It appears the CO has decided to delete my "Write note" regarding the Disabling of this cache, so I will now raise a "Needs Maintenance" log to once again request that this cache be Disabled for the duration where no cache is available to be found. Disabling, and then re-enabling, a cache during maintenance activities is an easy task and something that we do often with our own caches when maintenance is being undertaken.
We stopped at this one as we were passing, but then realised it has been removed by the CO. The cache should be disabled while it is not available to find, which would have saved us stopping off for no reason.
This cache is out of service for maintenance. It is in need of repairs and will be placed out when the maintenance is completed. Sorry for any in convenience
Replacement log neededbut an easy find after reading about the split tree. TFTC
Thanks SpiceyRicey for this cache which gives me Bathurst on my NSW counties list.
The cache was found on the ground and was hard to get back to the likely hiding spot which might have been removed. The log could be replaced as it is almost full.

Found it!
You won't believe this but the storm 3 days ago split the fork and one side fell down. But it was still a fun find. The Geo- grandkids enjoyed finding this one.

Winter 2020 trip to Bathurst. Day 2. I joined forces with Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for another visit to Bathurst and the surrounding area to visit new caches and try to find caches we have all managed to not find on previous visits. It was an overwhelmingly successful trip where we all managed to find some nemesis caches that stretch back several years and many trips to the region. Despite the cold we camped each night and had a most enjoyable weekend now we are allowed out to roam a bit further.
Thanks for the cache SpiceyRicey

With COVID-19 restrictions eased so that we can travel within our state, fitzy_1965, albida33 and I headed into the Bathurst region for a long-awaited caching weekend away to turn as many DNF's into smilies as possible and collect any unfound caches inbetween.
Quick find here today.

After 2 months of being in Lockdown it was great that travel restrictions in NSW have been relaxed allowing non-essential travel (ie Caching) to restart. We decided that a run up around Bathurst to try to avenge a few previous DNFs was in order. A very successful trip with 13 previous DNFs crossed off. This cache was 'new' for us having never tried for it before. A pretty quick find at GZ.

due to the coronavirus I have decided to be social responsible and disabled this cache. apparently the virus can stay alive on surfaces up to 9 days, not sure if this is the case or not, However i have decided not to put anybody at risk. Please listen to the advice and stay home unless you are working or buying Essential things! This keeps our community safe. I will enable this cache after we are on the other side of coronavirus. Thank you everyone!!!
Over from Perth on work, so while in Bathurst I've spent a bit of time each day grabbing a couple of caches.
Last morning in town before heading to Sydney airport this evening.
First find of the day in a deserted park. TFTC

Found it! Ants trying to kill us lol my dog giving us hints by barking LOL woof woof
We are in Bathurst for a few days and we enjoyed meanering around finding caches. This was one we targetted and found. Nice hide. Thanks to SpiceyRicey for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
I would like to write something palindromic considering the date, but could not work pachyderm into a suitable sentence. Liked the camo - thanks.
The cache is well guarded by ants the size of cats and a beautifully camouflaged arachnid spread out along the cache. Apart from that our find was uneventful. Many thanks for the nicely camouflaged cache -apart from the spider.
Out for Australia Day
Quick find. I had to watch out for all the ants. They were all over the place

A nice easy find on a very hot day so I can get the 1/1/20 souvenir. The only good thing about the heat is that there are no muggles about. TFTC SpiceyRicey
A good way to start off the New Year with a souvenir!
I thought I'd get out early before the day became too hot.
I remember many years ago being here in the audience of a circus with my children, when a storm came up and I had to rush home to rescue our bird from the heavy rain. If only I had to do the same today..... TFTCSpiceyRicey

After reading some of the logs on previous finds, I checked on the cache. Indeed lots of ants and bees about. I decided to Protect people in getting stung and bitten I am taking the cache down until the Bee and Ant problem improves. I will keep an eye on the situation and place to cache back. Soon.
Found quick sticks awesome to have local caches to do, many thanks, please keep up the good work
Afternoon out with Hanjac. Decided to see if we could find this one. Hanjac did the honours. SL TFTC
