Find # 1272914/9/2024 Met up with Stinjali for a cycle around Lake G after our initial plans to do a section of the Centennial Trail were aborted due to a lack of planning. Also not convinced that Stinjalis was up for a cross trek. And so a loop of LG was the default option. We managed a super quick loop in <30mins, and when I suggested another lap this time to pick up some caches, seemed like a good idea.Only one DNF, and it turns out that was because my coords were out All finds very straightforward here today, and caches in good condition. Thanks Bigdadda06 for By The Lake
Out for the day with DARKSIDEDAN and C10A to get as many points as possible for the Cosmic Quest. Logs signed DQ10. Thank you to all of the local geocachers who are absolute legends for hiding these caches!
TFTF!!! On a road trip to Canberra finding many caches. Unfortunately we didnt have a pen but thankfully one was included!
I decided after the CITO today I'd make good use of the weather today and pick up some caches in the area.Nice and quick find, my main trouble was avoiding the muggles walking by, this is a busy area on a weekend!Thank you for the cache!
Picked this one up after tackling the ART graffic wall nearby. Was quite taken by this fungi attached to the side of a nearby tree. What a beast of a thingthanks!
Found with buckoraider this morning after doing some ladder job cachesI dropped a TB here tooHope it travels!
Day 7 for me in Canberra and it's Easter Sunday but there was no Easter Egg hunt for us as we were on a caching mission. Following the early breakfast event Tiz13 had fuelled up on her bacon and eggs and was onto her second coffee. Round 2 of chasing the High D/T's today involved more trees more bridges and some ..logs signed Vic6 Rebel Acts, Slowdog, The Empire, Bellahappychappy and CM. Again we rewarded ourselves with a pub meal and a drink following the day of caching shenanigans..
Found while attending the mega in Canberra. I had a great time caching and catching up with friends. This is one of the caches found today. Spent the day chasing DT combos with Tiz13, Bellahappychappy, CharisMaree, The Empire and Slowdog.Logs sign as V6 or LLTRA or RA.Thanks Bigdadda06 for the cache.
Found by The Empire with another bunch of lovely geocachers we assembled at the Ainsley morning event.Today, on Easter Sunday, Canberra greeted us with a stark contrast from the misty atmosphere of yesterday. The sun blazed overhead, casting its golden rays upon the city, and the temperature rose steadily, promising a hot day ahead. Undeterred by the heat, our intrepid team of geocachers gathered once again, ready to embark on another thrilling adventure. Our motley crew, now seasoned veterans of the geocaching world, is ready to tackle whatever challenges lie ahead. With the success of yesterday's escapades still fresh in our minds, we're eager to make today even more memorable. From tricky puzzles to heart-pounding climbs, we tackle each challenge with gusto, fuelled by the thrill of the hunt and the camaraderie of our fellow geocachers. And when the sun breaks through the clouds, casting its golden rays upon us, we know that today's adventure will be one for the books.A quick find here. Signed as VIC6, or The Empire throughout the day. Thanks for the cache Bigdadda06.-M

Out today caching all around Canberra with fellow Victorian cachers. Here for the Mega and this was one of the caches we found. All good here. TFTC
Out with Bellahappychappy, Tiz13, Rebels Acts, slowdog, and the empire.Nice easy find, looks like we were the first for the MEGA to get this one which surprised me. Cache was not hidden well at all so made sure to cover properly when placing back. Thanks for the cache!
Finding the cache was easy, avoiding the contant stream of muggles enjoying a Saturday evening stroll, not so much. A nice quick find. TFTC.
A family get together and a birthday party with a great park close to GZ. This meant that we could stop by here afterwards and come for a walk to collect this cache. Log signed. A beautiful location. Thanks Bigdadda06Domsky
Despite it being an overcast day, there were still lots of muggles around. After waiting for them to pass we quickly grabbed the cache, signed the log and returned it to it's hiding spot. Log and container are in excellent condition - TFTC!
Found this one OCW cherryfromtheblock on a beautiful Friday afternoon after work. This one was CIH the first place we looked, fortunately!
We decided to try our luck with the scooters and rented a couple to zoom around the lake going from traditional to traditional while trying to figure out how the scooter, the app and the no ride zones worked.
Ended up in a no ride zone that we had been able to ride quite a way into and had to push the scooters out but all in all a very enjoyable afternoon.

Such a beautiful day to find this cache! I don’t have much reason to visit the Belco lake, but this cache has shown me a new picnic spot that I can come to more often. TFTC
Perfect cache for a casual stroll with friends. Personally found this one after a movie at hoyts in the mall, with my trusty companions jazz + e, who I'm getting into geocaching! Nice little find, tftc!
