeoli.
We're on our way back home to Brisbane, but there's always time to stop off for a cache. We drove past this lookout before doubling back to take in the view. This looked like a likely place for a cache to be placed, and yep there it was. Sandy did the honours.---Over a week ago we made a trip up to Yeppoon to visit family and some of the big things dotted around the state. On the way we stopped off at Noosa Heads (big pelican) and Maryborough before staying in Hervey Bay (big whales) for a couple of days to break up the journey. Whilst in Hervey Bay we went out on a glass bottomed boat and explored Big Woody Island and Round Island. Onwards again and we visited Childers, Gin Gin and got stuck in a crazy tailback a few kilometers from Miriam Vale (big crab, big donut and big Magpie). It would have been rude not to pick up a cache or two on our journey North. We visited Great Keppel and did some snorkeling (and Jack spotted a large sting ray), Emu Park to view the Singing Ship, Rockhampton (big bulls) to visit the zoo (which I wasn't too keen on) and just about every restaurant and coffee shop in Yeppoon. It's a lovely part of the world. On the way back home (boo) we visited the caves at Cania Gorge and stayed overnight at the retreat and then on to the Three Moons Silo Mural, Gayndah (big orange) and then onto the Bruce and straight back home.Thanks!!#3546
Easy little park and grab. The cash is in good condition. Signed and replaced. Thanks annalukeoli for placing the cache in this wonderful place.
For once a barrier was not a barrier but an aide. Mr TiedyeSmileys was the contortionist monkey grabbing the cache

Day 4 of the CQ Reflection Road trip - I arrived in Mt Morgan yesterday intending to complete the geocaches and a ride around the MTB tracks. Mother nature had different ideas as it was pouring cats and dogs. Now while I do admire furry friends including wet ones riding around caching in all the moisture is a tad uncomfortable. So it was meals and drink afternoon for ruzzelz.
Reading a few logs on this cache provided the information needed to seek out this cache. No rain protection or brooms required to extract this cache on my part.

Had a few goes at finding this one before we finally found it today! Victory at last!
Such a great view from this spot! TFTC!

Parked and looked on the way to Mount Morgan. I couldn’t get the smartphone any closer than 14m at this spot. (Thx Telstra ) At MM I browsed the previous logs and had an Aha! moment.
Fast forward...
Driving down the range and pulled over again. Yes, now I see it! I think. But no way I can reach it. Definitely a T2.5 from my perspective. Back to the car and ignoring passing traffic, I rigged up a tool of sorts. This involved a golf umbrella, a flexible wand, and 3 cable ties.
Cache logged Easy enough to lob it back into place.
TFTC annalukeoli Nice vista from up here.

Stopped in for a quick look see and had no luck, did find wild life however quite tricky
I went under (don’t - it’s full of toilet paper and waste). Up high, real high and the cache was in hand.
It rained too.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
annalukeoli, I found Stopford way lookout today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 115. Rockhampton Day 1. I headed south and west to reach a few caches today. I had my most effective time around Gracemere. I then visited the southern suburbs of Rockhampton, with a fun walk around the Botanic Gardens. I had to venture over the river for the last for the day to reach the number I was hoping for.
Despite this cache being well out of the way, I was happy to come up here. The view down the valley was impressive, even if it was a bit misty. The cache was soon found and I was able to get on my way, just as some other travelers pulled up.
Thanks for the cache annalukeoli

On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Great views and stopping place. Took a while to find but was just a process of checking everywhere. Lucky no one else stopped.

Don’t go over edge Yes difficult but not crazy Fabulous views thanks for having us stop Cheers
Time has come to start heading leisurely south again but not before doing a few more zig zags to try and pick up a few more lab caches.
Today we are heading to Gladstone via Biloela picking up anything else that pops up on the screen.
This was the first for the day and what a fantastic way to start. We pulled up to find some amazing scenery made even better by the fact that we were the only ones here. The cache took a little while to locate. We read a couple of logs and then realised the terrain rating and not long after that we had the cache in hand, signed the log and replaced. We signed as TC to save room in the log and then admired the views for awhile before heading off.
Thanks very much for the cache.

