Today I headed onto the timber trail leg of the Te araroa trail, this first part was a bit of a strain as I haven't been on a bike in years and even then it was in Melbourne which is super flat. I felt like vomiting on the immediate uphill. I was thankful that this cache placement gave me a chance to stop.It did not take me long to zero in on the likely hiding place but it took a bit longer with blind grabbing to get my fingers on the prize. My thanks to the cache owner for placing a cache here to add to my fun and great to give this cache a bit of love after almost a year. Cheers.-- This log is trackable ! ---- Feel free to discover ---- Please mention, in which cache you've seen this code: ---- 3TABQX --

Wohoo! Good spot to get off the bike for a bit. Mind the blackberry - not a problem right now but might be in time. Many thanks for the placement. What a super day!

When I can see the sun, I can find north. When I can see stars, I can find south. Today I could only see thick, low cloud so I was buggered.
Using the clue I took a guess at where the cache may be hiding. It turned out I was wrong, but it did give me a perfect view of where it actually was. Shortly after, using the blind-grab technique, I had it. Cache all in good shape here. I JUST managed to get it returned when a sneaky muggle arrived out of nowhere on his stealthy, electric motorbike.
I would have loved to have been here with all the kotukutuku in flower.

In Pureora for an event celebrating 2000 pairs of Kokako, so I had hoped to grab a few caches while in the area.

Managed to park within a km of this cache, picked it up when heading back from the sheltered cache nearby. A great hint made for a simple find. Thanks for the hide.

Thanks 2 Bulbars for placing this cache

It was in the 4th place I looked... but then as they say - things are nearly always found in the last place you look!!

Walking the Te Araroa and now the timber trail wow .
As we made our way to the start before daylight and made our way along the trail with a spectacular sun rise i nab a cache or two .
A quick search soon had the goods in hand.
Now on with the trail see how far we can go today before we camp .
Looking forward to the rest of the trail.

Living life one foot steep at a time as i walk from cape reinga to bluff and caching my way home as I walk the
Te Araroa and discover the hidden treasures new Zealand has to offer.
From the beach of the north to the forest and lakes of the south
Blùff here i come
Thanks for the hide

just to save confusion, myself and watcache were with the CO when this was placed, and have already signed the log but will not be claiming the ftf. We won't log it until after that.

I can not say i found this one as I was with the CO when he was hiding this one and he just handed it to me to sign, and as It's not fair to claim a first to find I am logging this one today the 26th of January 2020.
Thanks for the placement and the smiley

I'd been chugging away quite nicely when there was suddenly a gathering in front of me and I reluctantly had to stop ( yeah right ) to find out what was going on of course! Hmmm they seemed familiar? Oh yes I remember where I've seen them before - they're my team mates!
It soon became evident what they were up to, so my name was added to the log and I was told to carry on and wait for them at the shelter, so on I went, leaving them to their dodgy goings on!
Thanks 2B
