I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Thought this might be my first find on the island but no luck. Hint wasn’t near the coordinates but read other posts but no luck. Due to there being lots of predator traps amongst the trees I didn’t like poking around too much.
The cache appears to have been stolen/ removed - I will need to check, but strongly suspect this is the case.
Great little find for my second find while on a weekend holiday. Didn’t have anything to swap or leave.
There’s a friendly cat that lives around here! Very cute, it will lead you to the cache, follow that cat!
Wow... That was a quick find and log after not following the hint...
Thank you for the cache

We are staying on the island for a few days and this was the closest unfound cache to where we were staying. Once at gz we circled the area and soon spotted this cache.
Nice and big easy when you follow the cordinates and ignore the park bench part of the hint.
Over on Waiheke today, so I had to grab at least one cache, this was the first. I ended up grabbing two.
Thanks for the placement.
Coords are fairly good, hint is well off!

Spent quite a while looking in the wrong spot but then realised someone had moved it so hint is now not relevant if that helps. Jumbo Cache! Lovely park. TFTC
“I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library.”
― Jorge Luis Borges
Waiheke is often described as a paradise as well as being called the jewel of the Hauraki Gulf. Waiheke Library has hidden a small box geocache that contains:
a logbook with a question to answer – ‘What’s your paradise island book?’
a children’s ‘travelling book’ to swap
a fact sheet with a few interesting facts about Waiheke
and a swapable swag treasure – a ‘jewel’ for a ‘jewel’.
It is hidden down in Blackpool. It’s not on the beach, it’s not in a park, it’s not a dessert, but it is in a basin

#2 for the day. Thanks for the warning about the critter traps x2! Snagged a bug! TFTC!
Working our way back across the island we decided to stop here before a couple more winery's. About 100 feet off. Defiently use the hint to find the nice container. Retrieved a traveler. SL LN TFTC!
Thankfully the hint told us where to search as the coordinates are way off Not often that we find a regular these days Tftc
On a day trip to Waiheke Island for a show I was working on at the Artworks Theatre! The hint was a great help as coordinates were way off. TFTC!
Careful not to confuse with a pest Trap. My prefered Book : the mother, from Gorki.
What a great cache. Sorry no book but please take care of my 3 trackables from the USA.
Found by our grandsons, the mini Whirliegigs, on a beautiful Waiheke morning. Took marbles, left fridge magnet. TFTC.
Perfect day on paradise island.
My reading is taken up with War and Peace at the moment.

We found the the coordinates off. But it was an easy find thanks to the hint. Did get a little distracted by the traps but stayed away from them to find! Thanks doll for the adventure
Easy find but co-ordinates are way off. Hint makes it easy as. Neat idea - wish we'd had a book to swap!
Found on a wander around Waiheke. Coordinates are a bit off but easily found with the hint. Greetings from Wellington New Zealand and TFTC.
A quick find find while having a pleasant wander around Oneroa. TftC. MattyH from Tassie
The is by far the biggest geocache we have ever found “super jumbo size! if you ever here in this area over guy fawkes & Halloween, this neighbourhood comes alive with trick-or-treaters!
Its our first full day in New Zealand and what would be better than to spend it on Paradise island?! Wine, cheese, oysters, olive oil tasting, views, hikes and a fun musical museum, all on one day!
We found this cache at the start of the day. Without the hint it can't be found, the right coords are:S 36 47.333 E 175 00.834. And it was not at a tree but at a small plant closer to the grass. Beware of the many ants on the bench!
TFTC!

This one's coords seemed a bit off so we gave up and went for dinner. Hit it again on the way back and found the hint. Grabbed no problem then, spotted straight away! Didn't have a swap, but loved the famous five books as a kid. TFTC!
Yay - our second FTF on your beautiful Waiheke Island. We are kiwi expats now living in Melbourne, enjoying a well earned NZ holiday. As a kid I loved the choose your own adventure books. TFTC
