Hi LizBeth1998,The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, or it may not but in the absence of the cache owner performing maintenance and/or disabling the cache to check it out, I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Another dnf. I read in the activity that an earlier log suggested that this seat may have been broken. The seat I sat on was in good condition, something may have been replaced. tftc
NO LUCK HERE !Today was a fun caching day with Willis007 and geodog bella. The plan was to grab a few target caches around the scenic rim area and then continue to head off to the northern rivers area and grab a few numbers. With just a few on the list, it was easy to fill the day in further with a few extra caches as we passed by. The run for the target caches were for challenge caches in Brisbane that willis007 was working on. For me it was a nice day for a drive and a couple of interesting caches to collect along the way. While there was no pressure for the day's outing, we still managed to grab a few interesting caches and a nice tally for the day. We signed all logs and returned caches as we found them.It is a very interesting area around here and I enjoy just driving around and the views, awesome.Thank you for placing the cache here and bringing me to this area.
Stunning views in all directions here. The little cache was soon found. The log is very full and needs replacing, we squeezed our name on and replaced as found. Thanks LizBeth1998 for the cache and the view.
Tftc. Wow, the view really was amazing. I just sat on the seat, took pictures, admired the view and also got my hands on this geocache.
Great spot to sit, what a view.Log sheet full.Quick find for us hereSeat is broken maybe it won't be here much longer
Had a look at the seat, and the table under the shelter on the opposite side of the road. Found a coin under the table but no magnetic nano stuck to it.
Think it has gone. Nice views anyway.

Too wet for riding, so time for another tour in the geomobile. Stopped here for morning tea. The hill tops are trying to hide in the clouds.

We decided on an AL guided trip this afternoon, chasing town halls through the Tweed, in an area we had never explored. The road closure between Tyalgum and Uki stopped us and we had to backtrack, but had a good time, 3 ALs and 10 other finds.
Good coordinates, and a quick find, there was nowhere else to look! TFTC!

Found today while doing the AL around this area, found about 10 caches on our trip and also 3 adventure lab points, we will be back soon to complete the AL as we didn't have time today! Really nice area, from low-lying creeks to 1000+ metre mountains!

It’s a strange day today… we dropped our dog at the Ekka this morning at 6:30… we can’t even watch… so to take our mind off the drama of the Ekka Dog Show, Blkthunder and I are caching through the Tweed Valley…
The vague plan was to work our way from Murwillumbah to Tyalgum along Tyalgum Road… that fell apart when I came across a road closed…
We didn’t stop here as there were muggles about…

Think it's gone. Absolutely nothing on or around that bench. Beautiful view though and got some great pics.
While in the area today finding a FTF I was too close to this one unfound cache to not duck out and put a name on it.TFTC
Thanks for this one. Tucked away and waiting for the next searcher. All is good off for another one.
Wonderful area to explore great placement and interesting road. Thanks and fav
Murwillumbah Day 2
Our caching companions today were the Snakepitters, We planned a circular route that took us out along farming country side, with amazing mountain views, & flowing creek beds.
It was a good day out with some great cache hides in some wonderful locations
Thankyou LizBeth1998 for placing this cache.

After spending the day with the cousin in Tyalgum, I felt like I needed to get at least some caching in while in the area and went for an hour long caching mission to find 12 caches and see more of the pretty area and sunset views.
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you LizBeth1998 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Another trip south of the border to finish off an Adventure Lab and to catch some smiles. Make a list of the caches, print out some new border passes, pack the hand sanitizer, hoh hum!
Due to the rise in altitude the temperature is down to 40C. We were going to have a picnic lunch here but sat in the car and ate in the AC.
An unpleasant retrieval due to the climatic conditions but luckily had the TOTT. TFTC LizBeth1998

Found at 1:30 PM GAFF1.
Gosh - what a fantastic location! An FP just for that!
Took us a while to locate the cache as when we read the cache description we thought it suggested that you could see the cache before sitting down! So we only checked places that you could see. We soon learned otherwise
Thanks LizBeth1998.

Had an afternoon free so thought I would go to a couple of spots to look for birds got my annual list and also attempt a few of the caches that had been placed since my last visit a year ago - good to see a range of new caches around Murwillumbah. Such a pleasant drive and most of the caches were quick finds - and even got a FTF to boot.
I had found the cache further along this road on a previous visit so surprised another has been placed on this quiet road. Found a safe spot to park and wondered across the road. Perfect seat for this type of hide - searched briefly once, and then searched a second time more thoroughly and found the cache - took a bit of poking to remove and also to return. Plenty of space on the log (right at the end!) and returned as found.

This is a lovely spot to look over the valley, I almost sat on the wet seat but saw the rain water just in time, it would have been quite an uncomfortable day in wet jeans if I hadn't noticed. The cache was found during our Leap Day 2020 roadtrip, a day which saw us attend an event in the morning, find a stack of caches, do a fair chunk of maintenance due to recent torrential rains and another event for dinner! We also managed to complete 24 geocaches in 24 hours so I can now go and buy a new geocoin! This is now also a new record for us, beating our 2012 record of 22 finds. All is good with this geocache.
A day out to Chillingham markets and some caching with Bebbles61 & NikkiRB nice hide TFTC

What a cool little road and lookout! Never been up here before, and was plesently surprised. Even an undercover picnic area on the other side of the road! I sat and viewed, but before that I found the cache. I fluked this one and it was in the first place I checked. Sat and signed the log. Not for too long though, as the day was really warming up. 31 degrees already.
Thanks for another one Lizzy!

Found It didn't take too long to find gps said it was 10m away from where it was
What a view even with the smoke haze today! Soon found the cache and once signed and placed back in its spot we took some photos and sat and soaked in the views. Though I spent many a weekend at an aunty and uncle's farm down the hill from the ridge I had never been on this road except for caching - maybe it wasn't there? Thanks LizBeth1998.
2TF here today with JooJoo57. We were happy to take this drive out here as this countryside is glorious. These new caches and a few others were our haul today and it was just a delight. Thanks for making sure we came out this way again by placing these caches LizBeth1998. Cache found in good condition and duly signed before replacing. The view here is sure worth stopping for. We took some photos before going on our way.
We are intrigued by the seat here and the two picnic tables across the road that we could see. Would love to know their story.
Cheers and happy caching!
