We had a look for this cache both on our way in and out from walking down to Stony Batter but had no luck. We note that it was only found a few days ago, so maybe it is still there and we had tunnel vision based on the hint - maybe we will be back here one day to have another look
On a winter afternoon drive, really appreciated this cache close to the carpark as didn’t fancy the walk to the others in the sideways rain!! TFTC!
Quick find here by the most junior member of our group today in the obvious spot. Glad that we had the double pushchair for the preschoolers as we headed out to the tunnels today on a very hot and muggy day.
#2 interesting history. Grabbed the cache. Now to decide....more caches or wine?
TFTC!

What a interesting drive with many beautiful views via a washboard road. But this is another great piece of history I've found thanks to our game and the COs. SL TNLN TFTC!
Heading out to Stony Batter, so called in to collect this one. Nice quick find. TFTC
Visiting Waiheke for a family wedding, doing a bit of exploring and cache hunting. dont have time today to go out to the site but will come back tomorrow....thanks for a bonus hide...
My eldest found it on our return walk from Stony Batter. Another new ad to the lovely land of Waiheke
GPS is off a bit on this one. Shit road makes me feel like I’m going home. A completely different kind of beauty however. tftc
FTF 12:50 Up in Auckland for a few days for work and made sure to book in some extra time to go geocaching. Wasn't sure on exactly where I was going to go, had nothing planned, but seeing a couple of FTFs up for grabs on Waiheke Island sort of sealed the deal, been meaning to visit. Booked a ferry ticket and a rental car this morning, no worries. Made a beeline for this end of the island and going to work my way back. Quick find here on a lovely sunny afternoon, albeit a bit gusty.
