We think Sallies might be right about this cache taking a trip down the river. We too are fairly sure we were in the right spot (based on 7 satellites, the decoded hint and the name of the cache itself)but a fair amount of poking around in the cache vicinity didn't turn up any ice-cream containers. Great area for a sunset walk, however - cache or no cache!

The cache seems to have vanished Fun while it lasted. I may re-establish it some time but don't bother looking for it from now on.

We had hoped for one last find before our whirlwind visit came to an end but it was not to be! This is a great place - what houses! - and a lovely river walk. We are positive that we had the right spot and that we searched every nook and cranny but the cache was not there. We think it has been taken.
Thanks anyway

I was close, very close... got this one on the way back from Harbour View on impulse (had the GPS on, and noticed how close this was). Dug around, but didn't find it.

Don't bother checking to see if it's still there; there were too many places to check, to check them all properly. I'll give it another go some time next week.

Nothing in, splinter out Wink

A relatively easy first find for today, a fine day, and the tide in, (Eat your heart out Little Drawf) I made the right approach but first I had to wait for the lawnmower man to finish and then for a lady exercising her dogs to move away. The logbook was a bit damp so aired it a bit.
I had travel bug Moose Loose along but decided not to risk him with the college students knowing about this cache

Previously visited by 10 students from the college, They respected the game and placed a razor and a pen in (& signed the log). Nothing in or out. Definitely approached from the wrong direction and ended up removing half a ton of mud on my shoes, up my legs, in my hair.... Would be very scenic at high tide.

Woo Hoo. Found annuver one! Actually gave up, turned to walk back and spotted it. Was slightly exposed and I covered it over. Took soap and left Medic pen. The hint needs to mention the hard thing its under. Great site.

On my first day of geocaching, this was my 2nd find, well hidden, very nice day. This is pretty fun. Took nothing, just logged the find.

Nice easy find.Picked the spot from about 20m away and was only out by about 1m.
Nice view. How much for one of those houses in Manor Park? The ones right at the front of course.
Took nothing, just logged my visit.

Spent half an hour looking for this one, getting spiked from the palm, in the end gave up and headed to Habour view. Trust me to take the clue so literally.

Came back and had another crack and found it straight away.....lol

Took nil and left nil.

The other member of Tufty's team found this cache. Tufty went looking under and around the palm tree.

Took the Vegemite van and left the Lemon & Honey Hot drink.

Can't believe the mansions in this area! Not too hard to find the cache with a bit of rummaging around. Swapped the dice for a squash ball.

Awesome, found it this time, third time lucky. I wonder how many hours after M@?

Took nothing and left nothing. Was gunna leave a little rubber ducky I picked up in Tauranga that wants to travel the world, but forgot to bring it with me.

Did bring my digital camera, so took sum photos.

I nearly gave up, we looked in all the wrong places until Pam spotted it Big Grin when I sat down to have a rest.

A group of walkers wondered what we were doing scrabbling around the bank. We had to wait until they had left before leaving a Dice and taking the UK badge.

Smile Found this new site Great views of all the boats on a good sunny day.
Got my feet very wet with all the water running down the bank after rain. Two ducks wanted some lunch form the cache as I looked inside.
Took the disk holder and left some Red Face[8)]Wink[:X] rubbers and a UK badge