Well worth taking the windy road to get this cache, rather than the other road that google wanted me to take to avoid this windy road! I wouldn't of had the pleasure of stopping at this lookout and finding a cache otherwise!
Wow, this would be impossible with muggles around, so I was thankful that it was wet and raining, so nobody wanted to stop here and I had the place to myself!
Made a quick find thanks to the previous log

**Today:**
Day 18 of my road trip, now heading back to Canberra from the Townsville Mega Event!
Today I drove between Mackay - Theodore, it rained the ENTIRE day, but I still cached my way along the route.
I actually ran into tronador from Sydney today, which was a pretty huge coincidence now that it was well after the mega and we were no longer in Townsville! We found each other at one Earthcache, and then both headed to the same Earthcache next, which was at a cave system! This was extremely lucky as neither of us would have explored this cave alone, but now that we had a friend we entered the cave and had a bit of a look around feeling safer with the situation!
Luckily the rain radar was completely clear from 6pm, so I was able to camp out in Theodore without getting wet! Wooooo! I delayed setting up my swag until it stopped completely, and it didn't rain again, gosh I was lucky! Had a pleasant night!
Thanks to all the CO's

A really beautiful view from GZ. I’m glad we stopped here and read the history. Also interesting history about the design of this structure.
After looking in all the wrong spots, we finally chose the right spot and soon this one signed.
Great place for a geocache.
Thanks annalukeoli

Another DNF... looked in the highs and lows .. even the intrepid 6'4 GoPopp couldn't find it. But intriguing design of the lookout... shameful all the litter below.
Found today on my long awaited trip to visit our daughter in Townsville via Rocky. Thankfully the lookout emptied not long after I arrived. (Wonder if I need a bath?).
That made searching much easier and after a couple of failed hunts I reread the logs. Ah ha. I had an idea and two. There it was. Not what I was expecting in that spot, but perfect. Well done on a tricky hide !!
Thanks for the cache.

This was a hard one , at least it’s close to home so will have to come back to this one
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. Held up a bit due to Covid19 and major knee surgery, so currently in Queensland only, but there are plenty of caches in our home state that we have not yet found.
Currently, we are farm sitting near Rockhampton for three months, so hoping to clear out Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gracemere, Gladstone and Mt Morgan!
We were here on Boxing Day, and posted a DNF - that was because we were looking in the wrong spot, so after a nudge from the CO, we returned today.
With our eyes peeled in the right direction, we were still not able to locate the hide, so after another nudge from the CO, and a shove from another cacher, we finally went to great heights to put our hands on this great hide.
Fav point awarded for making us work so hard for this hide. thanks annalukeoli

It is Boxing Day today, so we decided to head up to Mt Morgan, even though the two trads there are unobtainable to us, and I am not a fan of multis on hot days. Great day for caching.
Sadly, a DNF for us. This D/T would have been good for our stats, but Mr D spent way too much time at GZ looking. At least he was in the shade. May be able to come back another day for another look.

Yahoo, first to find..............this year!
Almost about to give it up after a good back and forth ten odd minutes, before stepping back for a rethink..
Then had my hands on it in moments.
Nicely done. And at a great viewpoint too.
Thanks for hiding a cache here!
Happy to claim some unloved.
Found sometime after two pm.

Stopped in for a look at the view and to attempt this cache. No luck for us today
Stopped here on our way for a drive to Mt Morgan while staying with family at Bouldercombe.
Beautiful lookout with great views but sadly no luck with the cache.

Stopped here with Clan-mess and the rest of the family. It is nice spot with great views but we had no luck with the cache.
On our way to Rockhampton for an event tonight so took a slight detour up the range to have a look at this one. Used the posted c o ordinates and when we arrived I took a look and said to myself that this one D4 will be found in 5 minutes or much much longer or not at all. thought where I would hide this one and not giving anything away did find it in under 5 minutes. Very clever and sneaky hide. This one is worth the D rating. Wonderful view from here. Very good one for your first hide. A favourite point from me for the hide. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small log sheets to save room on the paper as I tend to write a little on the large side.

#FTF# Gotcha !!! Drove home to Yeppoon from Glen Innes NSW and stopped to look for this new cache on the way past. Spent quite a bit of time searching but finally put the GPS back in the truck and searched where I'd place a cache here. Bingo . A very good hide for a new cacher, thanks for your efforts and TFTC. Visited TBs and GCs and a Fav. Pt. from me for your hide and the great views from GZ.
